Check in was smooth. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and efficient. The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom is huge! We had a great view of the west side of Columbus. Our bartender Ryan was awesome.

Broken elevator
Rick S.

We checked in and got on the elevator to our room. It got stuck between floors and we were trapped for 45 minutes. Apparently some drunk people from an event jumped in the elevator right before us and broke something that caused it to malfunction when we got in. The fire department had to come pry the doors open. We literally had to crawl out through a small opening with our luggage (see photo). And the other elevators? Also problematic. Rattling, doors scraping when opening and closing. Clearly this building has serious elevator maintenance issues. Other problems: The minibar had expired items. When we checked out, the valet gave us the wrong set of keys - someone else's car keys. Management response: Complete silence. We stayed for 3 nights and not one person from management came to check on us, called our room, or even acknowledged this happened. Nothing. When I brought it up at checkout and said I expected to hear from someone, they finally called 5 hours later. Their offer? 50% off the room and free minibar. That's it. For being trapped in an elevator for 45 minutes and having to be rescued by firefighters? The only person who actually helped was Liz at the front desk. She was great. Bottom line: This hotel has serious problems. Drunk guests breaking elevators, poor maintenance, and management that ghosts you when something goes wrong. Stay somewhere else.

First review of 2025! We had a wonderful stay at Hotel LeVeque and absolutely recommend! The service was excellent, and the room was clean, spacious, and luxurious. I especially loved the shower. There was a star light projector, which lit up the bedroom ceiling with stars and constellations which i loved and thought it was unique and relaxing for bedtime. We live roughly a mile away so this stay was for the New Year celebration, and we brought our dog with us. The hotel was very accommodating to dogs and a non-refundable $100 pet fee was applied. The valet parking was convenient, and check-in was friendly and seamless. The room included great amenities like a King Size bed, separate area for the toilet, there was a coffee maker, refrigerator, nice size flat screen, a blow dryer, and iron, although it didn't have a full-size ironing board. The New Year's Eve festivities were a highlight, with a balloon drop, a live band, and drinks in the lobby, creating a festive and memorable atmosphere. We also dined at THE KEEP, which was not a great experience, but that's another business and sperate review. Overall, Hotel LeVeque provided the perfect NYE getaway. We have been here to dine, and for a magic show, but was nice to spend the night. If you are reading this, it's a great hotel and located downtown Columbus in the Historic LeVeque Tower. https://www.hotellevequecolumbus.com/

This hotel was beautiful! We are becoming fans of the Autograph Collection and this one exceeded our expectations! We had the a very pleasant stay here! Staff we encountered were extremely attentive and very pleasant! Rooms were so cute, very clean, classy and welcoming with great views. You also can sleep under the stars here! We also loved the bathroom setup too. The room had a mini fridge and a pricey little bar with snacks and drinks available if you wish to partake and can't reach a store. The room not have a microwave. The lobby was also very gorgeous! Lots of photo ops. Valet parking was $ 45.00 however; we parked a few steps away in public parking overnight for $ 13.00 instead. Starbucks - let me repeat that with even more excitement...STARBUCKS is located in the lobby! The restaurant in the lobby served breakfast for a few dollars as well. Looks like there is a bit of renovation going on outside however; you forget all about that when you enter! We would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely return! Wish we could have stayed longer. We are fans.

From Trinity at the front desk, Mike in the bar, Michael, Brent and Yordi , the managers, and EVERY staff member here at the hotel who made us feel so welcomed we had a lovely stay here. This staff is simply put amazing and they care about your well being as their guest. And all strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. And they succeeded! awe were in town for a wedding and they took amazing care of the hubby and I! We had a lovely view of the bridge and the river from our 6th floor room which was delightful. Great spot to stay if you're in Columbus.

This hotel is absolutely incredible. I stayed here last winter around Christmastime and there was a spectacular gingerbread hotel in the lobby. The room was nice and clean, and the shower was super spacious. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Service is a bit slow in the morning, but the food certainly made up for that.

I'm delighted to review this elegant escape for multiple reasons! This was our second visit here and it did not disappoint. I'm only going to review the hotel itself and the incredible staff, (unfortunately, yet again, "The Keep" restaurant experience was disappointing, burnt burger for starters, and can't put my finger on it exactly, but it's as if we were an inconvenience to some of the crabby female bar staff in particular, we will just leave it at that..) But, back to the Hotel Le Veque... Every detail is glowingly obvious the minute you walk in the door. You feel as though you've stepped back in time as you are immersed in the art deco styling. I could not get over how fresh and delightful the smells were! Even in the elevator..like the smell of vacation and spring flowers and I don't even know what yummy diffuser concoction! The front desk staff were genuinely happy to see us and had a treat for our dog every time we walked by. The little things are what impressed me the most.. they offered to help us in every way...the housekeeper greeted me with the warmest smile and enthusiasm..truly a kind human working hard to make us happy! Our room was exceptional and very quiet and comfortable. Beautiful views from the 9th floor! Without question we will be back when we want an escape that is worth every penny!

Even though I booked through hotels.com, I'm also a Marriott Bonvoy card holder, so they were nice enough to give us an upgraded room. The parking however, really stiffs you in the bum. $40 or 50 with valet or garage, and it was so frigid outside, icicles were forming on our clothes. Normally, I'm valet all the way, but this trip was budgeted since we are limiting our fancy pantsy nights out in order to save some moolah this year. Use SpotHero app, we saved more than half for overnight parking. Was much better the more after walking back. And mostly it's a really gorgeous hotel. It gives me that great Gatsby feeling. Everyone was super professional, and I was thrilled with the upgrade. That nostalgic feeling and then the modern touches really bring it all together. We had a bit of time before dinner, so we thought we'd head up to the room kick our shoes off and relax on one of the most comfortable beds I've been in, in this lifetime. If you ever thought about having a small party in the bathroom, it could probably be arranged. It felt like I was back at my gym spot and Chicago if you know it, East Bank. Perfect pressure. Very spacious. A big midwestern guy could quite literally stand in the middle, do a circle, and not hit a wall. I'm only docking it one star, because when I called down to the front desk to see if they had any snacks they could bring up or maybe I could go down and see if there was something I could munch on before dinner, the phone is as old school as the one I grew up with with the coiled rings around it. The cable kept separating from the backing, and there was so much static. I tried about six or seven calls downstairs, and it was so scratchy, I barely heard what he said, and vice versa so I gave up. They could use better phones for sure. Otherwise, very very comfortable bed after a night out for dinner and dancing. Hard to get out of bed the next morning. Pillows to blame. Perfect. Could've left my other half to head home while I laid there for eternity.

Ask the Community - Hotel LeVeque, Autograph Collection

Where exactly is Hotel LeVeque's parking lot few blocks away?

It is not a few blocks away. It is actually the block next to the hotel. They do have interior corridors for guest to walk thru. So basically the hotel itself takes up one block and the next block is the parking garage.

My only qualm was I really stayed at Hampton because I love my breakfast waffles. One of the waffle machines was broken and the one that was working kept sticking the waffles; but again that's just a qualm because I was super hyped for breakfast. Overall breakfast was yummy! Checkout again was super easy and I was out in literally less than a minute! 10/10 would recommend and probably stay here again if I needed a hotel.

I was told that my Honors Member rate would be booked for the full stay. At check in, the reservation I made was not even for the correct number of nights. I booked for Wednesday thru Sunday but they only had my block of rooms for Wednesday and Thursday. We were told to come down and check out and check back in the following day. When we came down in the morning to take care of this, that front desk person said we should not have had to check in and check out and move rooms even though this is what we were told upon arrival. We then find out that our rate has gone from $187 to approximately $500 a night for the remaining stay. Of course we are shocked. We went to speak to the manager and he was not willing to meet us in the middle to find a solution. He gave us a hard no and said you won't find another hotel in this area for the remaining days. We found another hotel, three rooms left and did not stay and found other accommodations. I think there were enough issues with our reservations and being told a different story depending upon who we spoke with that the hotel. It is unfortunate that they seemed to not care to loose guests and two rooms. I am truly floored by the switch and bait and also that management/staff really seemed to not be bothered. We might only be 6 guests total but they just lost customers who that will never book with this hotel chain again.

Nice hotel. it's definitely the hang out place, haha. Definitely hip and cool…read more The location seems off downtown, about a mile or so away from downtown. The place is gorgeous, well put together. The hotel staff were very attentive. A small hiccup on checking in. I was already charged through a booking website but when I arrived they said my booking was cancelled. Odd but quickly fixed. I took advantage of the welcome cocktail -- well, I asked for mine to be a mocktail. If you're looking for an alcohol substitute, you'd like it. If you're looking for juice with a flair, you will not. The bartender really loves what he does and that was nice. I also took advantage of the free COSI tickets. Lovely museum. Room was clean. Bed was nice. Shower was nice. Would've been better if it had a handheld shower head component. Downsides The walls are THIN. Unfortunately, I was privy to some extracurricular activities. Fortunately, it was short and not repeated. The steamer was dirty and not so great, and the wifi was soo slow. The bathroom needed more hooks. You could hang a towel but then you couldn't hang your wash cloth. If you needed a space to steam your clothes, you couldn't have your towel or wash cloth up. Lastly, they only gave me one wash cloth lol I did ask for more and it took a little while to get it. I think they got sidetracked because when I called down to the desk, it was there within 15 minutes.

It offers all the amenities you would expect to find from the bar to the fitness room. I was upstairs for the event space. The room was crowded for the event but then again there was probably over 400 ladies there for that fitness sampler event alone. I was impressed by the venue, I know many didn't like how small spaces and maybe The Westin would be up your alley if you need a bigger space. This hotel was designed with class I can tell. I even heard they have a rooftop area where many events take place as well. Props to the architect that came up with The Junto. I like the idea here. I will have to book a nights stay soon!

I felt $39 for valet parking was very high, especially since the first night my car was not even parked in their lot. I actually felt that they should have refunded part of the valet fee since my car was parked a block and a half away in an unattended lot. I actually felt that for $39 per night that the cars should have been in a garage. The hotel was nice, though we were looking for something to eat late at night after 10:00 p.m. and didn't realize that the sports bar stop serving food after 10:00 p.m. and the restaurant upstairs was packed and very loud. We ended up ordering out doordash which was easier and quicker especially since it was pouring down rain outside. The desk wasn't always staffed while we were there, that included when we called on the phone at 7:00 p.m. to speak with someone and the phone just rang and rang and rang, it also included daytime when we were looking to speak with someone at the front desk and there was no one there. A desk in a downtown hotel should be staffed 24 hours a day. When we booked our room I didn't realize my mother would need a handicapped room. When we finally did get a hold of someone a little bit after 7:00 on that first evening we were able to move to a room that was supposedly handicapped but wasn't quite as I expected it would be. Yes there were rails everywhere in the bathroom but the toilet was low and what really blew my mind was there was a bathtub and anyone who's handicapped like let's say in a wheelchair is not going to be able to get into the bathtub or out very easily. There was a seat underneath the sink that could be set up in the tub but how would somebody if they were handicapped get into and out of it. The first room we had had a nice shower that you could practically walk in without having to climb over the edge of a bathtub. I would have felt that would have been much better of an option for someone handicapped. Drawer space in both rooms was non-existent. In the handicap room there was one drawer underneath the fridge. In the other room there were two drawers. We were there for the weekend, we operated out of the suitcase. They were all so only four hangers. It seemed to me a bit ridiculous that there wasn't enough storage space for someone who might want to unpack if they were there for a week or longer than a weekend. In fact, I've never been in a Marriott hotel that didn't have more storage than this one. It was a bit odd to me. The staff was friendly, helpful, the little store downstairs was nice to pick up some drinks or some snacks, I'm unsure where we would have heated up the frozen dinner or pizza that were in the freezer in that little store since we didn't have a microwave in our hotel room. It was nice that the hotel was close to comfest that was happening while we were visiting the area and that North market was just a block up. It was nice that you could walk to things and weren't always reliant on your car. Again I really wanted to like this hotel thoroughly, but there were just things that didn't make sense and were problematic to me. But since we were there for an event, we didn't have a choice of the hotel for that event.

We also called to request a pillow and blanket since we had a pullout couch...And they just delivered us two sheets. No pillow, no comforter, and nothing supplied in the room. Had a bite to eat at the downstairs bar again. Food was good, but bartender both Friday and Saturday night didn't seem like he wanted to be there. No personality and seemed annoyed when we would order drinks or food. Just had a very lazy attitude about him. We did head up to the rooftop bar this time and it was amazing. Bartenders were super friendly and the views were beautiful at night.
