A large order of Chicken Picadinho with Yellow Rice
    Donna R.

I was in the mood for Portuguese BBQ and wanted to get some takeout. I decided to try Brasa Wood- Fired Grill. I placed my order over the phone and it was ready in 25 minutes for pickup. I started with 2 Beef Empanadas. They were hot with a crispy outside and a soft and tender inside. They were good. Brasa offers a variety of fillings for their Empanadas like Chicken, Pork, or Beef. I then chose for my main dish their Large size Chicken Picadinho. It's enough for two people. I must say after trying many other places that Brasa Wood Fired Grill has the best Picadinho in the area. What makes theirs so good is they add potatoes and sausage in it with the Chicken and Yellow Rice. Their Yellow Rice was very moist and tender it wasn't dry like other places. I really enjoyed every bite. Brasa offers Salads, and a Variety of different Sandwiches, Sides like Sweet Plantains, Mexican Street Corn, Burgers, Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, Wings, Shrimp Ceviche and more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is casual with a warm and cozy feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]The staff is very nice and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They do have some seating for dining in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is delicious! This will definitely be my go to for Portuguese BBQ.

Updated Review: Warren Barbeque (Formerly Brasa Wood-Fired Grill) Under new ownership or management, this spot has rebranded as Warren Barbeque--and it's thriving. The food remains as delicious as ever, with [[HIGHLIGHT]]the familiar cozy interior unchanged.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highlights include the tasty chicken, perfectly seasoned rice, and hearty beans that hit all the right notes for authentic Portuguese BBQ. A few minor tweaks could elevate it further: Opt for larger plates to make meals feel more generous, and help the staff sync up with clearer routines and better internal communication--they're a bit scattered at times, likely from overzealous hospitality. Their energy is infectious and genuine; just let it flow naturally, and it'll shine even brighter. With time, it'll all settle seamlessly. The menu's been smartly refreshed, with far more reasonable prices that ditch the old fine-dining pretensions. Now it's the no-fuss Portuguese BBQ joint we all crave. Keep up the great work--I'll be back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a very nice place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were able to be seated right away. The food was very good. We would order from here again.

Veggie Wrap - Seasonal grilled vegetables, goat cheese spread, baby mixed greens, balsamic, spinach wrap
    John R.

Five stars for being a fresh selection of menu options. Being new they have some bugs to work out, but I'll touch on those within the review... Coming for lunch the VEGGIE WRAP - Seasonal grilled vegetables, goat cheese spread, baby mixed greens, balsamic, spinach wrap is really great. It doesn't appear on the dinner menu, but it does appear on the Grubhub delivery menu, so is it available all day long? I'm not 100% sure. Either way, the menu is broad enough to have several things I am wanting to try so coming here for dinner one night I had the "COSTELA VACA" BEEF SHORT RIBS - Flanken cut with soy+gochujang or chipotle+brown sugar glaze. I had no idea what "flanken" cut was but just rolled with the idea of giving them a try. It is not something I have seen before, but it worked out very well for dinner and is something I would have again. The bread served table side for dinner is a nice add to the lunch experience. Someone else at the table had the CRISPY SKIN SALMON - Cilantro lime rice, cucumber+feta+olive salad & grilled lemon and was very happy with it. (This is from a person who sometimes is turned off by fish dishes in general) Also, at the request of someone else I ordered a BRASA BURGER - 8oz brisket blend, aged cheddar, Caramelized onion-bacon jam, Blue ribbon sauce on a Portuguese muffin, and they rated it an 8.8 out of 10 which was quite a high rating for the large spectrum of burgers this person has tried. The BERRY-LICIOUS sangria with a Riesling wine worked out well for the table. I think they need to do a better job of describing the sangria experience for the table and also add this information to their website. At the moment I believe I only see a delivery menu on their site. Great if that is what you are doing, not so great if you are trying to figure out what your in person experience is going to be. Speaking of alcohol, they do have a selection of ATHLETIC BEER. Though described as non-alcohol it does have a small amount (less than 0.5% ABV) and never having had or seen it before it was nice to try here. However, served table side in a glass with ICE? No, please don't do that again! Another bonus for the place is a QR code for payment. No, you don't have to use it, but it is there, and I truly wish EVERY place would do this. HOWEVER, at least on an iPhone using Apple Pay (which seems to be the only choice given when bringing up the bill) Amex did not work for me. Selecting a Visa card in my Apple Pay Wallet worked, but something is quirky with the Clover POS they are using, and no, don't blame the customer for this.

BEWARE: This is page 6 from the ABC Beverage Control Handbook for Municipal Issuing Authorities.
    Tony M.

Nice ambiance and although the food was really good, I cannot say the same about the service. This restaurant charges a corkage fee without having a liquor license. According to page 6 from the ABC Handbook for Municipal Issuing Authorities, what they are doing is illegal. When I challenged the waiter, the restaurant would not remove the fee. It's not the cost of the fee that is the problem for me. The problem is that this action is not legal. The restaurant clearly needs the $5 more than I do given how empty they were for a Saturday night. In addition, at 9:10pm we were handed the bill without being given a dessert menu. When I asked for one, I was told the kitchen closed at 9:00pm. Any other server would have come to the table to say "The kitchen is closing soon. Would you like to put in dessert orders?" Well, that did not happen here. Their loss because I know there is a lot of profit for restaurants in dessert and coffee. They were clearly more concerned about leaving as one of the workers started sweeping the floors at around 8:30pm. Too bad, they lost a potential regular patron.

We were all drinking them. My rib eye was perfection (pic included). I would definitely recommend this place in this updated review. My Favorite Go-To Spot -- Always a 10/10 Experience!…read more I've been to Lukas Seafood & Grille probably four times now, and it's hands down one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Every single visit is consistently amazing -- from the moment you sit down to the last bite of dessert, everything is flawless. Service & Atmosphere: As soon as you're seated, they bring out fresh, cold water and warm bread with olive paste and butter -- it's so good and such a perfect start to the meal. The service here is impeccably fast -- nothing stays on the table for more than five minutes, and every course comes out perfectly timed. The staff is professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is beautiful -- cozy lighting, comfortable seating, and their covered outdoor area is a total win. It's warm, inviting, and perfect for evenings when you want that open-air feeling without worrying about the weather. Food: Every dish I've tried here has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. We started with the crab cake appetizer -- crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside, served with a creamy sauce and lemon slices. The seafood pasta was packed with mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari in a rich tomato broth that tasted incredibly fresh and balanced. The chicken entrée with mashed potatoes and asparagus was tender and juicy, topped with a light buttery sauce that tied everything together. Each plate is thoughtfully presented with a decorative flower and herbs -- not edible, but a nice elegant touch that makes the dishes look restaurant-quality in every way. Drinks & Dessert: The drinks and wine here are fantastic! My berry cocktail was refreshing, fruity, and gorgeous -- garnished with mint and fresh strawberries. For dessert, we had the tres leches cake and the crème brûlée. Both were incredible -- the tres leches was creamy, rich, and soaked just right, while the crème brûlée had that perfect caramelized crust and soft, custardy center. Everything at Lukas Seafood & Grille tastes fresh and made with care. The service is fast, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is warm and elegant. Whether you're on a date night, celebrating something special, or just want an amazing dinner -- this place never disappoints.

It is a very nice restaurant; Large, but not overbearing. I could see going here either on date night, or with 2 more couples. Chef/owner Scott came out from the kitchen to greet us and other patrons, and was gracious to everyone. Onto the food. The Duck Tacos and Mussels were very tasty. I think I might put a call into Chef and have him make me a bottle of that Mussels sauce to take home with me. Then came the crisp Caesar Salad, which kept everything bright. To finish, we had the Black Cod and Duck Confit, both of which were very well balanced and cooked perfectly. Oh, and the Guava-glazed Brussels Sprouts were a perfect side. Next time, I want to try one or two of their desserts. All-in-all, we had a great experience, and the night was a success. Chef, see you soon. I might just bring a large mason jar for some sauce!..

I ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap, which was excellent, packed with chicken and very filling. I ended up taking half home because it was both generous and delicious. I highly recommend stopping by for drinks and bites if you're in the mood for classic cocktails and solid food. Happy hour is first come, first served and limited to the bar only (around 15 seats total). We arrived right when it started, and when we left about 40 minutes later, the bar was about half full. There was a young lady sitting in the corner in the phone telling us that there were no seats if we didn't have a reservation. Not the most polite but whatever. We went back to the bar and got a table. Why are bar tables always so sticky?! Anyhoo, we just missed the Happy Jour menu but it was only a $1-2 discount (except for the burger: $4). Service was pleasant and attentive. The food was overpriced for sitting in a bar. $30 for a bowl of ramen! (I don't know how it tastes but it's $17 across the street.) $22 for a burger and fries! $10 for two little bao with a single shrimp in each! Ok, that's not too bad since Bao is generally overpriced for some reason but I could have gotten more than one shrimp. Unfortunately, the price did not reflect the quality. My friend who got the ramen said it was in the bottom 25% he's ever had. My burger was pretty good but the bun was toasted and brittle and made an unnecessary mess. The fries--personal preference--I don't like skinny fries. As for the bao, the shrimp was too salty. I liked the finishing salt but the flavoring salt was too heavy. Also, it was drizzled with aioli and I couldn't pick it up and eat it like the sandwich it was. Overall, a disappointment. Mediocre food and an elevated price for no reason.
