He was nice but did a lot of pointing fingers at others and lacked accountability (although the ones who treated me unfairly worked for a separate agency....they still were the event organizers at Debonair...so yea...they worked there, even if one night). Today, we went to see Rob Schneider. Rob put on an entertaining and sold out comedy show and sang, as well. The theater has great acoustics, comfortable seats, has been nicely renovated, and the staff members keep the attendees moving and safe. The venue is STUNNING - it literally checked all of our boxes. Think classy, elegant, bright, airy, and then some! An amazing indoor and outdoor ceremony space, a grand ballroom, a picturesque bar and cocktail area, and a breathtaking golf course to take photos on. From the very beginning, the staff at Edgewood, especially Taylor, has been absolutely amazing. They are quick, responsible, detailed - they answered all of my questions and even made suggestions on things I didn't even think about. Honestly, thanks to their help, wedding planning went so smoothly. Also, bonus points that they had an AMAZING food tasting, which tons of other venues didn't even offer. We're foodies so this was huge for us! We'd love to relive it again. From the very beginning, they were dedicated to helping us make our dream wedding and they saw it through to the very end. The staff at the Edgewood are TRUE professionals - that isn't even enough to describe how good they are at their trade. They are a well-oiled, high functioning machine. We didn't hire a wedding planner and truthfully, we didn't need one. That's how good the staff at Edgewood was - even all of my vendors couldn't stop commenting about well timed everything was and how on top the staff was. Everything about the wedding day was perfect. From the second we arrived at the venue, we were well well taken care of. Our attendants anticipated everything! The cocktail hour was AMAZING - food out the doors - until now, everyone can't get over how much food there was, how attentive the servers were, and how quick they were to refill everyone's plates. They had a Christmas party, with food and free drinks for a set price. Up to 10 drinks, were built into the price. Everyone is very friendly and seem to know each other. Members volunteer to bartend and help with cleanup. During the party they also had a DJ. Spacious enough to accommodate at least 60/65 people comfortably. Drinks was everything from beer to Johnny Walker Black. The only drawback is you have to attend with a member. Parking also is definitely a crap shoot, sometimes you might get lucky others not so much!

The place is run by a cool guy that seems to be something of a character given the amount of art of him that appears near the entrance. Who made this art? No clue. It's cool. He's cool. The song selection seems pretty up to date, at least with Korean music. Still pretty good selection of pop songs in English, allowing non-Korean speakers to have fun too! Standard karaoke fare here, with two microphones, two song books, some couches, and two tambourines. Would have been a little bit more fun if we brought drinks, but it's fine! Alcohol is bad for us.

We have been wearing our K9 Dug shirts since we bought them last year, and we get stopped all the time by people who compliment them. They make us happy. And then I MEET DUG IN PERSON!!! It was like meeting a celebrity for me! lol. Beyond that - the food is always great. Fun to watch the cornhole games. Listen to the music. I highly recommend coming out to support the VFW and enjoy Freedom Fest.
