Although Dr. Eib has reduced his hours as he is getting older, he is absolutely worth it. Our dobie has been seeing him since he was 8 weeks and I have always had full confidence in our visit. He answers my questions, tells me what I need to know. Kesha, his vet tech has also always been amazing. I hate seeing the comments here that Dr. Eib is rude. I promise he is not! He is truly just a German to his core and is no nonsense. With short hours, I think he truly just tries to get people in and out as sometimes they can be really busy! Don't take it personal, your fur baby truly is in the best hands. Soak up Dr. Eib while he is still practicing!

Dr. Ned and Keysha did a fantastic job on the whole process of the surgery and recovery. The recovery took 4 months and is worth the wait. They're professionals and they know what they're doing and follow their protocol. Highly recommended if you want your dogs ears to be cropped. # miniature pinscher

Day 1

After getting Rip (our doberman puppy) I called all around looking for a reputable ear cropping vet. After making calls to multiple veterinarians, I decided to go with Elm because of their great explanation about the procedure. The only down fall was a 2 hour drive each way. I am so happy that I made that decision. Dr. Eib was our first contact, and he was very kind. Then Keysha his assistant called us back to the exam room and went over everything about the cropping procedure. I felt very confident that he was in good hands. I was glad that they didn't take my puppy to the back and leave me in a room waiting to talk to the vet. That seems to be the normal procedure with vets these days. They kept Rip overnight (which no other vets do this that I spoke to), and the next morning I picked him up. Since the surgery I have returned to Fresno for his follow up ear wraps. I also had Dr. Eib administer the vaccination shots and I will keep him as our Vet for all of our dogs needs. I will continue to travel 2 hours each way. It is worth the long drive knowing the care he will receive. Each visit I have seen other happy dobermans in and out of this office. I appreciate their customer support and their love of animals. You don't find animal doctors like this one very often.

This is our girl Luna!! Thanks again!

Best ear cropping & service ever! I've been going to Dr Eib since I was a little girl. I remember going with my dad when we had bulldogs & boxers. Now that I have my own Doberman I've taken her to see him for all her shots & medication for the passed 7 years. Dr Eib & his staff are friendly & very knowledgeable of your pets needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! (:

Her mid crop

Honestly I couldn't be more appreciative to them. With our first dobie, we were struggling to find a place to take him in to do the crop. We had to do it at 13 weeks for him bc American vet was a complete joke and kept playing games. The second we called elm vet, they were amazing and were able to squeeze us into the schedule! They were really supportive and responsive throughout the whole posting and healing process. We were able to message Kiesha regarding any questions and she was amazing throughout it all. When we got our second dobie there was no doubt in our minds we wanted them to do the crop again. They both turned out great! Highly recommend this place for all your dobie needs!!

I took my puppy Trixie pretty late in age for this process to get her ears taken care of, but they turned out incredible. I'm so happy with the service, care, and outcome during this time. It took about 5-6 months but it was worth it! Thank you Keisha and Dr. Eib.

I love bringing my dogs here. The vet is very honest with the way he feels about treatment and tells you when he feels like something is not necessary. I have blood work and vaccinations done every year and he never tries to force anything extra.

Pretty friendly in a sketchy location. Staff is friendly and very knowledagble. Took great care of my pup and have an appointment to get his ears cropped. Have buddies that came here and the doc does amazing work. I would highly suggest to everyone make sure to make an appointment they are usually busy. Can't wait for all my other doggies. Ask the Community - Elm Veterinary Hospital

Do you guys offer ear cropping?

What's the average cost for ear cropping?

It's $650 dog has to be under 30 pounds. It's hard to reach them on the phone. But I went in to make my appointment.

How do you make an appointment ? I've called Over and over the past week and it keeps saying the line is busy.

You have to leave a voice-mail for them to call you back.

Our first experience was with Greta in July of 2023. 16.5 year old Greta was giving us the heads up that she was ready to go. Dr. Gary came in and Greta went peacefully across the rainbow bridge. Greta's brother Wesley, made it to 17.5 years. Ands just has his sister. He moved on peacefully with the help of Dr. Gary. Bella. Our big girl. Still jumping in the couch and chasing the rc car all the way up to a couple weeks ago. In just three days. She stopped eating and was giving us those eyes that we have seen to often non the last year. I am sure Wesley was calling her to walk with him along the mystical canal. Bella. Also just short of 17 years. Not the most touchy feely girl. She came and laid down on the bed where Dr. Gary and I were sitting. All three are together now.

I said no, she already passed and I still had her body in my arms and was calling about cremation services and how much it would cost. The person on the other line went silent. I kept saying hello, hello for awhile, but realized they disconnected the call. We went to Cedar Veterinary instead and took her and paid for her cremation. Not a good way to handle a call after a person's pet has crossed the rainbow bridge.

If you're looking for a veterinary team that will truly care for your fur baby when they need…read moremedical attention, Fresno Veterinary Specialists is the place to go. I brought my dog, Peaches, here after she had already been seen by two other veterinarians the week before. The first vet prescribed antibiotics for what they believed was an infection, but after several days there was no improvement, and she began having bloody discharge. I then took her to another veterinarian, who referred us to an internist. They suspected a foxtail may have somehow made its way into her vaginal area, but after not finding one, they worried she might have a polyp or even a mass that could be benign or cancerous. Needless to say, I was terrified. As soon as I got home, I started calling the internists they recommended, but unfortunately, the earliest appointment I could get was a week away. In the meantime, the bleeding became worse, so I decided to take Peaches to the ER at Fresno Veterinary Specialists. It was the best decision I could have made. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind and welcoming. We waited about an hour or two, which I completely understood, knowing there were other pets in need of urgent care. Once we were called back, the technician took the time to ask questions and gather information. Shortly afterward, Dr. Randy came in. He was thorough, compassionate, and genuinely concerned about Peaches. He explained what he thought might be going on and recommended sedating her so he could get a better look. I'm so grateful he did because he found a foxtail deeply embedded in her vaginal wall! He removed it, sent her home with antibiotics, and, to be safe, recommended that we still keep our appointment with the internist. Thankfully, the bleeding stopped the very next day and has not returned. Peaches is now back to her sweet, happy self. We did keep the appointment with the internist, and after examining Peaches, they agreed that no further procedures were necessary and that she appeared to be in good health. I can't thank Dr. Randy and the entire team at Fresno Veterinary Specialists enough for the exceptional care they provided. They gave me peace of mind and, most importantly, helped my sweet girl get back to feeling like herself again. Thank you all so much!

Armstrong Animal Hospital was able to get us in within about three hours, which we truly appreciated. Because Khloe is a senior cat, the doctor recommended being thorough. They performed a full exam, bloodwork, X-rays, and a urinalysis to rule out anything serious. All of her results came back normal, which was incredibly reassuring. Dr. Sunamar Deol took the time to explain the results clearly and walk us through what they meant, rather than just listing numbers. Dr. Deol explained that they would treat the situation conservatively as an upset stomach and nausea, and prescribed exactly what Khloe needed without over-treating. We felt listened to, informed, and supported throughout the visit. Nothing felt rushed or dismissive, and the plan made sense based on her symptoms and test results. One week later, Khloe is completely back to her normal self -- eating and drinking well, sleeping with us again, and showing her full personality. We're very grateful for Dr. Deol's thoughtful care and Armstrong Animal Hospital's ability to step in quickly when we needed help. We would absolutely recommend them, especially for senior pets who need careful, attentive evaluation.
