Finally made it back to Elly's. This visit didn't disappoint at all! I got the Friday night special, the Cheesesteak. It was awesome! Chunks of steak, grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese. All piled in a fresh hoagie roll. I use Ranch Dressing on mine, with a side of yummy, crunchy, skin on fries. They do not skimp on meat, awesome sandwich. Our first visit to Elly's was for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Our server, Lauren was very friendly. The breakfast was good and was priced accordingly. Coffee was only $2 which wasn't bad albeit it was not very warm when served. But if you are in a hurry and looking to get in and out, I wouldn't suggest going there on a Sunday Morning. From the time we arrived until the time when our order was served, it was 45 minutes. A simple breakfast meal doesn't take any more than 10 minutes to prepare - especially when there was no one else in the dining area waiting on a meal. Maybe they were waiting for the chicken to lay the eggs or else the cook slept in? They open at 8am and we arrived at 10am so it wasn't like we arrived shortly after they opened. We will be back again sometime; it just won't be for a weekend breakfast. read more

I've given this place a try 4 different times. First time was taco Tuesday. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Once seated, the waitress handed us our menus and then about 15 minutes went by before she came back to take our orders. Once our orders were taken it took around 15-20 minutes for the food to come out. Once the food was dropped off, the waitress never came back again. We had to go over to the bar area to get our check. 2nd time. We went for their Saturday brunch. There was a musician there and the place was pretty busy. There were about 4 different wait staff the staffing issue wasn't the problem. The wait times from order the food. To getting the food and then to getting our checks. Our food was cold when we got it. The eggs were all cooked wrong and the hashbrowns here not cooked all the way. That visit from the time we were sat until the time we left was over 2 hours. So we did not ask for our food to be remade because it took so long for it to come our the first time. 3rd time, went to the bar area with a friend. Service there was fast. The fried zucchini was bland. But the wings were excellent. So went again today. A party of 5 for brunch. Same experience as the last time I went there for brunch. This time one member of our party returned their food and just asked for a refund. It saddens me very much that this place is a totally flop because it's a great location and set up. read more

I've been wanting to try the new Elly's since they opened up a few weeks ago in the place where Beechie's used to be, and we finally had the chance tonight. The parking lot was jam packed but we were seated right away, as the dining room was pretty empty. They had a special list which included crab cakes, lobster bisque, and 4 burgers, but they were out of crab cakes and bisque. We ordered the pretzels and fried provolone, and for entrees i got the fish sandwich and my brother got the elly's signature sandwich. Food took a little while considering how empty the dining room side was but the wait was no problem. The apps however came out with our food and not beforehand which isn't optimal. They also accidentally gave us an order of fried zucchini which we didn't order but weren't charged for so win for us! Out of the apps, the pretzels with beer cheese were by far my favorite but still nothing to write home about. The fish sandwich is definitely huge, but it comes on a burger bun. The bun was good- tasted like bread works maybe- but was too small for the sandwich; a hoagie bun would be much better in my opinion. The sandwich was ok, most of the breading flaked off but the fish itself was good and mild. The fresh cut fries were seasoned nicely but seemed a little undercooked. None of our food was hot- it wasn't cold, but it was slightly warmer than room temp and tasted like it had been sitting under a hot lamp. I had a bite of my brother's signature sandwich which had roast beef, egg, coleslaw, and fries which I liked but again it wasn't hot at all. Our server was very nice but service was a little slow- she may have been busy on the bar side. I was charged $1 for ranch I didn't get- and didn't end up needing since I didn't eat many fries- but I ended up asking for extra tartar so it balanced out. Prices are a little high- for two apps, two sandwiches, and a mixed drink our bill was $68 before tip. Apps were $11 each. I was not wow-ed by the food for the price. The whole experience was just pretty mediocre- not bad by any means but certainly not excellent either. There are a lot of TVs to watch sports which is nice and there seems to be plenty of seating. The bar was jumping when we left and they seem to have nice happy hour deals. I would for sure come back in the future for happy hour or once they expand their menu and get settled a little bit more- they haven't even been open a month yet. I heard good things about their Wings so I came to taste for myself. I did standard "hot" wings. The wings I had will stand up to any wings in the area. I will eat them again. I had a side salad with Creamy blue cheese; the salad was fresh with a nice mix of extras. The service was outstanding and food came in a timely fashion. The dining room was simple but very clean. I suspect this will become a regular place for me... I just saw some awesome sandwiches delivered to the next table! read more

Great place for drinks, appetizers and a meal. We started with the garlic parm fried pierogies and soooo good! The pepperoni meatball sandwich was different choice and glad I tried so much flavor and served on garlic bread. Also had the Cuban which my fiance was skeptical but so pleased once he tasted it. Definitely be back to try more. read more

Plain looking restaurant inside but the food was excellent and a good price.I got a bacon chicken wrap.It was loaded with chicken and melted cheese.It was not dry Liike a lot of wraps are.My daughter got soup and salad and said both were really good.Waiter was very nice and he was there alone.It took time to get our food but he was very attentive.I would go back.They had many big screen tv's for sports watching. read more

Stopped here last night with a table of 9. The waitress was very efficient taking orders from everybody quickly. Big glasses of draft beer were only $5 which is par for the area. My issue was the price. I don't think $17.95 for a fish sandwich is justifiable. And to top it off there was a mandatory 20% gratuity added. read more

We tried Elly's again and figured they have improved from when they first opened. They have improved, but things still weren't like the old Beechie's as most remember. Our server was polite, but the advertising for $2.50 domestic beers should have included Michelob Ultra or we should have been informed because when we got our bill, the IC Lights were priced right, but the Ultras were not! When questioning our bill, a manager came over and said the sign should have read "select domestics". Ok, but it doesn't so we might have ordered something else if we known. Thought maybe an adjustment to our bill would be made, but nope! The sign still read the same as we left, $2.50 Domestics, I just hope others don't get taken like we did. Ordered the tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. There was not any seasoning on the beef, 3 out of the 4 tacos did not have any lettuce or tomato, and the sour cream was forgotten. Tara is extremely rude and because she is shacking up with the boss, she thinks she can treat customers like crap. A shot was bought for my bf who said he was not doing shots anymore (our agreement), so I took it from him and she got angry and said someone else bought it for him and I had no business slurping it up. He wasn't complaining, so she shouldn't get nasty over it and threaten to kick me out. She proceeds to tell me she is going to 86 me and I told her I really didn't care, then she takes my beer and dumps it. Wow such a bad ass! Psychopath! I will not be back until they get rid of the rude bartenders such as her and she is ruining the establishment. Just because she is screwing the boss, doesn't make you the boss.
