Location: easy to find and plenty of parking. on sundays, ring the bell at the door so you can be allowed in. the salon itself is clean Appt: i have had 3 appts so far and will come back as a regular client. booking an appt has been easy so far. First one was for a meet and greet, consultation - the consultation fee gets credited towards the procedure itself. Second is for microblading/shading and classic lashes and third was for the touch up and classic lashes Microblading/Shading procedure and touch up: there was minimal to no pain or discomfort at all! surprisingly, no swelling or major redness in the area. the initial result was nowhere near looking like an angry bird, it was more like a make up look. Today is exactly 1 month after my touch up and I love my brows (and lashes)! I don't struggle to do my brows anymore before going to work. They look natural Post procedure: following after care instructions carefully, my brows healed beautifully. The only thing bothersome during this phase is the itching amidst applying A&D. Although I read about it, I still got scared when the peeling began as I thought I was losing the color and strokes - do not pick on the tiny scabs, just let it take its course! The challenging part of this phase is to not wet your brows for a good 10 days - use a shield, be creative! It will be worth it in the end Lash procedure: fast and good quality. i waited for my brow touch up to come back for an appt so that was at around 4 weeks, but, my lashes still looked great! i used to get my lashes done by another person $$$ and they start falling off almost instantaneously and the glue crusts and irritates my lids. Michelle: very professional! she has a very warm and welcoming attitude. I like how she thoroughly explains and compares procedures, tells you what to expect and listens to what you want to achieve, but, honest in what she thinks will look perfect on you and what procedure is good for your skin type- trust your expert! I don't like to give 1 stars to small businesses because I personally know how hard it is to be in business for yourself, so when I give a 1 star, they absolutely deserve it. I used this business' online system to make an appointment and even though it showed availability, I got the decline notice. So I messaged the owner several times to see what could be the problem via text and Instagram, but no answer. I had communicated with her via text before and all was going well, until before I booked the appointment I asked her if she would be open to honor her promotion price and thats when she went silent which was super frustrating. 5 years ago I had my brows done and I was super unhappy. I am so glad I found her on Instagram. Michelle explained if I was a candidate for microblading or not. I had always considered getting microbladed because I hated my natural brows, but I had a hard time finding an artist that was affordable and also had good results. When I saw Michelle's page I knew she was the artist for me! The experience was relatively painless and took about two hours. Michelle made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She's also really easy to talk to and a lot of fun. When I looked in the mirror after she was done, I was absolutely overjoyed with my new eyebrows! Keep in mind that healing process takes at least a few weeks! On the second or third day they turned super dark and Angry Bird-like, then at about four days they started to scab and peel and looked really rough for a few days. Don't be afraid if this happens to you because once the scabs fell off I completely fell in love with them again! Just be aware if you go to work or school that they might look funny for a few days. Either way it is completely worth it. Overall, this experience has completely changed how I feel about my appearance. I feel so much happier with the way I look, especially without makeup. I've been doing eyebrow tattooing for almost 20 years. It usually lasts me about 2 years before it fades and I have to do it again so I've probably had it done at least 10 times. Hieu is very professional yet friendly. I love that she draws in what you want but also gives some of her feedback instead of some eyebrow nazi (am I allowed to say that) I've had in the past and just tattoos away without giving a hoot what you want. I purposely waited about 4 weeks after my touch up session to give my yelp review. There is a tiny light spot in my right brow but that may be due to my skin bc it's always been a problem spot. I've gotten at least 1-2 complements per week on my eyebrows. That probably tells you how bad they were before or how f-ing good they look now. Haha.
