Beverly Hills is the same LaserAway office that sold me years ago on tons…read moreof "no expiration" packages to beat inflation etc., then later criticized me for not using my packages more timely and tried to rip me off, claiming I had nothing left in my account, and on top of that disrespectfully wasting my time by not providing me advance notice that my appointment had been canceled by them--- just a couple hours prior to the time of my appointment when I had already left for the day and was on my way; ironic, since they require 24 hrs advance notice from a client to cancel an appointment without penalty. I then sat around in the waiting room while Giau said she would look into it, only to then be told after waiting another half-hour that I wouldn't be able to be seen or have my issue looked into. Rather than take responsibility for their disorganization and unknowledeable personnel, they just point the finger from one employee to the next and send the client on a wild goose chase with no end. The manager TK claimed he would help me with my account and had scheduled me for that appointment, but later was evasive and refused to help get to the bottom of their errors, saying I would get a call back later in the day, but never calling back, then saying Giau was working on my case and would contact me that afternoon (that never happened). I was told other times by staff that Giau would call me right back the same day or the next day, only to find out later that she was on vacation for the whole week; how is it that their staff does not know when each other is on leave!? Turns out after much back and forth that they had to admit to having erroneously closed my account and had proof in their system the entire time that I had multiple services remaining, but instead of owning up to the gross error, tried to put the blame on me for not having finished the package sooner despite their "no expiration" policy. Seems the policy is just a false promise and ruse to get one to buy more, for since then I have read similar reports from other clients of their accounts being closed and being denied prepaid services because of errors committed by LaserAway.

What he also didn't explain is that when you do such a procedure and he takes off a lot of the fat from the back, all of that fat compensates and goes to your stomach. So now you just look like a reverse S, with your stomach protruding out and your butt protruding out. I participated in a few of their in-store seasonal promos and the front desk staff here verbally confirmed that they had added to my account with 2 complimentary facials for my participation, and that I would be good to use them at any time as per their overall highly-visible and marketed "no expiration" company policy. The staff never gave me any receipt nor written terms, nor did I know to ask since I greenly assumed they would be trustworthy and would have no reason to lie or shortchange me. Which then led LaserAway to deny me the facials rather than take accountability for their poor management and lack of training of staff who apparently were supposed to have responded differently by providing a receipt to me. When I tried to clear up the matter with the West Hollywood office where the staff I had fulfilled the promo deal with were based, none of the (all-new) staff were knowledgeable or helpful to figure out what their predecessors had supposedly done for my account. You also don't know if you will have your treatment as you are not asked key questions before you show up. The system does not verify medication changes or other factors that would prevent you from having your treatment done. It is incredibly frustrating to have such a disconnect between an amazing local staff and a corporate system that lacks basic verification protocols. At first, the result seemed fine, but over time the volume changed and appears to have shifted into other areas. The worst part is that, unlike filler, I can't simply have it dissolved. When I contacted the clinic, instead of offering to evaluate the problem or help find a solution, they suggested I may have had the procedure somewhere else. I know exactly where I had it done, and if another clinic had done it, I would obviously be contacting that provider instead. She told me it would enhance my eyes and carefully drew a beautiful pencil design that looked elegant, symmetrical, and flattering. I approved that exact design because I loved it. What Lucy permanently tattooed onto my eyes was completely different. The final eyeliner did not match the approved shape, thickness, symmetry, placement, or direction of the wings. One side was noticeably thicker, the wings were uneven, curved, and sharply angled upward instead of extending outward like the approved design. I am uploading photos of the original drawing and the healed result so people can compare them for themselves. The appointment itself was stressful from the beginning. Lucy arrived about 30 minutes late, then rushed through my appointment because she needed to move on to her next client. Permanent eyeliner is an irreversible procedure that requires patience and precision, yet I felt hurried the entire time. At the end, she told me she needed to start with her next client. After paying $1,287.50, I found that incredibly unprofessional. I also had a significant reaction to the numbing cream and my eyelids became visibly swollen. Instead of stopping and rescheduling, Lucy gave me Benadryl, waited briefly, and continued tattooing my swollen eyelids. She repeatedly adjusted the lines while my eyes were swollen and even asked me technical questions about placement, although I was relying entirely on her professional judgment. The worst part was how I was treated afterward. When I explained that the healed eyeliner looked nothing like the design I had approved, Lucy repeatedly interrupted me, became defensive, dismissed my concerns, and refused to take responsibility. She actually told me, "I can't deal with this right now," and "Your problem is that you're too much in your head." I was not "in my head." I was trying to explain that I had been permanently tattooed with eyeliner that looked materially different from the design she had personally created, shown me, and asked me to approve. Instead of acknowledging the obvious differences, Lucy blamed my eyes. She told me I had "hooded eyes" and even suggested I get an eyebrow lift. My eyes were exactly the same when she examined me, recommended permanent eyeliner, and drew the original design. If my eye shape supposedly made that design impossible, why recommend the procedure and ask me to approve it in the first place? I contacted her office immediately and reported the same concerns from day one. This was not buyer's remorse, poor healing, or pigment retention. My skin accepted the pigment perfectly. The problem was that the permanent eyeliner Lucy tattooed was materially different from the design I approved. Because of her work, I was forced to undergo multiple painful laser eyeliner removal treatments near my eyes. I spent additional money, had to cover the bright red discoloration with heavy makeup, sought independent professional opinions, and endured months of embarrassment, anxiety, stress, and emotional exhaustion. What makes this even more disturbing is that Lucy attempted to rely on her "non-refundable" policy instead of taking responsibility. That policy is meant for pigment retention, healing, or how a client's skin responds, not for tattooing something materially different from the approved design. A non-refundable policy should never excuse a service that was not performed as represented. Please don't rely only on carefully curated social media photos. Compare my approved design with the final result. I deeply regret trusting Lucy Hart Ink and would never recommend this business.
