    Grande latte
    Sarina P.

The gluten-free muffins were delicious! There's plenty of seating inside and out for large groups to being by yourself rearing a book/working. Ordered a latte as well and it was warm, not even hot. I was really disappointed in that part as I typically don't go out for coffee so when I do, I like it to be delicious and worth the cost and wait. Also, making the latte took a long time. All this being said, the staff was friendly and the latte did taste good plus, the muffin was great which is hard to come by when it's gf. I bet their other bakery items are also delicious as well - they smelled great! Just beware if you order a drink and want it hot to order it extra hot.

    french toast and bacon

Best French toast I've tasted around Nebraska. Donuts and Turn Overs are pretty mouth-watering. Wanna take out some more. You need to visit the place. Great customer's service too.

Visited Sehnert's while on a road trip with the hubs. We didn't try the famous, James Beard award winning bierocs, however, they look and sound like a fancy Runza. We did try the spiced chai tea, banana-strawberry smoothie and a "Sunday" donut. The chai tea was adequate (being a chai tea snob I would not order it again), the smoothie was "exactly what I wanted" according to the hubs (whatever that means) and the "Sunday" donut was pretty good (it tasted like they added malt mixture to it). The customer service was verbally okay. The older (sorry) woman was friendly and answered all my questions, the younger girl was friendly, but, seemed a little lost (maybe she was new?). We got my chai tea within two minutes, the other items were another story. After waiting ten minutes, and watching three other customers get their orders, I asked how long it would be on our smoothie and donut. The younger girl admitted she forgot and immediately made the smoothie and gave us the donut (after I reminded her again). Overall, the service, drinks and donut was okay (not what I would expect from a James Beard winning business). However, I would give Sehnert's another try to see if the service was just a fluke. Happy eating and drinking Yelpers!

    Cream horn.

Passing through McCook on a road trip. Stopped in to Sehnert's for a quick bite - oooo boy! We were not disappointed! Everything we ordered was so good! I am a sucker for a good cream horn. It was so light, flakey, and not too sweet. Good coffee, too! Would definitely come back again if we ever find ourselves in McCook again!

This is the grilled cheese sandwich with a side of broccoli soup.

Our first time here. Just heard about recently. Just had a very good roll with glaze. Panini…read morevariety is requested for both us. Mine the Italian and B having chicken salad. Really good Americano/honey. Large cups too. Also bagels made here and sandwiches from those, but only before 1030a. I did get an everything bagel. Sure is good. Our sandwiches are sure good. We like and want to return for breakfast time. And here we are again next day testing breakfast. Quiche, caramel roll...both good, not amazing. And 2 bagel sandwiches being prepared. Eggs, sausage, and honey cinnamon cream cheese spread...I think. Americano and honey is good, though I had to pay extra for my honey amount...after we were buying a $40 breakfast already. Not liking that. My Everything Bagel sandwich was ok. Bagel small and not much Everything on it. But we liked and would return for more.

Seems like a place this farm town needs but there's a lot of room for improvement…read more I stopped in on my through Nebraska hoping for a better option to gas station coffee, but it was horrible - basically brown water. Unacceptable for $4. The gal behind the counter had the personality of a wet mop and also seemed slightly underage or underbrained to be working this kind of job. Not the best first impression. She couldn't figure out that I was asking for a regular coffee and it took her a good 5 minutes to try and ring it up. Not everyone wants an ice cream shake for coffee. I hope they figure it out.
