I was…read morehoping Richard's Automotive could fix a coolant leak in a Ford F150 Turbo, a 13-hour billable repair and about $2,300.00. After 10 days (eight working days) and multiple excuses/lies I got my truck back with the front tires rubbing when turning, turbo leaks, and a check engine light with a turbo error displayed within 20 miles of pick-up, all documented by Ford. I gave Richard's Automotive the opportunity to be a responsible business and make good on their bad repair, they chose to defend the undefendable. Luckily, Ford was able to correct their incomplete or poor repair, provided video and written evidence that Richard's Automotive did not complete the repair correctly. Unfortunately, the Ford repair of Richard's Automotive negligence cost me an additional $1,400.00. I warn potential customers of this: if your repair is taking too long and the excuses pile up, you should be concerned with the quality of their work. Don't drive off without first test driving the vehicle.

On the interstate my car's thermostat randomly jumped up out of nowhere so we pulled off at a gas…read morestation near Adairsville, GA around 5am and we tried calling a few 24/7 mobile mechanics near there and none were available or answering their phone, so we called Mechanic Cam Mobile and thankfully he answered and was already out closer towards my family and I than around the area he services and he was able to help us! We thought it was one thing and it turned out it wasn't that but he was able to figure out and fix it, along with a couple other things, instead of fixing just the one single thing we saw was broken, he fixed the other things that lead up to that being broken. Whereas anyone else would've just fixed the one thing, he fixed the stuff that affected the one thing so it wouldn't happen again on our travels. Had it not been Cam, we would've broken down again before we got home, and we didn't! and fixing those 3 things, it also got rid of a sound that had been happening for years and had been to a certification Chevrolet mechanic about and they said it was something and we got that done, but the sound continued and after cal fixed this stuff, it went away and he solved what Chevrolet certified mechanics couldn't!

He does not do the work quickly, he takes the time and does it right. He got my truck and spent a week researching any recalls before starting work, to make sure I didn't have to pay for a repair before starting. I had a rebuilt trans shipped to Neese Transmission, and during the install, the valve body was bad from the new transmission I bought, He let me know and was fair in the install price. The amount for the repair was a little more than his estimate, but it was a 4 wheel drive pickup install, so this was more complicated than most transmissions. I recommend this shop for folks who need transmission service.
