The tamales are hefty; I'd compare them to the size of a California burrito, and the green tamale has a decent kick. The elote is also amazing with Valentina. The churros are hot and oily, fried right in front of you in a bit vat. Bear in mind that there are 8 churros in an order so you can share one order to two people (but you won't really want to). Eat them first as soon as they've cooled a bit for the best experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the waffle, and even more shocked at the mountain of whipped cream on top. The waffle itself was really good, such a good texture and flavor. Mexican Street Corn - delicious!! I'm soooo glad I finally found Elote Locos!! I went to their old location on Highland and had no idea that they had moved. So I looked them up on IG and found their new address and I decided to take my buddy there on a spur of the moment. When we got there, the set up was outside, but you can tell the owner is hustling to get his store up and going You can get elote like the OG, Hot Cheeto, and Selena. I didn't wanna be messy so I got esquite (elote in a cup) to go. The parking area isn't great but if you park a block away it's nice to take a stroll down the neighborhood and make a quick stop at Elotes Locos. I highly recommend this place! read more

My cousin bumped into them at a bar in downtown Chula Vista (they're Mobile) so she got their card and ended up having them for a party and let me tell you, the elotes are soooo good! They have a slightly different way of doing them when they cook it and they get creative. Definitely recommend. read more
