I'll try these same four choices again to see if the flavor is better, but before then I'll visit Frankie's Deli in Oakbrook Terrace for the best hot and mild Italian sausage, and Ream's Meat Market in Elburn for several varieties from their huge selection of sausages.

The addition of the bakery in the same building makes this shop a little different from some of the other gourmet places around here (note that there are several other places in downtown Naperville that specialize in this type of product). It's slightly hard to find (go down the alley between Potbelly and the yellow house building and it's in the courtyard behind), but worth looking for! This is truly a family run spot and I felt like I was a guest in their home being given a home cooked meal made with love. The restaurant is clean and cozy. The bathrooms included. And there is plentiful street parking in front and the surrounding areas. A gem in the suburbs that shouldn't be hidden. They will not honor their website prices. I would have bought the sausage but because I found it "unethical" that they will not honor their advertised website prices, they lost a customer.
