For a massage therapist that indicates on their website that they treat clients with dignity and respect, this response to someone reaching out to your business for the very first time is very unprofessional and contradictory to what they proclaim their values are. Woke up this AM with a terrible neck pain and found Sarah on Yelp. I normally wouldn't look for a massage therapist in Evanston because I live in the city. But I was going to be headed that way for a meeting today and I have never found a great massage therapist in the city so I figured give Evanston a try. Luckily she had a slot in her schedule and fit me in same day. She is easy to talk to. Not too woo-woo. Down to earth, understands basic health and medicine that other massage therapists are sometimes clueless to. She is strong and goes deep without being a bull in a china shop - she is very smooth in her movements. Her office is clean, organized, and had a relaxed vibe. It was quiet too, which I really appreciate as many places I've gone to lately are really loud with thin walls. Plus, I love that it does not have smelly candles or potpourri. It was one of the best massages I've had in Chicago. I think she will be my go-to gal from now on when I'm needing to de-stress or have pain. Anyways, I don't enjoy deep tissue or heavy massages but I kept thinking while he was massaging "the foot part is coming I'm sure" ... it never did. It was a good massage but not what I had expected. Checking out is when I realized I was given the 70 dollar deep tissue instead of the 48 dollar foot massage. I did express my disappointment/ confusion and they took off 9 dollars.
