If you have to go to the Columbus Convention Center, then the Hilton is one of the best options. It has a modern decor, good restaurants and bars, and you can get to the convention center without going outside, which is nice if you don't want your feathery suede cotton-candy Wonder Woman outfit to get wet on a rainy day. This actually at least two buildings as there's the hotel where you check in and park and all that jazz, then there's another hotel across the street, which you can get to via a skyway across one of the downtown Columbus streets. There's also a restaurant or two there as well. Rooms were nice in the "old" hotel (the one I was in) and I didn't have any problems and slept pretty well. The pillows were acceptable and my room actually had a desk which seems to be something I've been having trouble with lately. I'd stay here again if I was coming to the Convention Center. I'd come back just to eat at that FYR restaurant. Great experience all around there. I only wish there was a Piada close by...

We just spent six nights there for a convention. Our travels are all out of our own pocket, so we value great service and the feeling that we're getting our money's worth, and this Hilton excelled in these. Because of our busy schedule, all the meals we ate there were in the Sparx lobby bar in the 402 tower. It wasn't fine dining, more like pub food, but the smash burger, and the fries that accompany it, were especially good. I ordered it twice while we were there, and I even ate every fry the second time, which isn't at all usual for me. By the time we left, several of the bartenders were like family to us. They all also seemed to enjoy working with each other, which is huge to us. Even with large crowds dispersing at the same time from our events, the elevators handled the high traffic well and cleared quickly. This is also huge for us at this type of event. The only thing lacking were handicapped-accessible front doors - there were no automatic door buttons, which surprised me in a hotel this large and well-appointed. I use a mobility scooter at these events with a lot of walking, and had to wait each time I went in or out for someone to come and hold the door. Fortunately it was only an inconvenience because there was usually someone nearby who could help, but again, I was surprised. Our room on the 14th floor was roomy and nice, the bed was comfortable, and we loved the little touches like power drapes, an auto-sensor on the bathroom light, and the extra plug and usb port built into each nightstand. The same convention is in the same place next year, and we're already looking forward to being there, and hopefully seeing everyone again!

This is really a great place to stay, and I enjoy frequenting this specific Hilton. The staff are eager to help with any of your concerns, and you have a live person to answer the phone 24/7. There is an indoor pool/whirlpool which I can appreciate. The fitness room is top of the line, and is adjacent to the indoor pool. There is more than one lobby, and this location actually has two separate hotel buildings, joined by a bridge. The Convention Center is located in between the two.

I enjoyed a stay in the downtown Hilton for a conference in mid-June 2025. Lots of pluses. First, the location is right next to the convention center and has meeting rooms on the lower level. Second, it's just a few minutes walk from the Short North area (with nice coffee shops, Goodale Park, and a variety of restaurants). Or you can walk for 10-15 minutes south to the Ohio Statehouse which is past the Nationwide Business Center. Third, the room interiors seem to have been recently renovated. Fourth, it has a decent fitness center. Self-parking was $25 per night without in-and-out privileges.

The room was amazing, great view. The staff is always ready to help. We had a drink at the roof top bar. Jews are great and the young man who took and delivered our drinks was amazing Please get plastic straws back. You need to gulp the drink down because of the ice.

This is a great location in downtown Columbus, attached to the convention center. I stayed here many times over the years but not since it's been renovated. It looks great, and our room on the 24th floor had great views of the city from two sides. Quiet. Spacious.

We really enjoyed our stay here in the new tower. The views were incredible, comfy and clean beds, bath products all stellar. I took my teenage daughter and her friend and we felt very safe here. We noticed ample security and there was always a staff nearby it seemed! You have to do the breakfast buffet, it was phenomenal. The location can't be beat. We walked to the arena for a concert, there's a pizza place right outside (Mikey's Late Night Slice), so many little local diners right there within walking distance. We had car trouble on the way there and ended up needing a late checkout for the next day due to changes in our plans, the front desk was so accommodating!

Server Lucas at the Gallerie Bistro is phenomenal! I stay at over 100 hotels a year and have been at this Hilton 5 times in past 2 months. Lucas' service and hospitality is by far the best part of the stay. Always friendly, courteous and service with a smile. Well done Lucas!

We were checking in and the room was stuck on 99 degrees. Got pushed over to this other Hilton. The process was at least an hour and staff were more concerned with correct process of transfer and not the fact that it is now 3am. The process was terrible and staff didn't really care much. I get it. Not their problem. Oh well

I was told that my Honors Member rate would be booked for the full stay. At check in, the reservation I made was not even for the correct number of nights. I booked for Wednesday thru Sunday but they only had my block of rooms for Wednesday and Thursday. We were told to come down and check out and check back in the following day. When we came down in the morning to take care of this, that front desk person said we should not have had to check in and check out and move rooms even though this is what we were told upon arrival. We then find out that our rate has gone from $187 to approximately $500 a night for the remaining stay. Of course we are shocked. We went to speak to the manager and he was not willing to meet us in the middle to find a solution. He gave us a hard no and said you won't find another hotel in this area for the remaining days. We found another hotel, three rooms left and did not stay and found other accommodations. I think there were enough issues with our reservations and being told a different story depending upon who we spoke with that the hotel. It is unfortunate that they seemed to not care to loose guests and two rooms. I am truly floored by the switch and bait and also that management/staff really seemed to not be bothered. We might only be 6 guests total but they just lost customers who that will never book with this hotel chain again.

This trip brought us to the LeVeque. I opened the door to my room and literally stopped in my tracks. My first thought: Can the interior designer come do my house next? The decor is gorgeous. One of my favorite discoveries was that the gold framing around the mirrors and bed? Plastic. The crisscross "marble" lamp bases? Also plastic. Honestly, brilliant. They look exactly like the kind of ridiculously heavy gold frames and marble lamps that would double as murder weapons in a Dateline episode. The bathroom is huge, the towels are fluffy, and there's a separate privacy door for the toilet--an underrated luxury when traveling. My only room complaint: the shampoo has that generic "guy cologne" scent that never quite smells as good as its creators think it does. The hotel's artwork is classy, and the bar area is comfortable with plenty of couches for lounging. The drinks, however, are pricey. At those prices, the martinis should arrive with special effects--a bubble on top that explodes into smoke, minimum. A minor annoyance: the lobby ran out of Diet Coke for purchase. Unfortunately, Marriott doesn't seem to give employees a small emergency soda fund to run out and buy a case. As for parking, valet would have been nice, but instead you park in the garage around the corner. The attached walkway makes it easy enough, though. Overall: beautiful hotel, stunning rooms, great atmosphere.

The only reason I didn't give it five stars, was our TV volume didn't really work. We even tried to turn it up to like 90 and could barely hear it. They did send service up to try to fix it, but he was unable to. Would definitely stay there again.

The place is gorgeous, well put together. The hotel staff were very attentive. A small hiccup on checking in. I was already charged through a booking website but when I arrived they said my booking was cancelled. Odd but quickly fixed. I took advantage of the welcome cocktail -- well, I asked for mine to be a mocktail. If you're looking for an alcohol substitute, you'd like it. If you're looking for juice with a flair, you will not. The bartender really loves what he does and that was nice. I also took advantage of the free COSI tickets. Lovely museum. Room was clean. Bed was nice. Shower was nice. Would've been better if it had a handheld shower head component. Downsides The walls are THIN. Unfortunately, I was privy to some extracurricular activities. Fortunately, it was short and not repeated. The steamer was dirty and not so great, and the wifi was soo slow. The bathroom needed more hooks. You could hang a towel but then you couldn't hang your wash cloth. If you needed a space to steam your clothes, you couldn't have your towel or wash cloth up. Lastly, they only gave me one wash cloth lol I did ask for more and it took a little while to get it. I think they got sidetracked because when I called down to the desk, it was there within 15 minutes.

I felt $39 for valet parking was very high, especially since the first night my car was not even parked in their lot. I actually felt that they should have refunded part of the valet fee since my car was parked a block and a half away in an unattended lot. I actually felt that for $39 per night that the cars should have been in a garage. The hotel was nice, though we were looking for something to eat late at night after 10:00 p.m. and didn't realize that the sports bar stop serving food after 10:00 p.m. and the restaurant upstairs was packed and very loud. We ended up ordering out doordash which was easier and quicker especially since it was pouring down rain outside. The desk wasn't always staffed while we were there, that included when we called on the phone at 7:00 p.m. to speak with someone and the phone just rang and rang and rang, it also included daytime when we were looking to speak with someone at the front desk and there was no one there. A desk in a downtown hotel should be staffed 24 hours a day. When we booked our room I didn't realize my mother would need a handicapped room. When we finally did get a hold of someone a little bit after 7:00 on that first evening we were able to move to a room that was supposedly handicapped but wasn't quite as I expected it would be. Yes there were rails everywhere in the bathroom but the toilet was low and what really blew my mind was there was a bathtub and anyone who's handicapped like let's say in a wheelchair is not going to be able to get into the bathtub or out very easily. There was a seat underneath the sink that could be set up in the tub but how would somebody if they were handicapped get into and out of it. The first room we had had a nice shower that you could practically walk in without having to climb over the edge of a bathtub. I would have felt that would have been much better of an option for someone handicapped. Drawer space in both rooms was non-existent. In the handicap room there was one drawer underneath the fridge. In the other room there were two drawers. We were there for the weekend, we operated out of the suitcase. They were all so only four hangers. It seemed to me a bit ridiculous that there wasn't enough storage space for someone who might want to unpack if they were there for a week or longer than a weekend. In fact, I've never been in a Marriott hotel that didn't have more storage than this one. It was a bit odd to me. The staff was friendly, helpful, the little store downstairs was nice to pick up some drinks or some snacks, I'm unsure where we would have heated up the frozen dinner or pizza that were in the freezer in that little store since we didn't have a microwave in our hotel room. It was nice that the hotel was close to comfest that was happening while we were visiting the area and that North market was just a block up. It was nice that you could walk to things and weren't always reliant on your car. Again I really wanted to like this hotel thoroughly, but there were just things that didn't make sense and were problematic to me. But since we were there for an event, we didn't have a choice of the hotel for that event.

It looks like you can pay to park but the church reserves the lot for Sundays so you WILL GET TOWED if your car is in there overnight. We didn't realize it said 3am, not 3pm, so both our car and my father in-law's car got towed. Luckily the tow lot is just .9miles down the street so just a walk away. I guess we'll just valet and stay in the hotel parking lot next time, would be worth it. Cute rooms! Very nice, clean, tidy, well laid out with lots of little amenities throughout for how compact the room is. Big bathroom, which is nice!!! LOTS of outsets and USB outlets for charging. Definitely no view in the room we had though. We could just see the cement ceiling part of whatever hotel structure is below us. They could possibly put some decor or something low maintenance out there just for some sort of view. The room coffee was decent! I appreciated the two creamers included, some hotels don't include any creamer, which it at that point the coffee is pointless to me. Luckiy my fiance drinks his black so I was able to use the creamers. I appreciated this little detail. I also do like the full size shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the rooms, as sometimes those tiny little things don't even have enough in one for my hair alone let alone anyone else that is staying with me. We had these rooms on points so value for the price I'm honestly not sure. But I definitey wasn't dissappointed by any means!

We asked for a manger but she was not available, we called corporate but they said there was no one for them to contact. I just can't believe that there was no one in charge to help us. They offered us $100 off! I mean really we paid $800 for 2 nights of misery . Don't stay here, if there is an issue there is no one in charge to take care of issues that arise.
