This was one of the nail shops I liked in the area but will not be retuning after this experience. Went in to have acrylic removed off my toes and Instead of soaking it off the nail tech kept using his tools and cut into my natural nail. It was so painful that I couldn't let him finish and when the owner saw what he had done he told me I should have waited to have it removed. Had the owner acknowledged that the tech messed up I probably wouldn't be writing this but absolutely will not be going there again. read more

Very bad paraffin experience. The owner was in a hurry and put my right foot in a plastic bag which was very hot, I immediately pull my foot back, but she insisted I keep it. I immediately begin to pull my foot out as I screamed. She gave me ice only after I asked, all the while saying "U must be very sensitive" my foot remain red in color and sensitive to touch. After I drove 30 mins and arrived there, I was told that the person that will do my nails aren't here and they are over an hour behind. The least I expected is to give me a phone call and cancel my appointment or even give me heads up. They aren't professional and wasted my time and for that they lost my business. I have been going to this salon with my mother for years. YEARS. Every month we get a pedicure. We were very loyal customers. We never used to make appointments, but we would have to wait, so Leeann suggested we make appointments in the future. That went well for a while, but the last several times we were very disappointed. Even with an appointment, we were waiting 45 minutes to an hour for them to start our pedicure. They were taking walk-in's at our appointment time, and making us wait. Time is precious. I don't need to spend upwards of 2 hours in a salon for a pedicure. The last time it happened we decided we weren't coming back. We were really sad because we used to love coming here. But we felt unappreciated, so we will be taking our money elsewhere. read more

I actually came here to have my nail shape fixed from trying a new place and LeAnn was awesome and shaped my nails better. I was also trying to get gel X and she offered to do them once I had my set for a couple weeks. I made an appointment for 3 weeks later. I am pretty disappointed. I wanted French tips and they were completely uneven because she was running behind for another appointment and not even 5 days later the nails are lifting because they were not sealed at the cuticle and starting to get mold from water getting underneath. On top of that I had to go to a different salon and have the French repainted which came out perfect- just to have to remove my nails because they were not sealed properly. I would have liked to at least make the 200 i spend last a couple weeks read more

I came for a relaxing affordable pedicure, but it just took WAY too long to be taken care of. It was actually hilarious how long it took! It took 1.5 hours total! {Keep reading for the comical parts of my visit.} Thankfully I was immediately put in a chair to soak my feet but by the time they got to me (35 minutes later), my toes were raisins and the water was luke warm.... Gross right? I tried to not get frustrated and just focus on enjoying the back massage I was getting from the massage chair. The comedy continues... So the woman who finally sat down to do my pedicure was wearing the shortest dress that I could see her underwear when she sat down. So unprofessional right?!?!?! I just put my book up higher so I wouldn't have to see that LOL! Then an older woman sat next to me and started making all her phone calls. Speaking loudly like we wanted to hear her talk to her children on the phone about whether they should go to Europe for Christmas or not I was getting so annoyed as I'm sure everyone else was. I was so close to educating her that it is an unsaid rule to not talk on the phone while you're at a spa and if she can please make her phone calls another time, that would be amazing. Gah!!! I would have been so appreciative if one of the nail technicians would have asked her to not talk on the phone for me. All that said... If I can't find a better place, I might go back again. Haha! Because I liked my toes and Lenox Village is one of my favorite areas to hang out, just on the outskirts of Nashville. I will just make sure I have a large amount of time to spend there. read more

I came in for a spa pedicure at Elle Nails because it is in my apartment complex and I have yet to try this place out. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful Mediterranean style decor and chandeliers. I felt like a princess in an enchanted land and I knew I was in for a treat. The nail polish selection is superb by my standards which means a plethora of OPI and Essie colors. Making a decision was tough but I chose a soft orange. They also have china glaze and dip shellac colors. There are several pedicure options but I chose the basic spa pedicure which comes with callous removal, filling and shaping of nails and of course a foot massage. My nail tech was attentive to my nails and offered great service that was also prompt. Things I love about this place: quick and professional service with knowledgeable staff. I was offered a beverage as soon as I was seated. I was informed of my pedicure options and wasn't pressured to choose. Most of all I was comfortable in the peaceful atmosphere. read more

I love this place! I took my daughter's wedding party here for a mani/pedi party the day before the wedding. They took great care of us and had tables for our cheese & crackers and cupcakes and they provided the wine. Very nice. I brought my niece here today for her first mani, she loved it! Had a nice soft drink while she waited and they gave her perfect chevron designs just like she wanted. Everyone here is super sweet. The owner Ken is my fave. read more

They charged me $70 for my full set and it was NOT worth $70. Maybe $40, but not $70. The guy who did my nails took forever, and blamed it on the length of nails I got. That a load of crap, because I've gotten longer and have been in and out in less than an hour. I was in there for over two hours. Yes I got my toes done as well, but over an hour for some acrylics? You've got to be kidding. The nails are OK but not worth $70. $70 worth is quick nails that look exactly like the picture I showed him. The shape is mediocre. No crisp lines just very dull edges. And to add icing on the cake, the polish on my left thumb is bumpy! It's as if he got powder in the polish and just tried going over it with more coats to hide it! That's not worth $70! Only thing I like is the colors I chose. I won't be going back. I was robbed. read more

I so badly want to give good reviews here. I'll give an okay one. The owners are the friendliest people and definitely want to please. I imagine if you go in winter or when they aren't busy, you will get an excellent mani or pedi. I just haven't experienced that yet, despite making appointments and asking for a slow day. The work is rushed. The dip manis are lumpy and I was cut several times because the technician was rushing. My nails aren't even or straight, and two of my three pedicures have chipped within two days. I've been getting these treatments for years at other salons and these issues are new to me as is this salon. Seriously, they want to please and will ask for another shot. Not sure why they bother taking appointments, because you will wait over a half hour before they even start prepping a station for you. Then you will sit in the chair for another significant amount of time, still not being serviced. When you make an appointment with a certain person, that will not be honored either. I also saw them take unsuspecting walk-ins when they didn't have enough technicians to address the people who were already waiting.
