I had a friend drop me off. On Monday I called around 1:00 to check to see if my vehicle was ready. Stephen told me it would be ready in a "couple of hours". I asked so if I come around 3:30 it should be ready. He said yes. At 3:00 when I got home I called again expecting my car would be ready and I wanted to get the price so I could bring enough cash. Stephen again answered and told me "it was the next one in the bay". They close at 5:00. The last thing I wanted was a rushed job. Plus I felt lied to. There are many other shops that can replace brakes in my area. I will avoid this shop in the future and save myself time and frustration. Plus I don't want anyone rushing to get my car ready. After I got my key from the office I caught Shal to explain my disappointment after I took so much time to get this vehicle dropped off and picked up by another friend. Neither he nor anyone in the office seemed apologetic nor care that they didn't get my car ready as they said. Too bad so sad was their attitude. A friend referred me over to Steve's Service Center of Knoxville. A day before taking the vehicle to Steve's, the engine through a rod and caught fire destroying the wiring harness. I had it towed to Steve's Service Center where I was told the wrong engine type was placed in the vehicle which was the cause of all the issues. Steve's had my engine replace with the proper engine under warranty and replaced the wiring harness. The fact that the issues were properly diagnosed helped to covered all the costs. The vehicle runs perfect now! I would not take my vehicle anywhere else or trust my vehicle with anyone but these folks. They know what they are doing and they are honest and trust worthy. I spent four years taking this vehicle from one mechanics to another with no results to resolve the real issue. Best Customer Service - Quick turn over time - Did not over charge for work performed - Very Professional - Inspected entire vehicle including proper tire inflation.
