I signed a waver that he could open walls if need be- He was there for maybe 45 minutes. He said he would come back when walls were open. I called when they were open but he wanted another 1400 dollars. My steel contractor called him 2 times to ask about the report and he never returned his call. I seriously do not get the 5 stars. I personally have never give a low rating - I barely do reviews. I could not let this go without a rating.

We hired Mugnier & Associates to provide structural analysis on a specific portion of our house…read morethat we were concerned with. We discussed our concern over the phone, received a quote to come by our house, write up a detailed report/analysis and provide a few Contractors who may be able to assist in resolving the issue. Mr. Mugnier came by our house and looked at the issue. He answered our questions and, in addition, he insisted on inspecting our basement (which was unrelated to the issue). When we received his report one week later, we were quite surprised to read just three sentences with general comments about the issue we hired him for. We reached out to request a more detailed report and received a few lines back which simply stated the area in question was "presently dangerous and cannot be used". Yeah we knew that) In addition, we requested the names of Contractors, and as of yet (we are just over a month out from his visit) we have not received any. Since Mr. Mugnier insisted on payment after his visit/before the report the written we have little recourse but to share our experience with the hope that others will take note.

The first thing out of the one of the employee's mouth (after greeting me) was, rudely downplaying my degree--I have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, which I am rather proud of that. After making it clear that they weren't particularly serious about my interest in the company, I asked them about one of their cogeneration projects. To which the same employee who downplayed my degree laughed and sarcastically asked me where I heard about that project. I said that I saw it online, to which he responded sarcastically, "That's on the website?" They both seemed to get a good laugh out of playing with me the whole time. Overall, I got little-to-no information about their company out of them nor any information about the positions that they were looking for. After realizing that they were just toying with me the entire time, I politely thanked them for their time, shook their hands, and left robbed of my dignity. When I looked back at their panel, they were laughing. I should note that I wasn't overly interested in the company in the first place and I was more using them as practice for talking to employers. I'm sure I slipped up a few times because I wasn't as prepared as I would have liked and made a slight fool of myself but that doesn't justify their toxic personalities. I'll definitely tell advise underclassmen to avoid that panel in the future.

He gave me some great feedback while he was there and gave me a realistic idea as to what to expect in terms of pricing of the repairs necessary for my home. His report was delivered prompty and went into great detail as to what needs to be repaired and his suggested repairs, down to exact measurements and types of materials to be used. I'm very happy with what we received and feel much better about engaging contractors to do the work necessary now that I know exactly what should be done.

Todd Bernard is amazing…read more I had some scary crawlspace issues and had a massive estimate from a local company to address those issues, but I wanted to get a second and third and fourth opinion. Todd came to my house and spent a good chunk of time with my in my 3' crawlspace, highlighting issues he saw, telling me what they meant to him, and identifying ways to mitigate those concerns. You can tell he cares because my crawlspace is absolutely horrifying: wet, musty, tons of spiders. You can tell he knows his stuff because he was more than happy to share his thoughts and then give non-technical explanations. Long story short, most of what I need to do is above ground or not within Todd's remit, but I know that I'll be working with New England Structural Works if I have any issues in the future.

I hired Liang (Andy) Cheng as a structural engineer to inspect the property. He was running late, so we told him to call/text when he arrived at the property. He didn't do that. Instead, he performed the entire inspection with the listing agent (aka not our realtor), not calling until he was done. When I got there, he told me that "everything was fine" and that there were "no problems". He took no photos and said it would take 2 days to have the report. Later questions uncovered the fact that he neglected to inspect many of the problem areas, for which I have attached some helpful reference photos. When I asked why, he said that he "didn't know he had to inspect [those areas". I reminded him that if he had done the inspection with me, instead of with the SELLER'S REAL ESTATE AGENT, he would have known. He seemed put off by this notion. Since he had an incomplete inspection, no photos, and no ability to generate a written report before our deadline, we were left with no choice but to terminate our professional relationship. I have no way to judge the quality of his work, as no service was performed. I can only recommend not hiring him.

They came check the bathroom apparently the water with the floor and the shower and everything had to be taken out center guys. Here they tore everything out. Did a lousy job left holes in my floor they got paid by my insurance company. I never saw a bill. They strong-armed me in signing that the work they had done was done to my satisfaction by telling me if I didn't sign my job would stop there being a senior citizen and handicapped I needed to have my bathroom repaired. After over a week and hearing nothing more, I complain to the insurance company and I told them they lowball the client to satisfy the insurance company and then do shotty work so they continue to get referrals from insurance companies. I was told to get my own contractor which I was allowed to do and I did waiting for approval on the estimate. I would never recommend them or use them again. They also wanted me to have my insurance company pay them directly. I refused I own my house outright. I don't need them to decide what gets paid and what does it. Do yourself a favor steer clear of them.

Insurscamm came to our house on Xmas Eve Eve when a giant tree crushed our roof. They claimed to…read morehave all the tradesmen we needed to repair and the expert project managers to get us back in our house. Two years and 3 project managers later we are still being ignored, stonewalled and lied to at every turn when they can be bothered to communicate with us at all. Deadlines and empty promises come and go with the one constant being professional malfeasance and refusal to respond to emails, texts and phone calls. Our first PM claimed they would do the plans to submit to the building inspector so we could start the repairs (and put $700 in their pocket the company never saw) and failed to produce them and delayed the project two months of implausible excuses. We paid (again) to have an independent architect do them so we could submit them and at the meeting with the builders and subs it became clear they had only looked at the plans to put their name on it and try to claim it as their own work and found out our thieving chemically addled PM filed the for the incorrect permits with the town and put our inspections out for months. Our (excellent) local builder cleared his entire Sept,October and December (of 2023!) to finish our project and via Insurscum's abject mismanagement of the entire process we are where we are, not in our house and no realistic plan to be back in soon. 2024 has been financially and personally devastating and taken a year out of our lives paying exorbitant rent on top of our Mortgage, (our housing expenses from the Insurance Co ran out a year ago.) All of this the management and officers of Insurcomm have made clear they are not interested in hearing about. Their resolution to people's concerns and complaints is to first make them pay for a 3rd party mediatior and then failing that to aggressively sue and refuse to release the personal property which they store at your charge. This they do to their customers that are 100% in crisis in varying levels using lies, panic peddling and sleazy used car salesman techniques (apologies to used car salesmen.) I feel the only thing we can do for now is to warn people to stay clear of Insurcomm. If anyone at Insurcomm would like to explain or dispute these objective facts we have been scrupulously documenting they can reach out they supposedly have our number, but I ain't going to wait up. My next posts will include the full names, photos and mugshots of all of the shady people we have dealt with here so others can spare themselves from any of the disrespectful and rude treatment we are still experiencing.
