As a result, patients are being advised to make sure a facility is safe and personnel are trained and certified. When I asked about safety, machine maintenance, and staff qualifications, Cheryl was defensive and hung up on me. HBOT can be great but is also a dangerous medical treatment with risks. There are NO medical personnel, no one certified in HBOT care at this facility. She said, "we fly under the radar". I was really freaked out by her demeanor and defensiveness.

I will be contacting the medical licensing board about these 2 workers and also because they refused to treat me because of a problem I was having with an unna boot which my skin was having a painful reaction to. "Do no harm" they say, but I'm not sure these workers were licensed nurses. I never saw their licenses in full view, as is the law.

She told me that "many Christian groups believe this" so I asked her if she was really saying that because of her religion, I could not go see a fertility doctor. She did not recommend any other doctor, just told me I would have to find another provider. She is absolutely archaic and doing a disservice to all women.
