The brides room was well apportioned and comfortable (as F.O.B. I wasn't in it much). So thankful that we found this place...made for a lifetime of beautiful memories! We had about 140 guests and they fit very nicely inside...didn't feel too crowded. This is a great place to tie the knot! As the guy who paid for the whole shindig, I felt I got my money's worth and then some!

It's a peaceful lodge tucked away in a corner of the property that has a serene porch that we sat out on each night with views of the mountains. The room cleanliness was impeccable - much cleaner than any chain hotel I've stayed at. The housekeeping staff even left hand written notes for us, and went above and beyond in making sure all of the guests needs were not just met but exceeded when we needed help. You will not meet a more pleasant front desk staff who was genuinely excited to talk to you each day and answer any of your questions! The drive to the entrance of west glacier was maybe 5 minutes - perfect for quick access to the park. 2) We did the fly fishing all day tour which I would highly recommend. I would be amiss without mentioning our guide Chaney by name. He reached out to us ahead of time and was extremely kind and flexible - adapting to any requests I had to make the trip personalized. And he was amazing during the actual guide! He had us laughing, smiling and learning so much throughout the whole day. And he did it all while rowing us down rapids!! His knowledge of the local wildlife was impressive and you can tell he truly cares deeply about what he does. Not to mention the beauty of the river itself - it would have been worth it to go just for the views, and getting to fish while doing it was even better! All in all - exceptional place, I plan to re-book for my next visit in the area.

It is perfectly located just next to the lovely small town. Chris made sure we were comfortable, checked in with us morning and evening, and gave us suggestions on places to go, what to know from a local perspective and how best to get there. He is so knowledgeable about the history, culture, terrain and everything you need to know. The accommodations were comfortable, with a large closet to put all our stuff. We could not believe the French press coffee brought to our room each morning at the time of our choosing (really?!!) and then the local offerings for breakfast!! A glass of wine in the evening if you choose. The comfort and the pleasure is all right there. And I am a fussy sleeper/traveler... this was true fun. Just beautiful up there!

The furniture, lighting, bar area, and overall aesthetic are genuinely attractive. Unfortunately, almost everything else about the experience missed the mark. We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was completely empty -- not a single customer in the dining area. Despite that, the greeting felt awkward and rushed. The bartender/server barely acknowledged us before immediately grabbing menus and directing us where to sit without introducing herself, asking if we'd been there before, or offering any kind of welcoming hospitality. I asked if we could sit at one of the round tables with the large red chairs, and while she agreed, she honestly seemed irritated that we asked. Considering there were five of us and the place was empty, it was a strange first impression. The menu itself is limited. It's mostly sandwiches, tacos, and appetizers -- no real entrées or substantial dinner options. The pricing is fair enough, but the food quality did not come close to matching the beautiful atmosphere. I ordered what appeared to be their signature appetizer sampler: sliders, deviled eggs, bacon-wrapped dates with cheese, toast, sweet potato chips, and candied pecans. It arrived cold, disorganized, and badly overcooked. The sweet potato chips were literally black and burnt, and the pecans looked equally scorched. I'm still confused why the plate included three slices of dry toast with absolutely nothing to put on them -- no spread, no pâté, no topping of any kind. It felt random and unfinished. Timing from the kitchen was even worse. One chicken sandwich arrived roughly 12 minutes before anyone else received food. Then my appetizer came out -- again, cold and burnt. After that, the two people who ordered tacos waited another 15-20 minutes before their meals finally arrived. Because we were trying to be polite and civilized, nobody wanted to eat before everyone had food, so we spent a large portion of the evening just sitting there staring at each other while some people had meals getting cold and others had nothing. In an empty restaurant, that's hard to understand. The server did apologize multiple times for the delays, and honestly, the issues seemed more like an inexperienced kitchen struggling with execution than one bad employee. Still, nearly an hour into the meal, we still didn't even know our server's name. The most disappointing part is that there really wasn't a single memorable food item. Beautiful facility aside, nothing we ate was good. Cold sliders, burnt chips, delayed meals, awkward service -- it just never came together. We also toured the golf simulator area. The employee showing it to us was polite, but again there was very little engagement or eye contact. The simulator area was completely empty as well. Ironically, the only busy section of the business was the casino area off to the side -- which says something considering almost every gas station casino in Montana draws a crowd on a Sunday night. I genuinely hope they improve because the investment into the space is obvious and the concept has potential. But based on this visit, the execution simply wasn't there.

I put IN TOWN in big print because it is THE best location of any hotel in the area. Located right downtown, a block or two or less away from any restaurant, bar, or shop, and about a 10 minutes drive to the ski mountain parking lot. The place is georgous! I'd say somewhat Montana Mountain Chic. Our room was beautiful, quite large, big windows, great views, and a giant patio porch! The bed was super comfy and the shower is about as nice and giant as any cool shower could be. There is beautiful outdoor space as well, and a really beautful roof-deck and heated pool, so cool! The restaurant and bar are the town's newest must-do hot spot, with great energy. So, the "place" is awesome in every way! 5 - STARS, and A++++ in every way! Part 2 of this is of course THE PEOPLE. Every single person is beyond nice and helpful, always a smile and always willing to help to make our stay the best, and we pretty much met everyone .... the culinary staff, front desk, housekeeping, the list means EVERYONE!
