An Al Pastor (pork) tacos and an Asada (Beef) tacos

Super convenient with plenty of street parking in front of it. Don't confuse it with "Karilagan" sign next to it, this Mexican place is actually inside "Jo Ann's" instead. No prices displayed but we paid about $30 for 5 tacos, a drink and chips/salsa. No credit card, cash or Venmo only. The staff were super friendly and everything was ready within 5min. You can either sit inside or outside.

Los tacos mas chingones del Norte de California (the best tacos in Northern California, at least). Having eaten at a few great taco operations in LA, some of which double as a restaurant out of some other business, I found this place that similarly turns into a taco shop out of Jo Ann's Cafe at night between 5:30-12:00, Thursdays to Sundays. I'd say what's more impressive than those places is 1) this is a 3-4 person institution and 2) that I showed up right at closing and still got tacos that exceeded my expectations even at opening in terms of meat quality, seasoning/grill flavor, price to portion. Check this place out, perfect for late night cravings.

I was looking for something to eat past 9 PM on Sunday found this place on yelp. I ordered two tacos, Asada and one queso taco Asada. Wow the meat was tender and good flavor! Coming from someone that knows good taco places in LA. This is one of the best places I've had. My gf ordered quesadilla de Asada I took a bite and we both loved it. The salsa bar is very good. I recommend the green Santa the red one was OK and definitely the guacamole green salsa is on the tacos. We're only visiting so we will be coming back before we leave for round two that good five stars

Truly amazing, everything is fresh and the staff are so nice and caring it reminded me a lot of Puerto Rico and how my family cooks over there truly recommend eating here.

"Great hole-in-the-wall Mexican near SFO airport"…read more Came here for dinner at 6pm on a Monday night, based on good Yelp reviews. The place is unassuming-- has a thin stretch of outdoor seating and a handful of tables inside. Not super bright in lighting, and a TV inside was showing a baseball game. Seemed like a lot of the business was takeout, as people would come, hover, get food, and leave. I was GOING to order the fish tacos or a fish quesadilla, but I was swayed by the picture of a breaded fish plate special. My son got the carne asada quesadilla, and others at the table got a veggie burrito and a chicken bowl. Food came out pretty quick-- maybe around or just over 10 minutes (the fish plate and veggie burrito came out slightly after the other two). I was very impressed that the fish plate looked even BETTER than the photo (see photos of both). The fish was HUGE. There was a generous helping of guacamole, lots of fresh avocado slides, some onion and cabbage, etc. There was a nice bed of lettuce on the side with sour cream over it, and the rice & beans (covered with a thin layer of cheese) on another side. The fish plate was just delicious. The batter wasn't overpowering or too heavy, and the fish was excellent inside (and very flat). I really liked the sauce in a little cup on the fish, or having it with avocado or guacamole, or even straight. The rice and beans were yummy too. Such a great dish, and it was under $20 before tax and tip. My dining companions all liked their food, though my son said the carne asada meat was "just good" (he had a bite of the chicken and said that was better). The person at the register was friendly. And as mentioned, the prices were very reasonable. I'd happily eat here again if in the area. Great portion size, great quality, good value, etc. Enjoy!

The burrito had potatoes, but they weren't french fries. They were boiled potato strips. Kind of somewhat annoying when that's what I was looking forward to. Also, I ordered a super burrito, but it was more like a taco. Burritos here are really small so if you're hungry, forget about it.

The molcajete (traditional stone grinding bowl) $34.27 is fish, chicken, steak, chorizo, shrimp, bell peppers, green onions, cheese & tortillas. It is meant for two or more people. My attempt to do this solo failed miserably. At least they have to-go boxes. The steak and shrimps have a charred flavor. The inside, with the chicken, fish, shrimp and pork sausage had a smokey bean flavor combined with snap of green onions and bell peppers. I was surprised the heated stoneware didn't dry out the meats. It was perfect. Service was excellent for a pay at the cashier and they bring you the food type of restaurant. You have to ask at the cashier to re-fill your water. The self service salsa bar is a plus. They will give you actual silverware and plate if you ask. Minor nit. The price on the electronic wall menu was $32.95. The price on the cash register is $34.27. I paid in cash. They need to update the wall menu.

What really didn't make sense to me was the pricing. A super burrito with meat is $14.82, but a super veggie burrito is somehow more expensive at $15.55. Charging extra for a vegetarian option without any clear reason feels off and hard to justify. Overall, it's a pass for me. The menu offers a variety of items, and we decided on the elote tots (tater tots and elote street-style corn), an appetizer that sounded different, and for the main dishes, the nachos with added soy chorizo and the spaghetti with Poblano chili sauce, plus a side of soy chorizo. The food came quickly, and the elote tots were amazingly good! The combination of tater tots, the corn, and the cheeses (sauce and crumbled) was amazing mix of textures and flavors. The nachos were good, and the pasta with poblano sauce was also very good. The sauce was creamy, with a slight heat, and very different. The soy chorizo was not my favorite, and in the nachos, the crumbled form of the soy chorizo was better suited as an add than as a side to the pasta (maybe it was intended to be mixed in, but I wanted to eat it separately). Just too crumbled and a little dry for me. The service was great, and thanks to Dioscelyn for that. Overall, a very nice meal. We were not hurried and stayed at the table a bit to chat.
