I received bills for things that team members explicitly told me were not going to cost me money. If anyone comes into your room to give you something, tell them to shove it. If they schedule you to with the OT team here, push it back a couple weeks ago so you don't end up going only to find out you aren't recovered enough to start. This group even has their sales people dress in scrubs so you'll assume they are care providers. University Orthopedics is not a place you to go to get your injuries healed, it's a place you go to to lose trust in doctors. I would recommend going anywhere else so you don't end up feeling as stupid as I do for trusting them.

I waited an entire month for my initial appointment, and after three weeks of consistent sessions with an excellent physical therapist, I attempted to re-book only to find that my therapist was fully booked for the next six weeks. It is disappointing that the office does not provide scheduling priority for existing patients who are already in active treatment. This is unfortunate, as the physical therapist I worked with was exceptional and dedicated.

I recently had to get a Covid test prior to a flight and a negative result no longer than 48 hours prior to arrival was necessary. Since the flight was 19 hours that left a very short window. I contacted Dr. Cunningham and had a test scheduled within the hour and the results back the next morning.

Horrible experience. Only one Physical Therapist, Laurie, the owner, who I saw for my very quick 20…read moreminute evaluation. I asked if she would be my therapist but she said Jeannine would be. Jeannine is not a Physical Therapist, she is an PT Assistant. I didn't know this nor did Laurie disclose that information. Months went by and I wasn't making progress, had no new exercises, and wasn't getting any questions answered. Jeannine didn't know how to answer questions I had. I didn't realize til recently she was an assistant. The practice also closed down when Jeannine was on vacation as she primarily takes all appointments and Laurie does not. An "assistant" is supposed to be supervised by the PT and Laurie was never there at any of my appointments, Jeannine was completely alone. My doctors office was surprised when I told them what Jeannine did for treatment and told me to immediately change my PT location! The business actually set me back on recovery and wasted my time and money, and I am trying to go back to work and walking. If you have something minor than maybe they will be "ok" for you, if you have Laurie, maybe you will be fine, but if you have Jeannine you are paying for a PT who is not a PT but an assistant that is supposed to be supervised and if Laurie is not around and you see no improvement or feel like you get a blank stare when you ask a question and there is no answer, then you will know it's time to make a change. I am not one to write many reviews but I had to. My fault for not checking the location, number of therapists, etc. before I booked appointments here.
