Typical dive bar, but very clean, friendly patrons, and good drinks. Our first time visiting and had a good experience. It was a Sunday morning and there were only about 10 people in the bar, and most of us were watching football on one of the many TVs around the bar. Liz was bartending and made some fantastic Bloody Mary's, as well as an intoxicating "Big Stick" cocktail that took me back to the Caribbean. There's an e-cocktail menu board behind the bar that goes through pictures of their offerings. Drink prices are very reasonable. They don't serve food, but you're welcome to bring something in or have it delivered. Plenty of parking is available on street, or in a city lot, but there are several restaurants/bars and other businesses in the immediate area.

Love this bar!!!! Came with my friend's after a night out and was pleasantly surprised by the prices and vibe. I got a Paloma which was $5 and a tequila sunrise which was about $7. I also got some hot Cheetos that they had (thank god). They have one dart machine, a pool table which is always in use and the music is controlled by the customers which was cool. You have to pay for credits using your phone but it was so fun to feel like the DJ HAHAHA. Nice workers, decent service. Overall great place!

i had been here 1 time w 2 other frenz previously but left after just grabbin 1 drink cuz it wasnt exactly our vibe + da crowd is much older fast4ward a year later, somebody who had been chattin w me from online asked 2 meet me in person a few times & we finally met up inda plaza kinda across from this place & after couple drinks, we challenged each other 2 couple games of pool ~ he picked this place cuz it was nearby still not really my vibe but da bartender seems kool & i asked em 2 turn on 2 espn, as im a huge NBA fanatic ~ pool table takes coins 2 play & da table itself + da cue stix r just meh but da crowd that late afternoon was friendly/nice

Definitely a spot to check out if you are in the area and want a quick drink, the crowd is calm and collected, bartenders are quick to pour, quick to shake and you can also play the California Lottery! Drink and have a shot to win!

Quite surprised how clean, nice & roomy this bar is! Expected to see bar flies, sticky counters & have a musty smell. To my Surprise I was totally WRONG!! We happened to stumble in while waiting for Brunch @ Mexican restaurant next door. Very friendly female bartender on a Sun. Morning made us a killer spicy Bloody Mary. Cool place w/ plenty of TV's to catch a game & a pool table for your entertainment.

Really liked this place. It was down to earth, mostly good music (juke box) and good drinks. I made a mistake and ordered wine (comes in small bottles) and it had crumbs or like the stuff at the bottom so that wasn't good. My bf got a rum and coke and it was good. Then he got a whiskey sour and he said it was delicious. The vibe was chill, people playing pool, and sharing stories. If in the area I'll come back.

Our server took our drink order and food order within minutes and we watched a game while waiting for our food. My son ordered the Edna Vee burger with tots and mac n cheese. He loved the burger and tots and said the mac n cheese was alright. I ordered the Cesar salad wrap with tots and I thought it was great! My only complaint was the chicken portion to salad was a little slim but, the crispy tots made up for it. The star of the show was the bread pudding! I'm not a huge fan of soggy bread but, this one was perfect. It had candied walnuts, caramel, vanilla ice cream and apples. Probably some of the best bread pudding I've had. Since we were starving, I didn't get food pics but, I would absolutely recommend dining here for a good time and good food.

Amazing…read morebeers, delicious food, a cool hybrid restaurant setup, attentive staff with cool uniforms. The place was the sh*t. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House

As I pulled up to the parking lot, I noticed they had an outdoor seating area, which is really nice on hot days. It looked like a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink in the evening. When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.
