The worker told me that the previous Performance owner was stealing these systems from Mexico and installing them in the houses and they didn't have warranties. Also told me that the system I had was discontinued, couldn't get parts, couldn't get the Freon for it. And that I had to buy a new system at $20,000. He also told me that even if the system was still under warranty that because of their new license number, they would not be able to service it. I called the company Daikin) that made the system. Everything the service person told me was a lie. My system, Not discontinued, has a 12 year warranty and is still under warranty with Daikin. Daikin has all the parts and they were fairly upset to hear of the situation. Do not trust these scammers. This business is done.
