I have been going to an Aveda salon for over 9 years and since I just moved to Clovis I went to Elle. I even brought my formula from the previous salon so my highlights and base would be the same. I hate to leave negative reviews. The girl who helped me was a delight, very kind and friendly but the highlights were imperceptible and I left with the same length root line showing, slightly lighter due to the color lifting shampoo. Very disappointing. At home my family even asked if I did not do the highlights ... there was no difference, Just wasted time and money. read more

I see Molly for my haircut and color. Love love love her! She give a great massage when shampooing and conditioning my hair. She does an amazing job with the cut. The outside is cute, the inside is gorgeous. It doesn't smell like hairspray and nail polish, it's like a high end Lush. Everything smells organic and refreshing. It feels like you took it from San Francisco and dropped it in Old Town. Upon walking in(about 15 minutes early), my boyfriend and I were offered a drink. Shortly after, Stacey Grill came and brought me back to the seat (and brought an extra chair for my plus one). Everyone was so excited that I was chopping my hair off! Going from hair at my butt to a pixie is a big deal. She cut it, washed it, and then perfected it. Stacey is the nicest and most amazing hairstylist I've ever met... Despite my awkward personality, she talked to me and my boyfriend as if we were long term friends. I've never been happy with a haircut before, and this cut is perfect. I love everything about it. Thanks to Stacey, I feel so much more confident about myself, I feel like I can take on the world! Btw, when I called the day before and asked about pricing, the receptionist told me cuts start at 50$. I went for a color with Molly and I did do touch up with a partial highlights and I was supposed to go every two weeks but then with in a wash Which was after a weekThe partial highlights went back to my original color and the color and root touchup faded off I tried calling them multiple times to get in earlier so they can fix my hair since I couldn't go like this to work but they kept saying it's holiday season and they can't accommodate me I hate writing negative reviews on Yelp and I gave them multiple options to fix this but they didn't I see multiple good reviews and that's why I made my appointments there maybe they are biased towards me?Because I don't see other any other reason that they wouldn't take care of it BEWARE of Christy at Front desk as she is rude dishonest and unprofessional- And may be not the right place for People of color since looking at previous reviews and with my experience It stands out that way !!!! read more
