Today I received the most exquisite flowers that I've ever been given. I've had many flower arrangements given to me, but this by far was exceptional. The roses were huge and the owner told me that when they fully opened they'll be the size on my palm! I took a photo of the front and back because both sides are beautiful. I was called when the flowers were delivered, I explained I wouldn't be home for hours. The delivery man asked if there was a neighbor he could leave them with, unfortunately none of them are home during the day. I happily said I would pick them up later. I was greeted by the owner in her cute little shop. I thanked her for the call because prior other companies just left them at the door. I live in the Midwest and wanted to send flowers to my aunt that is living in a rehabilitation center for an extended period of time to cheer her up. I was nervous about trying to find the right florist and one that is trustworthy. I called Oneco Florist early afternoon yesterday, asked if they could deliver the same day. I knew I shouldnt have trusted the only reviewer with only 2 reviews. Well, you can take a look at the picture of the bouquet I ordered for someone and judge for yourself whether you think I got robbed. I think I did. When I spend $40 on flowers, it better be a great bouquet and it was not. My boyfriend is awesome and sends me flowers on a regular basis (making all of my office coworker fairly envious), so I KNOW what a good bouquet of flowers looks like. I thought a local florist would do a better job than a online florist and i was wrong. I wanted an impressive arrangement of star gazers (bc those are his favorite). What did I get for $40? only SIX stargazers and some of those flowers you see for $9.99 in publix. Pathetic arrangement of poorly chosen flowers and tiny stargazers. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the person answering the phone and taking my order was very friendly. She asked me what type of flowers I did and did not want. I wish she had thought to ask me what colors, but I didnt think to ask at the time and a florist should know what questions to ask. I cannot recommend this Bradenton florist. read more
