    BBQ Chicken
    Jess D.

This place caught my attention when they were running a 1 yr anniversary special 50% off everything. So we decided to give them a try . We ordered chicken platter , piccadhino platter , and mixed bbq platter . They were all full of flavor and hearty servings . The chicken was nice and juicy . The mixed BbQ had ribs which were delicious and the meat came off the bone nicely, sausage was good along with the short ribs and chicken This definitely a good dish to try if you want variety. The piccadhino had good flavor with a mix of pork, chicken beef and shrimp along peppers and potatoes( some of the meat was a little tough but flavors made up for it . Also decided to get the grilled red snapper it was so good . We definitely made out with the portions it feed us for days . They are very casual spot with only have a few tables inside and service pretty on point I called in the order and the gentleman said 45 minutes and our order was ready to go on time . I definitely would recommend this spot if you are looking for some Portuguese style bbq .

Legitimately the size of their sauces to go! You gotta be kidding me.

This smoke house is on fire! Loved the food, attention and atmosphere!…read moreAs soon as I entered the place I knew it was going to be a real experience; the decor is rustic but cheerful; I was intrigued by the different barbecue sauce containers displayed all over and their home made pickles offerings. The place is veteran owned and has been in business for a while! All the choices on the menu are mouth watering good! After serious consideration we settled on sharing the Trinity platter which came with brisket, spare ribs and sausage links. We opted out of the sausage and upgraded the platter with pastrami. The Texas Trinity platter also comes with choices of pickles, one small sized side, we had Mac and Cheese, and 2 rolls. The portions were satisfying and good to share. The meats, oh my! All were smoked and cooked to perfection! Moist, juicy, and tender! Even better, they were seasoned so well there is no need for the also perfect sauces they offer! What an amazing experience at Red White n Que Smoke House! From the friendly and attentive service to their amazing smoked meats! All was top notch real at this place! Check it out, it will not dissapoint!

I ordered a 1/2 pound pastrami sandwich and a side of creamy slaw. I did ask for a cup of water too, since they can give you free tap water. But back to the sandwich, it game on a tray where it was a puddle of grease on the paper. I don't normally eat so greasy so it took me by surprise and I pushed on through since I wanted to try it. Biting into it, felt like a struggle for some reason. Maybe it was too much meat but it was also just salty to the point where I was coughing a little. They have several types of sauces that helped it come together nicer. And the creamy slaw washed it down. On its own, I just could not finish the sandwich. Someone at my table got 1/4 pound pastrami but not the sandwich. It should have been similar to my sandwich but I had them try it. They said my sandwich was so salty that they may have even salted the bread too. It made me think I was just unlucky with my order as the salt built up in my sandwich. It is a very popular place, so I think I should try a different item, but my sandwich did not sit well with me.

I was thinking the experience should be good since it should be more personal than that other hit-or-miss big chain Brazilian Rodizio. I was wrong. The decor was nice but the waiting area was oddly situated where people could be in the way of the food coming out of the kitchen. We were seated at the far end of the main dining hall. My 2nd son and I ordered the Rodizio. My wife and daughter ordered the Picaña steak, my eldest son had the Skirt steak. The first three Rodizio choices came out early. They were the chicken wing, the sausages and a BBQ Ribeye. The chicken and sausages were flavorful. The BBQ Ribeye was dry. Then, the other steaks came out. They did take awhile. They were supposed to be medium rare. My wife was medium, close to medium well. But, we were so hungry, we let it slide. Her steak was was under seasoned. Meanwhile, the Rodizio meats weren't making to our table. 10 mins passed since the last meat received and nothing came by. We'd see tables closer to the entrance and behind us receive the steaks on the skewers or the grilled pineapple, but not us. What kept on coming by were the chicken and the sausages again. There was a lamb brisket, that passed by. I tried it, it was bland and dry. I complained to the waiter about not getting any good meats. To his credit, he did say he'll do his best to get some to come. A manager came by and apologized and said that they were busy and they're trying to get them out as soon as possible. Another 10 mins and only shrimp came by. While the shrimp was being served, we saw a brand new batch of picaña come out and served to the table right next to us (who were just seated). Then, my table was skipped. It never circled back. I asked the waiter what's going on and mentioned about the Picaña skewer. He apologized again and said that he'll do something about it. But what was coming by us were the same chicken and sausages. We were almost two hours into our dining and still no good meats coming by. By then, I had enough and just asked for the bill. The waiter could tell I was far from pleased. By the time I signed the check, the Picaña and skirt Steak showed up. I tried them just for the heck of it. They were well done and dry. Afterwards, we stood up and left. $340 down the drain. No effort from management to try to appease a disappointed customer. We left utterly frustrated. If it weren't for our waiter who was doing his best, this place would have gotten a one star. Never coming back to this place.

The service here is amazing! I originally wanted pork skewers, but the server said that it would take ~40 min to prepare. We were on a time crunch, therefore we ordered Portuguese style bbq chicken with a side of beans, potatoes, and a large serving of rice to share. The chicken was okay, it wasn't as juicy as I would have liked it to be, nor did it have much flavour except salt. The beans tasted metal like as if they were straight out of a can, and the rice wasn't very good at all. The yellow rice smelled good but had no flavour, and it wasn't fully cooked. It makes me wonder if they use instant rice. Maybe it's all matter of preference, because others seem to enjoy the food. The joint smells great from outside, but I don't think I'm curious enough to try the rest of the menu. The servers deserve 5 stars!

I don't often see Canh Chua Thom on menus at Vietnamese restaurants, and enjoyed it here. We ordered the following: Tra Thai, which is Thai Iced Tea- this was pretty good Soda Hot Ga, which is egg yolk with soda - hubs enjoyed it and liked it A2- Goi Cuon, which are spring rolls that are rice paper stuffed with shrimp, egg and noodles. It came with peanut sauce but we opted for fish sauce because of our daughter's peanut allergy. The rice paper wasn't soft and it felt rubbery. It was hard at the edges and made us wonder if it was premade. We wished it was fresher. S21 Bun Rieu, which is crab meat pork in tomato shrimp paste noodle soup. Daughter liked it and wasn't disappointed by it. D4- Mi Xao Dơn Do Biển, which is a combination of seafood and vegetables stir fried in a light sauce and served over crispy noodles. I was a little disappointed with this entree. We expected it to be egg noodles but it wasn't. There was hardly any proteins but mostly vegetable fillers. A9- Banh Xeo, which is coconut and rice flour crepe filled with a savory combination of bean sprouts and shrimp that's served on a bed of lettuce. This was ok but it wasn't as soft. The omelet tasted like it was overdone. I'm not sure if it was because we just came back from our trip to Los Angeles where all the Vietnamese food were top-notch but I felt a little disappointed with this place. Service was quick and friendly. Glad we got to try this place!
