Great place, next to Reunion restaurant. Large selection of cigars and everything else cigar related. There is a lounge area with at least 10 large leather chairs to lounge in and smoke your cigar. There are M&M's for you also on the tables in large containers. Great environment and everyone is friendly and will talk with you, or you can smoke and have quiet. Pretty new to smoking cigars and I always feel nervous coming to these types of cigar shops. Walked in, was greeted by the guy in the front. Walked around the humidor for a good 20 minutes until the guy from the front (sorry man i forgot your name) came in and helped me decide. Ignore randy h... the dude is obviously a troll on yelp. three reviews, zero friends.. you can spot people who come on to intentionally trash/sabotage businesses pretty quickly. anyway, i've been coming to this lounge for almost a year and i love it. not having really any experience with cigars prior, i've found the staff and the owners all to be extremely helpful in getting me started and helping me to discover what i like. since starting a rather healthy cigar habit i've gone to many other shops and embassy has by far one of the best selections in it's ridiculously huge humidor. the lounge, too, is beautifully done. a lot of time and money was put into decorating it, and you'd be hard pressed to find a shop that's as cozy, classy (seriously) and hospitable. as for the prices, they're the lowest i've found for point of sale purchases. you can always find cheaper prices online, but that's not really the point of smoking. you support the shop that you call home. contrary to what "randy h." would have you believe you can go in and feel at home whether you're a regular or not. it doesn't take much to catch an intentional business killing statement. pretty lame tactic, dude. summary: this is a great shop. the best looking, with the best selection, with the friendliest staff, and the most reasonable prices. the regulars are friendly (i should know) and the seats are comfortable. Embassy is a decent cigar location. The parking is plentiful but the hours are scarce. The lounge itself is nice. Can get a bit stuffy but whatevers. As for pricing, Emb is a bit on the pricey side. The selection is ginormous. The humidor is large and stocked nicely with numerous well known brands. Emb doesn't carry the smaller cigar companies but will have the usual suspects. read more

I've spent over 10k on Opusx Cigars over the past 2 months at this place. Thought I was getting hooked up but now I know he over charges by 250%. When I purchase the opus x at his shop he didn't allow us to smoke it in the lounge, I always wondered why. Now I know it's because I'm being over charge tremendously and he didn't want anyone to tell me how much he is over charging us. I went to a lounge in Beverly Hills the other day and found out how much he is over charging me. I bought 10k worth of cigars and got boxes of rare opus x for $1200 to $1900 per box over there. He charged me $3000 to $5000. He's been charging me $250 to $350 per cigar and i was buying 5k $ at a time. I understand you must make profit but this is ridiculous. I will never buy from him or sit in his lounge ever again. Make sure you check out other places before heading here, if you don't know any better he'll get you. read more

Great place to enjoy a top notch cigar. Great choices. The guys are knowledgeable and I've always followed their advice and been very pleased. After a few questions you get a cigar that always seems better than what was my previous favorite smoke. Though they have to deal with the foolish California hypocritical taxes the prices are value priced. If you come on Tuesday or Sunday you are able to get a free gar if you buy 4. Met a friend here when he was buying time and just relaxing. This was really my 1st Cigar shop experience even though I didn't smoke one. We were greeted by the person running the joint and kindly let us in to pick out a cigar. After my friend picked his out he was rung up and we then headed towards the back for him to smoke. It was a nice setup with big comfortable chairs. With three tv's. two were on sports and the main one was on a movie with the sound. So the other two sports had no sound. It was fairly empty with only one person. Then more people started to arrive. It seemed as almost like it was a spot for men to relax and do what they need to do before heading home to the fam. Some would come in from work with their work clothes still on. There were also mixed nuts and other snacks available for you too much on. It seemed that pretty much everyone knew everyone but when a person walked in to the back he would greet everybody. Some had their own lockers where they would keep their cigars and whisky or scotch. Very Nice looking lockers as well. This seemed like an overall great place to chill hang out and make some friends. Almost reminded you of Cheers but instead of serving alcohol they serve Cigars. When we left also everyone told us goodbye and to have a great day etc. Very Warm Feeling. Was looking for some 858's, tried Eight Eighty 8 in Fullerton but they were out. Called Embassy Cigars because I had just received an email for 25% off a Box (or at least 20 cigars). On the phone they stated $171.00. When I got there they ended up being $291.00 ($138.00 on line, Holts). I mentioned that I had just called and got the $171.00 and his response was "It is what it is", and there was tobacco tax. Needless to say I was not happy and said that this was pathetic and some other naughty words. The owner actually called me later to say the he said plus tax, but I assumed that the tax would be sales tax, not tobacco tax which is calculated on the wholesale cost of the cigars which would be difficult for me to calculate. This place is pretty chill. The back room is dope, but, this is my back-up back up cigar spot (after la habra tobacconist & vendome) when i need my cigar fix. My back up back up back up back up is in d/t fullerton, the 88 lounge... The selection is unique. Carries most of the Fuente, Oliva, Patel lines with smaller lines here and there. Strange thing is, the dude carries my 4th favorite, Punch Rare Corojo in the Fat size (pressed). It's hard to find (i don't buy cigars online). As for pricing, this place is appx 10% to 30% more than most places (i.e. Cain the fatty ring (5x60) is normally $9 bucks but he has em for $11 or $12 range), not saying it's going to kill u but cigars are a luxury and pricing is mostly ignored. Unless it's just outrageous like getting fake cubans for $20.00. That's fighting words. The boss is friendly (of course he's gona be nice n all) and this is also a good sunday afternoon spot. With such great reviews, I had to check this place out myself. As I walked in Anjal introduced himself and to let him know if I need any help as he pointed the way to the humidor. What a selection! They had a lot of my favorites and a few I've only heard about. After a while Anjal looked in to see if I had any questions and he was very helpful. After deciding on a couple of sticks, I thought, I'm here might as well check out the back room and smoke one of them. Met a couple of regulars judging from their conversation and a while Anjal came by to make introductions. Very comfortable seats and the big screen TV is the perfect size for the room. Angel knows his stuff and this place is great. They've got premium cigars, pipes, and accessories. The cigar selection is huge and their humidor room is well stocked. They have a nice members-only area to smoke in, but the 'guest' lounge is a tad bit lacking. Not too terrible, though -- chairs are comfy enough and the TV was on ESPN. Angel was very helpful. I spent over two days and numerous hours to get everything I was looking for. He helped me go through their collection of cigars and pick out things I may like based on the profile I preferred. He also spent hours going through their lighters and humidors. I was not in the market for one but I saw a few that really tickled my interests. Overall, place looks beautiful and relaxing. Guy that runs this place is ridiculous. Like most of the legitimate (unlike all the members who leave fake positive reviews) reviews state... the store is oozing with snobbery and uneasy cockiness. In the 8 minutes I was taking a look around he irritatingly harrased me about 3 or 4 times despite telling him I was fine and was looking at the selection. I'm well versed in cigars and do not need someone holding my hand. I was looking to pick up a box for a trip and he walked in the last time and said "We look with our eyes, not with our hands. If any cigars get messed up we're going to have some problems." I guess borderline threatening people is an acceptable way to operate a busienss. One day someone may not take it so well. Taking a look at a cigar box lid isn't going to damage anything. It's no wonder all the sticks are covered in dust, cracking, and the place was empty. Good riddance. read more
