I was able to be seen for a cut and color within 2 days. Allie was my stylist and she did a great job. Listened to what I wanted and made good suggestions for the best results. She was very friendly and personable. This salon is a bit on the pricier side but the service was well worth it. Love how it turned out.

Sad to say I had a horrible experience at this salon beware of their color policies. As a new resident to the area I chose the salon based on reviews looking for a great colorist. Hair colored as a root touchup December 14. Today is Jan 2nd color is completely diminished out of my hair. I was told they have a one week policy for hair Color touchup only after I called, she said usually people complain after only one week I told her with the holiday I was traveling from the East Coast and had no option, but to call when I returned not wanting a free service however, just wanting them to make it right you would think as a new client they would be eager to gain new business. Offered to fix for another $120.00 No Thank you!!!

My first time here, and let me tell you! I have nothing to complain about. They're really good with keeping up with covid regulations. Everything was so clean and modern, aesthetically pleasing. Great customer service. I had an appointment with Lindsay and she was sooooo amazing. She had asked questions on how I wanted my hair and what else I would like done. Also loved her energy. Ummmm... so/so about this place the stylist was nice but the pricing is a little odd ... the price goes up with the years of experience the stylist has .... Well I just get a super basic trim .. like hardly any hair token off . So I called and wanted someone with 2 years. I mean who can mess up a trim well they are never available so I ended up paying 100$ for a trim I wanted to die . I have been going to an Aveda salon for over 9 years and since I just moved to Clovis I went to Elle. I even brought my formula from the previous salon so my highlights and base would be the same. I hate to leave negative reviews. The girl who helped me was a delight, very kind and friendly but the highlights were imperceptible and I left with the same length root line showing, slightly lighter due to the color lifting shampoo. Very disappointing. At home my family even asked if I did not do the highlights ... there was no difference, Just wasted time and money. read more

I see Molly for my haircut and color. Love love love her! She give a great massage when shampooing and conditioning my hair. She does an amazing job with the cut. (So far had 3 different visits at the salon.) At the end of my last 2 cuts she did debulking around my face which made my hair look so much better and frame my face really nicely. read more

Hands down, just come here for your hair. I'll be coming here forever now, and recommending it to everyone. I never would have imagined that such a great place existed in the Fresno/Clovis area. The outside is cute, the inside is gorgeous. It doesn't smell like hairspray and nail polish, it's like a high end Lush. Everything smells organic and refreshing. It feels like you took it from San Francisco and dropped it in Old Town. Upon walking in(about 15 minutes early), my boyfriend and I were offered a drink. Shortly after, Stacey Grill came and brought me back to the seat (and brought an extra chair for my plus one). Everyone was so excited that I was chopping my hair off! Going from hair at my butt to a pixie is a big deal. She cut it, washed it, and then perfected it. Stacey is the nicest and most amazing hairstylist I've ever met... Despite my awkward personality, she talked to me and my boyfriend as if we were long term friends. I've never been happy with a haircut before, and this cut is perfect. I love everything about it. Thanks to Stacey, I feel so much more confident about myself, I feel like I can take on the world! Btw, when I called the day before and asked about pricing, the receptionist told me cuts start at 50$. After all the product and service used on my hair, I was worried it would come out to be over 100$... But it was only 60!! Great prices and great service. Will be back!! read more

I went for a color with Molly and I did do touch up with a partial highlights and I was supposed to go every two weeks but then with in a wash Which was after a weekThe partial highlights went back to my original color and the color and root touchup faded off I tried calling them multiple times to get in earlier so they can fix my hair since I couldn't go like this to work but they kept saying it's holiday season and they can't accommodate me I hate writing negative reviews on Yelp and I gave them multiple options to fix this but they didn't I see multiple good reviews and that's why I made my appointments there maybe they are biased towards me?Because I don't see other any other reason that they wouldn't take care of it BEWARE of Christy at Front desk as she is rude dishonest and unprofessional- And may be not the right place for People of color since looking at previous reviews and with my experience It stands out that way !!!! read more

Nothing gets better than Elle Style Bar! Each time I go in for a cut or color I'm always impressed with what my stylist, Denise, can do. She seriously works magic! The salons' atmosphere is beautifully serene and calming. When you walk in the doors someone is there to immediately welcome you and offer you water or tea. You also get to choose a complimentary service such as a hand massage, scalp massage, makeup application, etc, you choose! You get the royal treatment here. A few weeks ago I was on my way to my appointment and I ran out of gas--because I think my car is invincible :/ which I know now is not true. Anyway, I called Elle Style Bar and let them know I would be at least a half hour late to my appointment and asked if I should just reschedule. They graciously made the time to still take me. Denise did my color, which I loved, and another stylist shampooed and blow-dried. I was perfectly fine with this because I didn't want Denise to get backed up on her appointments. The teamwork and willingness of the other stylist to help out was great. I got to meet a new face. Elle Style Bar is THE place to go. Their commitment to their clients is something you don't find easily. The staff is SO talented and skilled at what they do. They are kind, welcoming, and just plain talented. This place is amazing. The environment is very Aveda but very laid-back. The staff is super helpful and not overbearing at all. Denise Meza, the reason I switched to Elle Bar, was amazing as always. I knew I was wanting to make a fairly large change, and started planning by perusing pinterest. I was able to take a few pictures and information, largely stuck in my brain, to Denise and walk out with exactly what I was looking for. She has a knack for understanding what YOU are looking for and making it happen. She is also a whiz with color! I walked out feeling better than I have in months. If you are looking for a change, or just an amazing stylist, Denise is the girl for you. Oh my gosh, love, love this place. The atmosphere is beautiful, feels like I am somewhere else, big city yet beach resort. When I walked in the receptionist was so welcoming, I felt like I made her day because I arrived. The stylist listened to what I was wanting while offering her expertise without being pushy. The whole "Aveda experience" was incredibly relaxing and somehow soothing to my soul. Really can't say enough, loved it so much. I will be back!!! read more

I love Elle Style Bar. The young lady at the front desk is very kind and helpful and my stylist Stacey Grill is Amazing!! She makes you feel very comfortable and aloways does a wonderful job weather it be a color or cut. She asks what you want and never ceases to amaze me at always getting it right. To be clear, I did my due diligence. I called ahead and specifically asked if they could do a men's haircut, and I was assured they could. When I sat in the chair, the stylist Tanya immediately told me she couldnt do skin fades. I said, "Okay, perfect," because that's exactly what I didn't want. I explained that my usual style is a more grown-out, longer look. I even showed a clear inspiration photo to ensure we were on the same page. She then proceeded to completely ignore everything I said. Not only did she not follow the photo, but she cut my hair drastically shorter than I asked for. When I voiced my concern, saying it was already too short, she decided to take even more off, making the situation infinitely worse. I usually cut my own hair, and I consistently get a result ten times better than this. The one time I trust a professional with a major life event, my trust was completely misplaced. I am so angry and frustrated. My hair is completely butchered, and I now have to face a big career milestone feeling insecure and unhappy. I did not mind that the cut was bad as long as she fixed it but I did not appreciate that she would let me walk out of the salon with a bad hair cut, she was unwilling to apologize or admit it wasn't good. The other workers supported her, I understand that supporting and empowering your employees is good but for the sake of good hair and costumer service, this place lacks integrity. At the end I was not happy with the cut but didn't want to be rude so paid the unreasonable $20. I will never return to this salon. My intentions are not bad with this honest review, hopefully it can save others from another experience or if read by owners, hopefully they will change.

Last winter, I found out she had set up shop at The Mix and I started following her body of work on social media. She told me she was fully booked and wasn't taking new clients, but she put me on her cancellation list. I was thrilled when, due to a last minute cancellation last week, I was finally able to get on her schedule for a quick cut and style. I'll take it! Kelli reinvigorated my boring ol' hair with the lift and volume I needed and gave me just the look I was trying to achieve. I told her that I would be returning to The Mix in about a week for an appointment with Diane Makasian to take care of the longer process of coloring and Kelli took the time to discuss what tones would look best for my hair. Leading up to my appointment, Diane was very receptive to communicating via text message to discuss what look I was trying to achieve. Unlike Kelli, I didn't know Diane previously but I booked with her due to the fabulous word of mouth reviews I had heard. We traded pictures and dialogue and I felt very comfortable going in to see her for the first time and trusting her expertise. At the appointment, she took her time and explained her coloring technique to me and how it would look considering the old (store bought - a big no-no!) hair color remnants that were still on my hair. Also, I would be completely remiss if I didn't mention this woman gives an out-of-body experience scalp massage. I was practically levitating in the chair! Diane did an amazing coloring job on me, toning my hair with golden honey hues to give me a more youthful, without being washed out, look. It was exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier! All in all I feel very fortunate to have had my hair done at this salon by two very talented, experienced ladies. Stop looking for other salons, this is it!
