We stayed here for 5 nights while attending Sonic Temple. The room itself was spacious, and clean, the AC did not work, we requested a fan and luckily the temperature outside was not too warm so we were somewhat comfortable. Upon leaving our room to attend day #2 of the festival we discovered our SUV had been stolen from the front parking lot. We filed a police report with the Columbus PD and were informed by law enforcement that this hotel parking lot was routinely targeted for vehicle break-ins and property crime. Upon asking the manager to review video surveillance we were told the cameras were monitored by a 3rd party and would be contacted at a later date. I purposely parked my SUV in direct view of what appeared to be a working camera for this very reason. Upon further investigation from law enforcement it was determined the cameras did not work... We were under the impression per the website, the parking lot was under 24/7 video surveillance and had active night security. In the 5 days we stayed we witnessed a security patrol one time and that was only after we had the police there for our stolen vehicle. This hotel is very much aware of the property crime that has taken place on their property in the past and still failed to provide adequate protection for the property of their guest. Stayed here 7/11-7/12/25 and the room was still dirty with hair in the bathroom, the AC didn't cool off the room, and we woke up the next morning to being asked to check our cars because multiple cars had their windows smashed into. Spent a weekend at their Oshkosh Wisconsin hotel and it had a beautiful foyer and reception area. The facility looks to be fairly new and was exceptionally clean. The king size beds were very comfortable (the recent trend in hotel pillows are a bit too soft for my liking. One isn't enough and two are a bit too lofty). The room had a large tv with cable, a desk and a leather recliner and side table. Refrigerator and personal size Keurig with coffee and tea provided. All the employees were friendly and helpful and the hot breakfast (which included a fruit and pastry buffet) was fast and delicious. Breakfast isn't included in the nightly rate but was reasonably priced. Next to Whitman field and close to almost everything Oshkosh has to offer with easy highway access. read more

BE AWARE...PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! I had a very upsetting experience at the Embassy Suites by Hilton at 2700 Corporate exchange Dr in Columbus, OH and feel obligated to share to warn others. While staying at this location, my car was broken into right in the front parking lot along with nine (9) other vehicles -- the driver's side window was shattered. To make matters worse, the front desk staff showed absolutely no empathy or concern. No one offered to help, check cameras, or even check on me while I waited. It took over two hours for the police to arrive, and during that entire time, not a single staff member followed up or offered any assistance. I expected more from a hotel brand like the Embassy Suites -- at the very least, some acknowledgment of the situation or support for a guest who just had their vehicle vandalized and hours away from home. This lack of care and basic hospitality was honestly more upsetting than the break-in itself. If you're staying here, be extremely cautious about parking and don't expect much help if something goes wrong. read more

We stayed here five years ago and the experience was much better, but this time the only thing it provided well is a case of the icks. There is a woman who worked the front desk who treated us like absolute garbage. A couple of older woman working the breakfast made to order station who treated everyone who requested something like it was the worlds biggest inconvenience to them to.....you know, do their job. I left the line bc there is absolutely no way any kind of eggs are worth that treatment. I asked for a to go box so I could take my three year old's waffles up to the room. The "employee" told me I needed to wait and she would get it when she was done making waffles for her and her co-worker (the mean egg lady). When the mean egg lady heard her say that, she didn't offer to get me the to go box, but instead yelled to the other employee, "make sure you put two in the box for me!" There are too many options in Columbus....too many WAYYYYY Better options. Save yourself the grief. read more

This hotel is very dated. The first room they gave us smelled so bad, possibly something to cover up cigarette smoke?, the next room the card keys rarely worked. We had to go to the lobby about 7-8 times in 2 days to get new keys to get in the room. They made the excuse of a new system but it was SO bad and they didn't even apologize. We stayed one night here. The room and hotel were nice, however a child almost drowned Saturday night and had to be sent to the ER which resulted in the pool being closed. Then Sunday morning a child pulled a fire alarm and it continued to go off for over 30 minutes. This was an awful experience and I will not be returning. Amazing stay with all the amenities! Breakfast: lots of options, though the custom, fresh omelette bar is by far the best! Evening happy hour: such a nice treat! Open bar where you can get soft drinks, wine and even some types of liquor for free! Snacks include pretty healthy options, like hummus+veggies and nut mix, as well as chips+salsa. Airport shuttle: Free and fast! Saves you $15 each way on an Uber. Just call ahead of time, as the shuttle only runs upon request. Large rooms with nice features: I totally appreciate the separate bedroom to have some space from your travel party. The living room has its own large sink, refrigerator and microwave. Gym/pool: Unfortunately the hot tub was closed for maintenance. The gym was decent. A bench and dumbbells plus a couple treadmills was the extent, but also all you need. The location is close to the airport, but thankfully it's not actually loud! The hotel also backs up to a nice walking trail...great for a morning stroll to help digest that breakfast! Weekend hotel stay at Embassy Suites left much to reconsider as loyal Hilton customers. The toilet clogged after 1st use. When we called to the front desk for assistance, the only resolution meant for us walking to front desk to get paper towels, a plunger, disinfectant, and towels for the mess. The clog was pretty severe. I understand that this happens but as customers for the highly rated hotel, I expect more from Hilton hotel owners. When asked if we could get a discount on our stay for having to unclog the toilet, front desk staff said we would require manager approval but no manager was on shift. Ok fine, we will take it up with corporate during business hours. Upon using the shower, hair was stuck the wall prior to using. As a homeschool mom accustomed to managing a home and disinfecting bathrooms, I get to work on what was supposed to be a restful stay. At least I am equipped with the disinfectant provided for our toilet. 0% in the zero% conditioner. Really? Kids running through halls and playing on elevators without supervision. Was in Columbus for a 2 day conference. The location was perfect distance from the conference. Stayed overnight at this hotel. I had a positive experience. The staff person who checked me in was great. Got early check in which was helpful. The free got breakfast was a definite bonus. I really liked the room. It was clean and everything I needed was there. The bed was comfortable. I utilized the Wi-Fi for work and had no issues. The staff that I interacted with were all positive and helpful. We were limited on the hotels we could get for the weekend we traveled [July 2024]. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We checked in and got our FIRST room...there was (head) hair and pubic hair all over the bathtub and on the floor. The bed also looked like it was just made and not changed with fresh sheets. The drawers to the tv stand (3 of them) would not close and looked like it would fall over at any time. Called the front desk and requested that either we get the room cleaned or get a new room. We got a SECOND room...there was (head) hair again and more pubic hair in the bathtub. Could not tell for sure if the bed was fresh or just remade. The sheets lacked any type of fresh washed crispness. Went down and got the front desk staff to come up and see the new room so they could see how poorly cleaned it was. The supervisor got upset when I told her she and threw a cleaning bottle towards the front desk and said she was not upset with me but at the cleaning crew, which only work in the morning. But the lack of cool-temperament was an astounding thing to display to a customer. When we went to the room, I noticed the mirror was covered in filth and was not cleaned as well. She agreed the room was not cleaned and looked to find another room for us. We get our THIRD room of the night and she checked to make sure the room was cleaned before we went in, however, we didn't see it before she reviewed it. So, it could have been just like the other two. It passed at first, but when we went to move the throw pillows, the body-odor that was on the pillows almost made us throw up because it smelled so bad! It took us each three hand washings to get the smell off our hands. We had been driving for 13 hours up to this point and it was late into the night, so we were essentially stuck with the situation. We checked the bed and there were stains on the sheets...brown ones. We used the extra sheets from all three rooms we had the keys to and just made multiple layers so we could get to sleep...as disgusting as it was. We both wore as many sleepwear layers as we could (socks, long pants, long sleeves, etc.) to offer even more protection. However, we both had an extreme case of the icks through the night and could only get a couple hours of sleep. Aside from the three room rotation for us, the hotel was even dirtier if you can believe that. The trashcans out front were overflowing from trash that looked like multiple days worth. The elevator had tiles missing on the floor. The topper of the night was human fecal matter on the floor outside the elevator on one of the floors! AND NOBODY CLEANED IT!! This review may seem like I am picking on this hotel and making things up, but I assure you this is all true. This was the most disgusting hotels I have ever stayed at and refuse to use Embassy Suites of any kind in the future in any city. This hotel needs a reboot or staff really needs to be retrained in ALL AREAS. read more

First, it looks old. Needs new carpet, new paint, and updated room furniture. I'm sure at the time when this place opened it was ahead of its time, but now 30 years later its old school. Elevators are slow, business center has no a/c and only one computer prints. They even put a fan in the business center; really? Our room needed updating and the feeling is very dark and depressing. Breakfast is spread out in different areas. I only found out on day 3 where toast was around the corner. Complimentary drinks in the evening has a two drink limit--that's lame. Air circulation is awful. I could smell the breakfast coming up to my 7th floor room through the bottom of door. Elevators are super slow and a bell rings for each floor even when it doesn't stop--irritating. Internet failed to work from our bedroom. Kept cutting out in living room. They told me to call AT&T, and even they admitted there was an issue that could not be fixed. All in all a 3 night stay that was a bit of a disappointment. read more

I am here on my 3rd stay at embassy suites. The first two were great, my third, not so much. Now I always knew that hotels sometimes didn't change the sheets and all that but this experience was beyond worse. I started to take a shower and I noticed that the water wasn't going down. Again I brushed it off and I was just like okay whatever. But as the water got higher I realized that it was sort of brown. I moved the shower curtain to the side and behind it was built up dirt from other guests that have used the room before I did. They allow music to be played loud enough to echo throughout the entire hotel until ridiculously late times. Things in our room were vibrating due to the load music. I called the front desk and they did nothing about it. The pool are is constantly overcrowded, and the water is freezing cold. The bar, and lounge area was freezing cold from the front doors. The food, and drinks are overpriced. It took the bartender a long time to serve guests. Kids were running wild throughout the entire hotel unsupervised. Worst experience I've ever had with staff at any business. I went here this summer and I wish I were exaggerating about how horrible it was. The hotel room itself reeked so badly that my friend and I jokingly referred it as the "urine room" all weekend. I accidentally left a bag with my prescription medications and toiletries and quickly called them the day I checked out. They were reassuring and told me it would be mailed the next day. I called the next day and they said it would be shipped the day after. This continued for six days and a few hours of being put on hold. After pointing out that they were lying to me and not following through, they told me to talk to the manager, Brian. It took me three days (Wednesday through friday) to get in touch with Brian; he was on break, then at lunch, then they couldn't find him. Each time, they said they would leave him a message that I called and that he would call me back. He never did and they still hadn't shipped my bag 7 days later. Once I was desperate for my medication (and toothbrush!) I finally got ahold of him and it was the most demeaning and petty someone has ever spoken to me, but he did say he would take 50 dollars off my bill for the inconvenience and the three hours total I spent on the phone trying to speak to anyone at this hell hole who could help me. I called the next day to ask when that would be reflected on my account and the person on the phone said "that is not how we do things but I'll talk to Brian and see if he wants to send you money out of his own pocket." I didn't get his name but he identified himself as Brian's superior. Horribly demeaning, unprofessional, and petty behavior towards someone who was just desperate to get their medicine and toiletries back. Love the size of the rooms and the first time we stayed here was great but every time since it's been headed down hill. This morning the breakfast was extremely disappointing the hot stuff is cold and the cold stuff is warm, the butter and cream cheese were left to sit with out being kept cold, the toppings for pancakes were not in a warmer. I came here with my two children, 3 and 4 year old boys. We drove up and stayed here so we could visit the Columbus Zoo. Overall, we had a nice visit. The made to order breakfast was amazing. Everything was fresh and hot. The room was very clean as well. Unfortunately, we were staying the same weekend that a traveling basketball team was staying as well. My children and I did not get to enjoy the pool at all, which is part of the reason we chose this hotel. Rowdy, unsupervised, teenagers in the pool. If the pool was supervised by an employee, I would have given 5 stars. Definitely a downfall for an otherwise good experience. read more
