We were next door for an impromptu shopping with family. Noticed this tofu and soy drink shop. Memories of these items flooded when we were in Asia and I knew I had to have it again. We took some warm plain tofu and a chocolate tofu. Some family were not sure if they will like it. We loved the plain warm tofu (cold is also available). The chocolate not so much as it is just the same tofu drizzled with Hershey's chocolate sauce. Even after adding the chocolate sauce, the chocolate tofu is still vegan. There is a Ginger version as well, but I gotta leave something for next time. There are soy and almond drinks / milks as well. The warm tofu is just as we had in Asia and fresh, soft and so good. Spoon it your mouth and it just melts. For vegans like us, it is amazing (I am sure for non-vegans as well). Must visit again.

Whenever in the area, a visit to Yan's Soy Foods is a must!! Tofu pudding or soy milk, what's your pick? How about both! The consistent quality they've maintained all these years is truly remarkable, especially having been a long time customer since their Market Village days.

Wow.. the tofu pudding dessert is sooo good here. Best one I've ever had. The tofu was literally silky smooth. Never had I had one for so long that tasted like this one. Hands down the best in the city so far. Service was kinda rude. It was my first time so I went up to the counter and asked politely if I can order the tofu pudding and the lady didn't say anything and just stared at me. After that I looked at her and she looked at me and she finally asked, what size? And I responded what sizes are there and she just pointed to the containers.

Very good soy base products. The Soy Milk Jelly is so smooth and I also like the Coconut Soy Drink! I came here twice to enjoy the sweet treats on my recent trip to Toronto, and for sure I will be coming back again on my next visit!

Whenever we are close by to Yan's Soy Foods, it is a must visit. One of our cousins first put us on this spot, and now I crave it all the time. I usually love a cold dessert, but getting this hot and trying it fresh is a next level of joy. It literally felt like a hug to the soul on a cold day. Note that this spot is cash only!

Possibly the BEST hot soft tofu pudding dessert I have ever eaten. The fresh taste, smooth texture plus the ginger (xtra cost) syrup that was not overly sweet brought a smile on my face. So good in fact I order another one to go after swallowing that first order. I would imagine that the soybean drinks, which the pudding is based of off, would be equally as impressive. 5 stars.

This place has found its niche and it deserves all the positive reviews it's getting. A small mom & pop establishment that puts their heart and soul into their product and with your first sip or spoonful, you can appreciate their efforts. If you like soy drinks or soy puddings, come and get it, hot, cold, liquid, soft, ginger, almond, original, they got it all I got the almond soy pudding and it was silky smooth with a slight almond aftertaste. What a gem of a find, don't be put off by the image of soy, Asians already have included soy products as part of their daily/weekly healthy meal choices, you won't be disappointed. Soy is bland by itself but they have included flavorings to their soy products that is truly enjoyable to your palette. Highly recommended

A classic soybean shop that use to be in Market Village, before the building got demolished. So happy they reopened at this Denison plaza. The lines are long but so worth the wait! You can get cold or hot tofu flower, soy bean drink by the carton or cup - they even have different flavours of the drink. Flavours include chocolate, original, almond and coconut. Go for the original soy bean drink, you can't go wrong with this. I also got the chocolate to be adventurous but felt it was a tad bit too sweet. Tofu flower was amazing, although I didn't really enjoy that sugar was already put into the tofu flower, rather than having it on the side to add it yourself. If you're in the area, definitely check it out. There's a whole food court area for you to get more food as well - worth a trip!

4.5 STARS It was my MILs birthday, so I told mr. Tran we should grab some tofu pudding to bring over. We love this tofu place just for their dou fu fa. It's silky, light, and just the right amount of sweetness. There's no preservatives too! We got 4 tubs to go, and I got one chocolate soy milk and mr. Tran got himself original soy milk. As much as we love their tofu pudding, I found that their drinks can be a touch sweeter. Other than that, definitely the place to go for your tofu pudding cravings.

The tofu pudding was as delicious as I remembered, almond paste was average but it complimented the pudding well.

The decor is full of colourful lanterns and simple furniture. However, the metal chairs are not comfy at all. That could be changed. The service was quick for lunch. I got the business lunch set which the vermicelli noodle soup came quickly. I wish it was hotter in temperature and that it had more coriander. I also had to ask for the black vinegar to go with it which it should have been given. The spicy sauce was already at the table. The pickled cabbage was a nice crunchy side. The winter melon tea was nice, but not enough tapioca since I paid extra for that. The popcorn chicken was amazing. They nailed that one and also, the deep fried tofu. It reminded me of my trips to Taiwan. The boiled veggies were a nice touch to the meal. To end it off, we shared a hot tofu dessert dish. Overall, it was a great experience. There could be some changes to the restaurant, but I know their focus is on two main traditional Taiwanese dishes.

Got the mixed noodles and mixed chicken and pork rice. Also got the sweet potato fries to start, very sweet. It's similar to the honey butter chips. The noodles had a Smokey flavour, very different than any noodles I've had. Loved the intestines and beef, tender and flavourful. The space was nicely decorated. Order via app and pay at the counter. Food came out quickly, everyone looked cooked already on the hot table.

I arrived right at opening time on a Saturday, and they had all their food items out, and were just placing the description cards on the display. I ended up getting 3 pastries in addition to the mini-cakes since the staff reminded me that any order of 6 items would be tax-free, and the selection was so appealing that day that I couldn't resist! Flavour, quality, and presentation was amazing, just as I expected based on the birthday cake I had tried from here. I loved everything! Such a spot for great pick me up treat. Prices tend to run pretty standard for the GTA, $6-10 per item. Staff told me their night baker had made all items the same day, so no wonder their quality is top notch.
