I was very disappointed when I went to Dr.Ellysons office. Nobody was social distancing nobody was wearing masks. Not even staff. I was sitting there filling out paperwork and a man without a mask sat down right next to me and there was plenty of room for him to sit elsewhere. I got up and moved across the room. And saw more people filing in and out nobody wearing a mask. Nobody social distancing. Very concerning. Especially during a pandemic. I will not be returning here. When I called and told them why I left and voiced my concerns they didn't seem to care. read more

Dr. David Ellyson is an amazing chiropractor! And, Katie, the massage therapist is awesome as well! In July 2011, I was rear ended while at a stop, the other car was doing 50MPH and never hit the breaks. As a runner, I was devastated as I had my first half marathon in only 6 weeks. On top of that, I had plans to go to Hawai'i only 4 weeks after the accident. I continued appointments and treatment with Ellyson Chiropractic and, while not 100%, was able to still do both. I couldn't hike Diamond Head as I wanted, and I had to walk a few miles on the marathon--but the fact I could do any of it was a feat! I love, LOVE, LOVE, how they adjust here--not with tools or instruments, but their own body weight to manipulate my body into correct placement. I always felt like a million bucks after walking out.... oh and it didn't cost a million either! In fact, I find their services VERY reasonably priced, dare I say a steal. (Especially if you're military--they offer a discount.) Another added bonus... they take walk in appointments. read more

Went here for the first time in June 2020 on four different visits.... loved the doctors, as they were very in depth and very nice.... but my review as of today has to do with the billing. I never paid any attention to what I was being billed till October 2, 2020 when they put an unauthorized charge to my card. I called on Monday October 5, 2020 with no call back, so I made a visit to them. Needless to say I wasted more time dealing with these idiots. They overcharged me every single visit I came here. My co-pay is $15.00, and they are charging me 33.00, 22.00 every time I go in. Something doesn't add up. Basically what they are doing is illegal practices and insurance fraud. They are charging the customers upfront for the copay and coinsurance so they don't have to bill later! They have overcharged me 80.00 thus far, not to mention unauthorized charges to my credit card! I had a referral that was going into this office on Thursday, and I told them to STAY FAR, FAR away and take the business somewhere else! I don't mind paying for something I used or asked for, but trying to pull one over on someone is TERMS for me! Crazy front desk people that clearly don't know what they are doing, or don't care OR BOTH! read more

I haven't received treatment yet but have only been through the "new patient" portion of the visit. I was put off first by the appearance of the office waiting area. Very cluttered and filled with old 80's furniture that was totally uncomfortable. The chair I sat in was broken and the springs or cushion was shot and hurt my back..yeah go figure for a chiro office (job security). the place was filled with 1980's thrift store decor and was dusty. when I finally got in to my new patient exam the younger chunky guy "testing" me made me feel real uncomfortable. he then followed behind me after my X-rays and proceeded to rub my shoulders (not a part of the exam by any means) as I walked back to the exam room. He gave me the creeps. the pre-exam exam was pretty hoaky, with closing your eyes and a jar put up,to my nose.."what do you smell?" "cinnamon" "right" whatever! what does this have to do with my stiff neck from the stress I've been under? I could never understand why people in any medical field look like they're in worse condition than the people trying to get well. well if creepy boy is there again and is doing the back cracking I'm not going back. Today I called to postpone my ACTUAL back appointment. I found out that it was a Dr. Oliver who started rubbing my shoulders in the hallway on the way from x-ray back to the exam room. I'm not comfortable with any non- treatment touching and so I'm waiting to maybe make an appointment with Dr. Ellyson instead. Stay tuned. read more

Love this place! Was a new patient due to a car accident and they got me and my wife in right away, took x-rays, went over x-rays and explained what was out of place and fixed us up. Very professional, kind and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. My wife has fibromyalgia and thought she would be sensitive to traditional chiropractic adjustments and usually goes to a doctor who uses and actuator tool cause she thought it was the only way it could be done with the pain she has.
