Now, I finally had the chance to check them out. Calling for takeout was pretty simple. Place your order via phone and they'll let you know how long it'll be ready. My order was the Wild Hog pizza which consists of Sweet BBQ sauce, ham, sausage, bacon and mozarella cheese. Also, they had their custard flavor of the week. Given this is the last week of 2021, how better to top it off with Celebration Cake custard. So I requested one scoop. 15 minutes later, pick it up via drive-thru window. Again, easy and simple. From the first bite to the last, I can say I'm impressed. The pizza was done just right. Medium sized, which you can finish in one setting. And I like the fact that this pizza had equal toppings and cheese which equal the size of the crust. Very important for any pizza lover out there. And the custard.....flavorful indeed. Just like eating an actual piece of cake. I truly enjoyed this meal from start to finish. Needless to say, I am glad Franklinton has a spot that is fresh and one that can continue to grow.
