If I could give negative stars for Ivy, I would. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, and would only advise you to go if you want to get insulted on your looks, past tattoo jobs, etc. I just got back from here and put me in the worst mood ever for my weekend. Before I purchased the groupon for eyeliner tattoo, I called and let her know that I tried this 5 years ago, but my eyes would not stop tearing. She reassured me that she would be able to do the tattoo job even if someone naturally tears/cries. Even without any reviews or photos of eyeliner tattoo, I took the leap of faith and bought the groupon and made an appointment. As soon as I walk in, she tells her peer to come and see my eyebrows and mocks how the ink turned red brown. She continued to talk down on my botched eyebrow and eyeliner jobs. (for reference, please see Chloe's Style where I had it done that has 232 reviews with 4.5 stars compared to this place) She tells me to go into a room and continue filling out the paperwork. When I saw her rushing down the hall (my appointment was at 4 which I arrived for on time, this was around 4:10) I ask her if she has any samples/photos of her eyeliner jobs, she rudely tells me, "I DON'T HAVE TIME TO TALK TO YOU, I'M BUSY." Wow, that's nice to have someone tell you that during YOUR OWN appointment time, someone who's going to be putting a needle to your eyes. I was immediately turned off, especially as I would've considered Ivy for any future jobs if it turned out well. When she came back, I asked her straight up, "Do you not have time to do this?" because I sincerely would've left even though I took the time to make the appointment and come from my day of work. She tells me how busy she is and that she doesn't advertise her eyeliner tattoo and how she was going to take the groupon off because she was JUST TOO BUSY. She showed me zero photos and I continued to just be really put off by her. If you don't want to do it, then don't advertise it and don't make excuses. When she tried outlining the tattoo and I teared a little, she then went on how she can't do it if I tear. I then told her this was not what she proclaimed by phone and she was speechless. She totally discredited herself by showing she's a liar. She looks at my eyes and basically tells me that because my eyes are so small that the eyeliner tattoo will make my small eyes EVEN smaller. That my eyes weren't big like her eyes. This was getting super comedic at this point, me makeup less wanting to do something for myself, and someone covered in a made up face telling me that I was basically not good enough and got really horrible tattoo jobs. Even though I insisted I was okay getting the tattoos against her discretion, she continued to degrade me and what not. She kept telling me to get a refund at Groupon so by this time I was getting infuriated and took my paperwork, tore it up, and told her how she was rude and demeaning. She said she never said it that way, etc, B.S. Looking at all the reviews, it's apparent that for many, it's one of their few reviews, she must've asked/paid them to write the good review. Take my advice, don't come unless if you want to feel insulted and low about yourself. read more

Pregnancy did a number on my skin and left me with a bunch of cherry angiomas, and one in particular on my cheek which bothered me every time I looked at it :( I did a ton of research on different lasers that might remove it and discovered the "lamprobe". Orchid was the only spa I found in the whole south bay that offered this, so I decided to schedule an appt and see if it worked. Ivy was so nice and explained the procedure to me and put numbing cream on the spot so that I would not feel a thing. It was a quick and painless procedure, waiting for the numbing cream took longer than the whole procedure. The cherry angioma disappeared and a tiny little black dot took its place. It was a scab that fell off a week or so later and then nothing! No scar, no angioma! SO EXTREMELY happy especially because its my face! I will be back to get the others removed! I come by regularly to see Linh. She is by far the best deep tissue, pressure point, thai massage masseuse I've had. If you're worried about deep tissue hurting, she caters to your comfort level based on your feedback. She massages your muscles to loosen them up before going deep. This review is for VA - I found VA's IG page & saw all the beautiful lashes she did. I decided to give it a shot & contact her. She responded quickly & was able to answer all my questions. She was able to fit me in her schedule the same week. I got a facial & lash extensions. The facial was great. Very relaxing & my skin felt amazing after. Then she did my lashes & this was the first time I've ever gotten lash extensions so she recommended I go more natural. Her recommendation was perfect because I love my lashes! VA is an amazing aesthetician & is open to answer all the questions you have. She also gives you pointers on how to take care of your skin. Only downside & I did not dock stars for this is they are located right next to a bar so sometimes you can hear the music playing from your room. Even before I walked in, I noticed the grungy neighborhood, it makes one thinks "what is this place?" noisy bikers bar right next door... people smoking outside... eww... Once you walk in, you have that awful smell, I can't describe it, but definitely not appealing. I should've left, but thought to try a massage. It was ok, but the therapist did what she wanted even after I requested that it was too hard, she still put a lot of pressure. I do not recommend. I got the 60-minute deep tissue massage from groupon/living social (one of those things) and had Phuong work on me. She was really sweet and very professional. And for someone as tiny as she is, she is prettty strong. There were even times when I had to ask her to ease off on my back (only b/c i've had low back issues before), and she was very receptive and applied the perfect amount of pressure following. She made me feel very comfortable and I felt so relaxed that I even fell asleep for a bit. And even when I thought the massage was just about over, she had me flip over and worked on the other side for a good amount of time. Sooo awesome! I felt so good and relaxed after the massage that I completely forgot my Tiffany's necklace on the massage table under the blanket, and while I was pulling out of the parking lot onto the street, Phuong comes running and knocks on my back car windows to stop me before I drove away! She caught me right as I was turning onto the main street so as soon as I realized that it was her and not some crazy person, I pulled over and she returned to me my necklace. What a sweetie pie! I definitely would recommend this place to any of my friends. Phuong expressed to me that the salon was owned by her parents, and she worked there to help them out. I bought the Groupon 90-minute-deep-tissue-massage for $50 deal. It was an amazing 90 minutes of pure relaxation! Holly's great and very professional! She may be little, but she sure can deliver a good massage! All the knots in my shoulders and neck were gone by the end of the session. My entire body felt like jello when I walked out. I am practically falling asleep while writing this review in bed. The only downside is that the place is located right next to a bar, which has very loud music almost 24/7. The regulars at the bar can be a bit sketchy and tend to loiter near Orchid's entrance. But I suppose it can't be helped. read more

I was looking for a good place to get a massage after a good stretching and light workout. Driving down Bascom I noticed a lot of suspicious looking places. I ended up in Campbell and came across the Orchid. The place looked clean from the outside and walking in it looked even cleaner! The place was immaculate! I saw Holly sitting at the front desk and I must say she is cute. She was very professional and also a good conversationalist. I asked her for a firm massage and she delivered!!! This gal packs a punch for such a petite lady!!! I paid for an hour and received an hour of pampering. Was it clinical? If a good massage that relaxes the body and mind is considered clinical then I guess it was and I loved it. Holly turned my body into jello, I was relaxed and had a great weekend thanks to this delight!!! The combination of soft hands and elbow pressure was sinus-clearing!!! Delicious!!..Yes, my first hot stone massage (ever!) with Holly at Orchid Beauty & Spa was delicious! I wanted more and more. Holly greeted me with her warm smile, welcoming angelic face, and petite demeanor. Her soft voice expertly disguised what was to come: sheer delight! She may be small in stature, yet she handled me like a champ; the pressure was perfect. My last thoughts as a drifted into deep relaxation ranged from you cannot be serious, this is sooo good to how to stop time...No, how to make Holly forget about looking at the clock...No, how to extend the massage from 60 to 90 minutes to forever...to I'm just going to refuse to get off the table... Honestly, it was a bit tricky to find and the street noise,/music from the outside was noticeable, yet all concerns melted away and paled in comparison to the massage I was experiencing. I love this place!!!!!!! I have been going to Holly to get my eyebrows done for about 4-5 years now and I am NEVER disappointed ! She takes the time to really make them look perfect! The first time I went to her she asked my how I wanted them to look and I had no idea so I asked for her to do what she thinks would look best and they looked amazing! I had gotten them waxed before I found Orchid and every time they looked awful! I am just sooo thankful I found her! On top of that the second you walk in its so peaceful and relaxing! Linh is no longer there so I still decided to go. Linh was awesome so I had some high expectations since she use to get my knots out. I received a different person for my massage, I think Jenn? Anyways, massage only lasted for 50min and started 5 min later. For a light massage it was fine but I wanted a more deep tissue/Swedish massage but didn't get the strong massage I was looking for. She doesn't walk in backs either which is why I like this place. I will give this place another chance perhaps with a different masseuse but I've heard of a cheaper and good massage place in mathematics evergreen area that I may just go visit instead. read more

I've been getting facials, ect. for 20 years and I've never had better service then I have with Ivy. She is a master at her craft. She's a perfectionist with great communication skills. Some of the services I see Ivy for are: Microdermabrasion - Best ever! Facials Brow waxing/shaping - I don't go anywhere else eyelash extensions - wow, they are perfect and my regular lashes not only have no damage, they are longer??!! Massage - Oh her hands are wonderful And soon-------Micro-Blading (I can't wait) My only feedback to Orchid would be to update your selection of facial products and I wish they would sell what they you use on thier clients. I would not recommend this place for microblading. My mom and I went here to get our eyebrows microbladed and after less than a year both our eyebrows have turned a reddish tint. I am pretty disappointed especially after the reassurances and promised ivy made. I believe it is the ink she uses because my mom and I have both had our eyebrows embroidered before and although they have faded after a couple of years which is supposed to happen with semipermanent they have never turned red. read more

The facility and services are excellent! The flaw is that the deep tissue massage by Kim is not as deep as I'm used to. (It was still not deep after I asked.) I was asked to book the appointment on-line when I called. I did not reserve for Kim, but without explanations, I didn't get the person I made the appointment for. To begin with, the shop was closing up and I walked up to the door, and Iris was willing to make time for me on such short notice, which I appreciate. I've only had one other "manzillian" before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but there was no awkwardness or ceremony about it - just drop the pants and she goes to work. It's painful, I'm not going to lie, but Iris was as professional as you could want. Her deep tissue is second to none - she can go really deep and knows how to put just the right amount of pressure in the right places to relax the muscle without hurting. She is also great at stretches and gives an amazing scalp massage that is to die for.
