This place is one of the nicer elks lodges I have visited. My Tuesday night dart league is what brought me here for the first time. Plenty of room in the parking lot. My first thought? This place is huge! There are two different entrances. The side door which bring you downstairs and the front which I believes leads to their party room up stairs. I can't comment on what it looks like upstairs because i didn't have a chance to look at it due to someone actually using the space for a party. If your not a member, you need to pick up the telephone in the downstairs entrance for the bartender to buzz you right in. I had to go in and out a few times and I must say, the bartender was very attentive when it came to letting people into the room. Downstairs has a full service round bar. Cold draft beer with chilled beer glasses, inexpensive drinks, two dart boards, and a ton of tables to sit at as well. Oh and if someone buys you a drink you get a chip that says "good for one free drink" as opposed to the upside down shot glass. Kinda cute. They also have in house lottery tickets that are a dollar each. Found that to be pretty cool as well. read more

Always a welcoming place. To have a few parties or a few drinks. I never had a problem with this hall. And I'm sure I never will. The North Arlington Elks club has been around my family many years! It will always be my number one place to rent for a party. read more

I stopped by for the home made ice cream today and it was such a great treat! I went with the…read morecarrot cake ice cream and the German valley chocolate! First off the carrot cake had real carrots in it. Which I liked! I met Amy, who makes the ice cream, and Denise who does the quality control. They were both very friendly and they gave me a peek at the process of making the ice cream. I highly recommend stopping by and visiting Ort Farms! They also have a produce store, that offers different kinds of quiche. I look forward to trying the bacon and cheddar quiche next time.

They have several food trucks with lots of different choices. They have a nice farmer's market that is nicely decorated and has plenty of items for sale. They have a great selection of pies too. Also, there is an ice cream stand next to the market opened daily, all ice cream is homemade and fresh! Their hot apple cider and cinnamon donut was a great treat! Since finding Ort Farms is not too far from us, we'll be back next year once the crops are back in season.

Visited the farms today for some blueberry picking. Even though they sustained significant damage…read morebecause of severe winter storms, there was plenty of picking to be done today. They have a good range of options available in good seasons: apples, blueberries, flowers, etc. They also have a good prices in their store, where they have a small amount of produce and food goods. I like a farm that keeps their stock simple like this-- not a lot of random more tourist-y items but just the food and products from it. There's a lot of room for picking here, but not a lot of shade on directly sunlit day like today. That being said, it was still a good time going in and out of the rows and we were able to get a decent amount of fruit with us. Price per lb. was more than great too! I'd definitely love to visit again-- 1-1.5 hours is sufficient for this location!
