I called his office first thing in the morning, and after talking to the doctor, they called me back saying they could squeeze us in today. Again, very grateful for being so sensitive during this stressful time. The new office is beautiful and clean. The office has always been very timely. The staff is always pleasant. I really like that they will almost always be able to fit me into the schedule at my soonest availability. If someone is not available to answer the phone right away, I will get a call back from an advice nurse. That is a fantastic help to me. We have seen almost all the Pediatricians who practice at this office. I find that they generally are great about spending time with the patient and answering all my parent questions. I never feel pressured by the doctors about our medical decisions.

It was tough going from the only doctors they had ever known to a bran new facility, but we did what we had to do. Getting an appointment was easy, the receptionists aren't overly warm, but I didn't have any rude behaviors or mask drama like many people have reported. They do still require all patients to wear masks, and when we forget them they quietly hand us all a mask and we go in. The office is older but clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are clean and always stocked which is nice. They don't have books or toys which isn't an issue for me, but for parents looking for distractions you might want to pack a few. There is a fun fish tank in each office to keep little eyes entertained while you sign in or fill out paperwork. Our kids have seen Dr Turner who I was pleasantly surprised with. She was calm and had a very welcoming demeanor which made it easier for my kids to warm up to. She took her time listening to them and addressing the concerns they had. We never felt rushed or unheard in her presence. On one occasion my son thought it would be funny to put a piece of fake dog poop on the chair as a prank. When she walked in she totally rolled with it and was so silly with him. She scored extra points for that!! She places orders quickly and is easy to contact which is also really nice. All of the nurses/LVNs have been amazing. They take their time and really practice patient centered care. One nurse even did breathing exercises with my daughter when she was panicked. It was beautiful to see and warmed my momma heart. One issue I did have, which is why I removed a star, is there don't seem to be any systems in place for victims of abuse. This is very concerning especially when children might be accompanied by an abuser and they are unable to advocate for themselves with the person in the room. Other than that I recommend this place.

He really takes his time with each of his patients and you can tell he genuinely cares about each and every family he sees. We opted into the concierge program and it is the best decision we have ever made. The ability to text Dr Kar when we have a medical concern after hours or on weekends is invaluable. It is worth every penny and has come in handy countless times. Our son had a life threatening illness in 2024 that multiple specialists overlooked, and Dr Kar is the only reason he was able to get admitted and into surgery. He was a critical voice for us at CHOC when we needed an advocate to push for treatment, coordinate care among specialists, and get prescriptions and home health services figured out. I genuinely do not know what would have happened had we not had Dr Kar on our side. No one ever wants to be in a situation where their child has a life threatening medical condition but if you find yourself there like we did, Dr Kar will be in your court 100%.

I addressed 6 concerns (I think or more) and he only commented on 3. As a new mom, if you're asking about my concerns and I mention 6 concerns, please address ALL SIX even if the answer is "this is normal," but he chose to pick the 3 out of the 6 and gave me the most generic quick responses and then the appointment quickly ended. I was waiting for an answer about the continuous redness down in his mid area but it wasn't addressed until I spoke up AFTER he tried to end the appointment lol. To add to this, the nurse doing the vaccines comes in with my next appointment slip, she doesn't say a single word about my next appointment and places the slip on the exam table and proceeds with the vaccines. Like what? am I supposed to assume that slip is for me?? Simple customer service response could be, "here is a reminder for your next appointment." WILD. Once the appointment ended, I shared my feedback to the checkin nurse and left the slip on the exam table because I knew I wasn't coming back.. As for any business, at least show your patients some level of customer service or maybe interpersonal skills esp if its your business lol. Fake it if you have to. I switched peds and its been night and day and I can tell the new ped is much more careful and thorough during our visits. Business is business I guess.

We showed up 30min before our appointment time. They have a waiting room for sick kids and one for non sick patients. Plenty of books and toys for kids. Staff is friendly and efficient. We were called back within 10min of getting there. We saw I believe dr Wong, who was very friendly caring to our baby girl. He answered all of our questions. He even informed of us of a routine blood test they do around this age which our previous physician never did. They validate parking and very clean office. Night and day difference to our previous dr office. We are very happy to be using this office for our baby!

We've been coming here since my son's birth mostly out of convenience. However, today, we have been waiting since 8am for a well visit appointment scheduled for 8:15am. It is now 9:15 and there is still no sign of Dr. Bennett. Per the staff, they have been unable to reach him by phone and he is not yet in the building. I surely hope he is OK, but this is not the first time this has happened. In the past, I have seen him walk past me in the waiting room for his first appointment of the day. There was also at least one scheduled appointment (not the first of the day) I had with him where he ran more than 3 hours late. As a healthcare professional myself, I find the consistent lack of professionalism appalling. As the working mom of a toddler with another on the way, I straight up don't have time for that. The nursing staff and supervisor are wonderful here, and I can't speak as to any of the other providers who practice out of this location-- this review is purely a reflection on my experience with Dr. Bennett. With that said, I am finding a new physician for my son (and second child) asap-- hopefully one who will respect my family's time.

We got a phone call from the front desk confirming the nature of the appointment, but when we showed up they said we needed to wait another week to give her the second dose. What was the point of the phone call to confirm the appointment if she wasnt going to be able to receive the medication? Then they billed me for the appointment! I took my daughter back the following week and they had us waiting for 40 minutes past our appointment time. My daughter was 8 months at the time. They had multiple patients be seen before my daughter that checked in after us. I had to ask to be seen for them to take my daughter back for her shot. Fast forward to her 1 yr check up we arrived 2 mins past the 15 minute grace period and the office admin turned us away. I explained to her that one of their elevators was broken so we waited for the next available one, but she was so rude and told us that she just couldn't fit us in anymore. She seemed to enjoy turning us away and didn't have any warmth.
