Staff gave clear instructions at pick up to keep the cake in the floor of the car during transport and to store the cake in a fridge until ready to eat. The box for transport was great because I got to check the design easily before leaving and the ribbon was tightly wrapped to secure the box cover to the base. When I saw the cake in person, it was made almost exactly to what I asked for, and yes, it was beautiful. The buttercream used lasted for hours as the cake wasn't served until at least 5 hours after being placed on the table. I don't really know what the things on top of the cake were (dried figs?) but we didn't eat them, so not sure if they're edible. I'm usually the cake-person for my friends and family, and I definitely will be ordering from here again, especially to try the other flavours. 10/10 would come again!
