The condo I rented was tiny and filthy No table or chairs to eat only à lunch counter The place was filthy. I spent 2 days cleaning so it was habitable I didn't bother to complain about everything that wasn't right, as we had to deal 2 young girls who were very arrogant and couldn't have been bothered with us. Asked for à manager and was told the manager was not on site. There was also black mold in the Master bathroom I give 1* out of 5* because of the location

I would actually give them a zero! We stayed at the Aero Club house for 1 week. $8000.00. Elliot Rental is a property management company who obviously does not have a clue about property management. When we tried to call them about the condition of the house, they didn't answer their phone for 2 days and their mailbox was full so we couldn't leave messages (NOT SURPRISED). When we were finally able to make contact with them, they said they would not fix anything and if we didn't like it, don't come back! ELLIOT RENTALS have a the majority for the property management business in Myrtle Beach. So, why would they care to accommodate anyone. The sell a false dream and relaxing vacation when in all actuality they are the biggest slumlords on the beach. I would be willing to say that the owner of this house has no clue what condition it is in. The pool was broken and felt slimy on the bottom. The corn hole bags were busted open and could not be used, the volleyball court was full of the sharp weeds that tear your feet up. We had to scrub the grill before it could be used. The cleaning service is not "free" as this company advertised, they literally do not clean anything AT ALL!!! Our check in was 4:00pm. We couldn't get in until 6:30pm. The "cleaning people" (one being a young girl- she was maybe 12 years old). Did not arrive until 4:30pm. The house is absolutely disgusting! The smell of animal waste was overwhelming in the 1st floor living area. You can tell the floors haven't been swept or even mopped in a very long time. I've never been on vacation where I've had to spend the 1st day cleaning until now. The washing machine are front loaders and smelled horribly of mildew. All the drains in the bathrooms were clogged, toilet seats broken, holes in the walls, animal waste in the vents, 2 TVs where not connected to anything and could not be used. Broken spindles on the railings (NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN)! If you have dust allergies definitely do not rent, my boyfriend was miserable with allergies inside the house! The pool area lounge chairs had sex tracks them!! Cigarette butts and beer cans not cleaned up. Before you think about renting from for Elliot Beach Rental ask yourself. How hard did you work for the $8000.00 you are about to hand over to them? Then go spend your money on something that is truly worth it! This would have been a wonderful vacation if ELLIOT actually did their job!!

Bad experience from beginning to end. We booked our Cherry Grove place for the 4th of July week in January to be told in February that work had to be done on the house that meant they had to move us, but they would let us know if it was done in time and we would get our ocean view. We reached out a couple of months later to hear it was still being worked on but they would let us know. Two days before our trip I call to find it was fixed but rented out to someone else. They could still offer us the downstairs unit without the view or move us into a hotel on another beach - a hotel that was rented for hundreds of dollars cheaper than we spent, not that they mentioned that. We had to fight tooth and nail for the right to the original place we reserved. They finally did the right thing and put us in the right unit, but that was a bad experience too. We rented Ocean Mist 3 and the place was FILTHY. There was black mold on the air vents, rust all over the fridge, and a general grime to all of the furniture and cookware. We were in a house divided into four apartments and there was not enough parking for all of the cars that were allowed, which means we got blocked in. The "no party" rule is obviously not adhered to because the people downstairs literally had a music system that bumped the bass so loudly the entire house shook. There was no grill and the laundry room was in a tiny, spider infested closet. In no way do I recommend this house (Ocean Mist) or this reality.

After booking and staying with Elliot Rentals for over 7 years, I am disheartened to say this year was beyond disappointing. I have never had issues while staying in your resorts, but this year came as a complete waste of money. The disregard for cleanliness, especially in the middle of a national pandemic, was unnerving. Upon my arrival of room 1202 in Beach Cove Resort, it was apparent that the room hadn't been cleaned since the last renters had departed. There were cough drops stuck to the floor with crumpled up wrappers under the bedroom furniture and both bedroom closets were left with other peoples belongings in them. The bathroom floor was left dirtied with used q-tips and mounds of sand, and the garbage had not been emptied. Upon opening the dishwasher, there were molded utensils, molded clumps of food, molded dinnerware, and a horrific smell. The garbage in the kitchen had also been left unemptied with a crusted brown liquid dried to the bottom and sides of it, which also left a terrible odor lurking in the kitchen and the accompanying laundry room closet, which housed a broken dryer. When renting a two bed-room you pay extra to have the washer/dryer advantage, so not only did I pay for the upgraded room, but I also paid to dry my clothes in the resorts dryers. Both showers in the room had issues maintaining water temperature and also didn't drain properly, leaving dirty water to pool and taking very long to clear. When these issues were brought to the attention of Elliot, I was met with a rude demeanor and attitude. The customer service representative proposed that I should 'just simply run the dishwasher to get rid of the mold, which would alleviate the smell'. I was also made aware that Elliot could not provide an estimated time on when a service person could be sent out to clean the room or fix the dryer. Beyond that, I would be charged a fee to have someone sent out and I must remain in the room the duration of the service call. The solution to my concerns, provided by the costumer service representative, was that I should clean the room myself. Now I have to spend money on cleaning supplies and waste my vacation time cleaning my room, which included a cleaning fee in the price of rental. The description of Beach Cove Resort provided by Elliot Realty was proven to be false advertisement. At the time of booking, I was expecting a beautiful beach front resort, with 3 hot tubs, 3 pools, and 1 lazy river. During our stay, only one hot tub was in working condition. The lazy river is said to have "fun buckets and light spraying misters", however there is nothing fun or gentle about them, you are getting blasted with high pressure water and pummeled with buckets of water and paint chips (the paint of the buckets is chipping away). There are no more than 8 tubes made available for floating, so there are many people swimming around without a tube, despite the signs stating you cannot enter without a tube and the multiple security guards that should be enforcing the rules, but were found sitting on their phones. Throughout the week we were there, pools remained closed in the morning hours because they were painting the pool deck; this should be done at an off hour when there is not a fully-booked resort looking for pool chairs or a place to swim. What came as the most bothersome oversight was the disregard for ADA regulations. I myself am handicapped and rely on the use of elevators and ramps. As advertised, Beach Cove offers beach access with a ramp. With the pool deck being painted and that area of the deck being closed, the only ramp was inoperable. In addition to the ramp closure, the elevators were extremely unreliable and felt unsafe. Although it is labeled as serviced and inspected in March, the elevator doors opened and closed randomly, would shake and often stop on floors that weren't being called for.   I was highly disappointed with my stay at Beach Cove Resort and the repugnant customer service that I received from Elliot Realty. I will attach photos to prove my concerns. My business with Elliot will most definitely come to an end and I refuse to recommend this company to anyone.

Small room, no where to put anything

Horrible company. Never again will I rent from them. Arrived at our condo and it had not been cleaned. We were told that we had until 7pm. 7pm came and still nothing. Called back and was on hold for 45 mins. Finally someone picked up and said they would send someone to clean. The cleaners finally came around 840pm. The condo still was dirty. The ceiling fans had dust all on them, the floors were still Sandy and dirty. The comforters on the beds had stains and the bar stool cushions were stained as well. The condo was listed as 3bd 2 bath and able to sleep up to 10. No freaking way. The master bedroom was large but that was it. The other 2 bedrooms were super small. They did not even have dressers and the TVs were 19inch so you could barely see them. I know the size of the condo is not Elliot's fault but they should List the sizes of the rooms and the sizes of the TVs. Also they need to do a better job of inspecting their listings. The roku remote battery had exploded so you could not get the back off to change the batteries, the light was burnt out in one bedroom, and the cable box was not working. Also, the condo unit itself is run down. Lights were hanging off the side of the building, the pool door is broken with the glass broken and the cigarette holder outside apparently hadn't been emptied in a year, due to about 100 cigarettes floating in water ( I don't smoke but it's hard to miss due to having to walk by it ) . Never again will I stay with Elliott and their rude staff!

Based on our…read moreexperience, I would not recommend this company to anyone but especially anyone that has a luxury property. In a little over one year the company provided us with four different agents. Some had never seen or visited our property.  At one point, they actually used pictures of a totally unrelated property on our listing and had no clue when we expressed concerns of which photos were from a different building. The very first Customer they assigned to our property was using a fraudulent credit card. They gave her the access code before ever confirming the payment. After she was there the second day and provided multiple fraudulent credit cards they evicted her. However, they never got a deposit so we missed out on a week of rentals during the peak of the summer. They took no accountability whatsoever. About a month later, we recognized that they had dropped our listing prices by 50% in the height of Rental season. When confronted no one could tell me who did it. They reversed the Rental price on the listing but again took no accountability and I just had to eat the losses. They later dropped it 50% again and acted surprised when we expressed concern that they were competent. Later, they had a contractor inspect our windows and he purposely manufactured damage to every frame in the house in order to solicit work. When I responded, they told me the property was already like that. Luckily, we had just visited the property the day before and had video and photographic evidence showing otherwise. They did fix all the damage, but never took accountability whatsoever. The owner named ANDY never responded to us, even though his service department directed us to him. We experienced a ton of damage / theft to our unit that they never made us aware of and never took accountability for.We only offer our unit during four months of the summer. In those four months we lost approximately $26,000 in revenue compared to our prior property management group and our average for the previous four years. I can't think of a single aspect of our experience that I would rate positively.

Unfortunately, over the past few years, we've noticed a significant decline. Cleanliness has become a recurring issue. We've had to call housekeeping back multiple times because the initial cleaning was not done well. This past year, there was hair on the toilet paper holder, visible dust in several areas, and the indoor glass tables looked like they were wiped with harsh cleaners, leaving them streaky and cloudy. In the past, if something wasn't right, we could call and it would be taken care of quickly and professionally. This year felt very different. The hot tub was broken, and instead of a straightforward apology or resolution, the issue seemed to be brushed off. We also had random sheets placed in our elevator that we didn't request, which added to the confusion. What was most disappointing was that when my mom left a review on their site, parts of it were altered and the negative feedback was removed--even though she still gave a generous 4-star rating. As long-time renters, it's frustrating to see the quality and customer service go downhill like this. We've made many great memories over the years, but we hope to see improvements moving forward.

WORST VACATION RENTAL EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD -- READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING WITH ELLIOTT BEACH…read moreRENTALS We paid more than $2,600 for a vacation rental through Elliott Beach Rentals. What should have been the beginning of our vacation became nearly two days of documenting problems, making calls, waiting for assistance, and dealing with cleaning ourselves. This was not a minor housekeeping issue. THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 At 1:00 p.m., we were texted that the rental was ready. At 1:45 p.m., the office told us it was not ready. We returned closer to 3:00 p.m. When we entered, we were shocked by the condition. At 3:08 p.m., I contacted Elliott Beach Rentals. Their representative apologized, acknowledged the condition, asked for photographs, and said a re-cleaning team could be sent. Beginning around 3:24 p.m., I sent photographs documenting: * Mold around shower windows, doors, corners, and bathroom areas * Hair in the shower * Dirty bathroom tile * Food caked inside the oven * Broken glass on the floor * Cracked refrigerator shelves and water inside drawers * Dirty rugs and towels * Filthy light switches * Fingerprints and film covering sliding glass doors * Dead bugs and hair on doorknobs * Potato chips underneath the television * Ceiling fans so dirty that dust flew through the room when turned on * Food, cereal, dirt, and hair in the master bed * Used feminine hygiene products underneath the master bathroom cabinetry At 4:00 p.m., I asked if we could be moved. We had paid more than $2,600 and did not believe we should have to spend our vacation cleaning a condominium that was supposed to have been professionally cleaned and inspected. I was told a re-cleaning team would be sent and management would address the situation. At 4:32 p.m., I was told management had already gone home and would not be available until 8:00 a.m. the following morning. We were left in the condominium with the documented problems and no manager available. I requested a refund of the cleaning and inspection fees because the condition indicated those services had not been adequately performed. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 At 9:01 a.m., we still had no call from management and no cleaning team. At 10:25 a.m., we were told the re-clean had been entered. At 2:11 p.m., we were still waiting; housekeeping was running behind. At 2:36 p.m., we were finally told a housekeeper named Ronnie was on the way. When he arrived, the work order was incomplete and did not include all the problems we had documented. Ronnie also told us cleaning the food from our bed was not his responsibility. We were approaching 24 hours after reporting the condition. Eventually, two cleaners were sent to sweep and mop. I explained that sweeping and mopping did not address the extensive problems we had documented and said I was going to speak with management about the incomplete work order. The cleaners left. We did not refuse cleaning services. They left while I went to speak with management. When I attempted to speak with Nicole, the manager, I found the office locked. Nicole later told me I should not have turned the cleaners away. That is not what happened. After nearly two days of trying to get the rental properly cleaned, I was also told to "calm down." We paid thousands for a rental that was supposed to be ready. Instead, we spent our vacation documenting problems, making calls, sending photographs, waiting for assistance, and trying to obtain the service we had already paid for. THE MANAGEMENT RESPONSE The condition was unacceptable, but the management response was equally disappointing. We reported the problems immediately, sent photographs, requested assistance, waited for cleaning and management, and repeatedly followed up when nobody arrived. Eventually, Nicole stopped taking my calls and communicating directly with me. My husband ultimately spoke with Kyle, who was presented to us as corporate management. We received $600 in compensation. I appreciate that, but it does not change that we paid more than $2,600 for a rental that was not properly cleaned or ready for occupancy. WARNING TO FUTURE GUESTS If you are considering Elliott Beach Rentals, do your research before booking. Read recent reviews carefully and ask what happens if you arrive at a property that is not actually ready for occupancy. This was far more than a minor housekeeping issue: we documented mold, hair, dirt, food, dead bugs, broken glass, damaged refrigerator components, filthy surfaces, and used feminine hygiene products inside the condominium. We reported these conditions immediately, yet spent the following day waiting for a cleaning crew and repeatedly contacting the company. Our vacation became nearly two days of dealing with cleaning problems and management. For us, this was the worst vacation rental experience we have ever had. We paid for a clean, inspected vacation rental. That is not what we received. We will never use Elliott Beach Rentals again.

Even though I completed all of the online pre-registration beforehand, I had to repeat the entire process at the front desk because they couldn't find any record of it. The line was long, instructions were minimal, and parking was confusing. Both towers park in the Indigo garage, and you have to use the third-floor walkway to get to the other tower--information that wasn't clearly explained. The room itself was the biggest disappointment. The layout is incredibly long and narrow and honestly just... odd. The master bedroom shares a wall with the public hallway, and because we were close to the elevator, we heard people talking at all hours. It felt more like sleeping in a hallway than a bedroom. The furnishings are badly overdue for an update. The furniture feels worn out, the closet door came off its track when opened, the master sink barely drained, the safe battery was dead (maintenance had to replace it), and the sheets felt like sandpaper. There were no USB charging ports or convenient outlets like you find in just about every hotel these days. The "kitchen" is really just a mini fridge (without a freezer), microwave, sink, toaster, coffee maker, and blender. Then the layout gets even stranger. The living room has a sofa bed, but there were no pillows and only one set of sheets stored in the master closet. Meanwhile, the second bathroom connected to the living room is enormous--with dual vanities, a huge shower, and a Jacuzzi tub--while the master bathroom is the size of a basic Holiday Inn bathroom. The whole setup feels backwards. The ocean and pool view was beautiful, but the room itself felt like a design that never figured out what it wanted to be. One of my biggest frustrations was the housekeeping policy. We were charged a daily housekeeping fee (nearly $30 per day), yet the paperwork says they don't actually provide housekeeping. The first two days no one even came until I called. When they finally did, they simply emptied the trash and left a couple of clean towels on the counter. Charging a daily housekeeping fee without providing daily housekeeping feels misleading. To top it off, the only proactive phone call we received during our stay wasn't to see if everything was okay--it was someone trying to sell us a "timeshare". There are also no ice machines in the tower and no front desk staff nearby if you need assistance, so every issue requires contacting the separate check-in building. For the price we paid (roughly $500+ per night after resort fees, housekeeping fees, marketing fees, and taxes), I expected a much more polished experience. Instead, it felt dated, confusing, and overpriced. The ocean view was lovely, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to make up for everything else. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

Our unit in Tower 2 was spacious (especially when there were only 4 of us), and had everything that we needed and was clean. We especially appreciated the fully-stocked full kitchen with generous pantry space, having a washer and dryer in the unit, and the jacuzzi in the main bedroom (which we under-utilized!). The beds were comfortable, and had high quality linens. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the unit as our ocean view was limited (although you could see the ocean, beach, and one of the pools from our balcony). For instance, we would've gone to the Sunday evening "Karaoke Welcome Party" at the fire pit, but we weren't aware. We DID enjoy the "Hula Fire Show" a few nights later. A few other random points. (1) Parking could be challenging if it's important to you to have parking close to your unit. If not, there's plentiful parking (and a free shuttle, which we didn't utilize) behind Tower 4. We were able to get parking in Tower 2 most evenings, except one evening when we got back late. (2) we were surprised that the concierge did have discount tickets to the shows in Myrtle Beach that we wanted to attend. (3) we would stay here again, but probably wouldn't pay extra again for a higher floor.

We stayed here as we were in Myrtle Beach for a family reunion. Check in starts at 4 pm which is…read morepretty late; however, they can hold your luggage for you, if needed. We instead kept our luggage with family who arrived days earlier, so I can't comment on that process. After completing our check in, we were told to walk over to the concierge desk to receive our welcome packet. It immediately became clear that they were instead promoting a type of timeshare disguised as discounts/coupons. The oceanfront rooms are spacious as it includes a living room with a sofa and murphy bed, a full kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, utensils, pots/pans, etc. There is also a washer and dryer in the condo. Our rooms were not cleaned daily, possibly on an every other day schedule. We had to request the bathroom to be cleaned thoroughly by leaving a note for housekeeping which was indeed addressed by the time we returned to our room. Overall, the rooms were clean, well maintained. The elevators stopped working multiple times during our stay or would stall while we were inside the elevator. The staff were all very pleasant and the bellhops would use some "muscle" to make sure the doors would close. This is a newer hotel, so that was a bit surprising although I recognize they have a lot of traffic. The gift shop was pretty empty as far as essentials and gifts. I did enjoy the restaurants onsite, and I would recommend prepaying for the breakfast when you book. I did have to return to guest services the next morning since they did not provide me with the tickets we would need for each breakfast. I enjoyed the easy beach access, and also they have several pools for both the kids and adults. Our condo was a corner room which had a partial view of the ocean from the living room and a view of the street from the bedroom which wasn't the best since our bedroom was located right next to these large HVAC units. On one morning, we looked outside our bedroom balcony and saw a person working on one of the units. Imagine opening up the curtains and seeing someone outside of your room where I could not immediately identify him as Avista resort staff. I reported this to guest services and was told that our room could not be changed since they were completed sold out. Alternatively, the manager stated she will tell the staff to notify us prior to working outside of our bedroom. I felt like I spent more time trying to explain why this was especially troubling for me and left that conversation feeling disappointed in the "resolution" thinking more could have been done to ensure we felt comfortable during our stay. Also, the pictures on their website should accurately depict what the view actually looks like from the bedroom if choosing a corner room. Check out is at 11 am and went pretty smoothly. You can communicate with guest services via text throughout your stay including notifying when you have left the room. If my family chose to stay here again, I would definitely not book the corner view.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Good value. The pool area has early am maintenance but I found the amount of food discarded around the pool, a bit unsettling. Easy access to the beach
