Surprised when my son sent my neice and I Mother's Day flowers. I called because they were delivered on Saturday, and dead by Wednesday. Called and spoke to someone who assured me the Manager would call back. The first day here, I had to remove one of the flowers as it was curled up. I purchased the Lemonade bouquet for a wedding arrangement gift, arriving day before. The arrangement not only looked nothing like their photo but the flowers were fully opened near end of life stage. It was suppose to have yellow and white roses with both smaller and larger in size and not full bloomed. The arrangement received had more white carnations than anything else. Their service was exemplary in every way AND the arrangements are always way above the average...so beautiful. I have used them several times with total satisfaction. Sometimes a florist can be barely what you had anticipated and it is very disappointing for the price. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH ELLENTON FLORIST. So disgusted! I am in Indiana and ordered their "Florists Choice Daily Deal" for my mother's birthday; she lives near Ellenton Florist in Florida, I upgraded the arrangement, paid for delivery and spent a total of over $87 dollars for roses that arrived wilted and all other flowers dying within 24 hours. My mother was too embarrassed to tell me just how bad they were, because she knew I must have paid quite a bit for them. First photos is day of delivery, 3/26. Second photo is the next day, 3/27. Never again. Sad and disgusted. UPDATE: Spoke with the "owner". She accepted little to no responsibility; "I was not here that day" "I did not send out these flowers". Offered a 50% refund of only the floral portion of the order or offered to prepare another arrangement and send it to my mother. Not acceptable. "I deal in perishables." Stopped in here on a Saturday for a christmasy arrangement for a friend. They didn't have anything nice in the cooler. Two large table arrangements with candles and one really small sleigh that was only $30. She kept pushing me towards these table pieces but they were ugly and not at all what I was looking for. I didn't care for what they had as they had a lot of red roses which reminded me too much of Valentine's Day rather than Christmas. The lady showed me a couple online but it was mostly red roses. When I expressed my concern the lady was incredibly rude at that point I knew I wasn't going to buy anything from them. read more

I come into this flower shop at 12:19 pm. The business closes at 1pm. Upon my arrival there were no customers inside. My son and I went inside because he needed a corsage for tonight's homecoming event for his girlfriend .The lady says I close at one and I'm not making any more things. I said it's 12:19 and I just needed a corsage. Then she replied well I'm not making any more items. I said seriously your a flower shop I just would like a corsage. On Saturday Sept 26th 2020 I went to this florist to pick up an arrangement that I had ordered for my mother, who I have not been able to see for months because of the current pandemic, for her birthday. I had purchased a baby rose topiary. When the woman brought it out I mentioned it looked nothing like the picture and was missing some curly branch decorative pieces (these particular items were the difference between the regular and the deluxe choice). I had chosen and PAID for the deluxe version. She then proceeded to stick what looked like dowel rods in it. When I expressed my disappointment at it not looking at all like the picture and what I paid for, I was told I was an insulting person and not to come back (That won't be a problem!) After reading their reviews on Yelp I ordered a flower arrangement and had them sent to the mother in law. First off Ellenton Florist was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating to my needs and more importantly my mother in law loved them,, she called and told my wife that the flowers were absolutely stunning and she was so pleased with them which made me look like a hero to my wife instead of a zero. My husband ordered a birthday bouquet for me from Ellenton Florist and I have to say I am very impressed. The arrangement is full of exotic flowers and it's clear the florist has a lot of artistic talent. My only comment is that they put so many flowers into the vase that it's very difficult to add water but I guess that's a good problem to have.
