Saying goodbye after both kids have graduated is emotional, but we are filled with gratitude. My two oldest children stayed at Kindercare from the infants/ ones class until kindergarten. I have since returned to Kindercare 11 years later, welcoming another daughter into the infants room. Kindercare staff are the only people I trust with my children outside of family. I have developed relationships with Brandie and her amazing staff such as Tia and Maria who have been there since I first started. Kindercare has an amazing curriculum, friendly staff, great communication. They also provide updates and pictures of my child throughout the day on their user friendly app. There's no other place I would recommend to new parents!

Unfortunately, I cannot say that it has been a positive experience throughout her attendance because there have been several challenges amidst a few "good months". Initially the site seemed inviting and welcoming but we soon discovered that this center was largely focused on quantity over quality, numbers over value or the importance of establishing interpersonal relationships with clients/families. While we understand children's temperaments and personalities vary, we feel that several teachers/ members of staff did not demonstrate the capacity, grace or patience to work with children effectively (at least not ours). We were constantly called away from work to pick our daughter up for nuances and incidents that we felt could and should be handled by skilled/trained staff. Coincidentally there were rarely incident reports when our daughter was in the receiving end. Our daughter is very intelligent, inquisitive, confident, outspoken and decisive, she's quite vocal about how she is treated & independent but this was often misinterpreted as a negative behavior and observed as problematic. We as parents' worked diligently to address any/all issues that could be addressed concerning behavior but ultimately observed that as she was continuously being disciplined and her negative behaviors highlighted' we observed her slowly lose her spirit, zeal, fervor and enthusiasm to attend. At best, we dis-enrolled her because we don't want to curb her enthusiasm or change the trajectory of her scholastic experience at such a young and impressionable age. We would like her free-spirited demeanor, creativity, and exploration to be cultivated, supported and encouraged wherever she journeys next We are grateful for the opportunity for our daughter to have attended, garnered the friendships and interactive skills she has.

Childtime of Moreno Valley (CMV) wasn't our first choice initially since the "prestigious" daycare…read moreclose to us had a 1-year waitlist. When my daughter was a few months old, I visited about 4-5 other daycare centers to find an alternative. We had a decent nanny but it was getting expensive and we wanted more flexibility and reliability. We gradually transitioned my daughter from 2-days CMV/3-days nanny to full-time CMV. Looking back, we absolutely did the right thing. What led us to choose CMV was their camera-based app with real-time streaming, which others didn't provide. I also noticed the cheerful attitudes from staff, some of whom had their own kids enrolled. At the time, the reviews were low, but I reasoned with my husband and considered what situations would lead to those bad reviews, and we decided to drive a little extra to go to CMV. In the last 4 months, we have come to love CMV. There is a diverse group of kids, which is something our daughter may not encounter in our neighborhood. We love the dancing and singing activities-- we think at this age, it's important for her to just play and trust everyone she's around. We have been occasionally charmed by the calm, polite kids at the site. And ultimately, we have been floored by the smart and reliable communication with and between staff. who really have a lot of intuition about kids. It's not perfect: at times I don't see any kids on the real-time streaming app because they're outdoors or in another room. We'd love our daughter to have mostly organic food (I know, OTT). But CMV is a good operation. She got sick only twice and once happened right after she took her flu shot; we trust their hygiene standards. Our daughter has developed well there-- socially, emotionally, mentally, and physically (waving "hi", first words, standing/walking at 11.5 months).

In addition, everyone is taught to be friends with their peers and communicate unwanted behaviors directly to their peers. All class curriculum correlates daily in each classroom. My grandkids are learning many of the same subjects at their own level of intelligence. Each subject prepares or has prepared each child for higher education. For example, my granddaughter was promoted to Kindergarten. Classes started in mid August; by the third week in September she passes her kindergarten assessment by 95%. I attribute this achievement to Kindercare, Olivewood. Most importantly, the staff is professional, knowledgeable, and loving. I want to give a shoutout to all the teachers and administrators. You all rock. Special thanks for Ms. Phyllis for starting my day with a fresh cup of coffee. Also, Mrs. Farhanna for all the helpful suggestions and family support.
