He gave me the choice of waiting for Monday to do the repairs, or pay the additional emergency charge and have them come out right away. I opted for the right away and was glad I did. Tony plus two others arrived around 4PM and by 7PM everything was replaced and back to normal. When I asked him how long he anticipated such a job might take, he said between two and four hours. I suspect that his high end timeline was probably an overestimate, but even at four hours, that worked out to over 400.00/hr. At two hours, it was twice that. I asked how an electrician could justify that fee and was told he didn't set the fees. I told him I totally understood, paid the service charge and sent him on his was.
