Wow! I've been getting regular massages for about 10 years now, with a variety of well trained, certified masseuses. Karalyn gives the kind of massage where as soon as she starts, you can feel yourself melting. When she's done, you're jello. Karalyn is so thoughtful and intentional about how she interacts with your body. She asks what is happening in your body and what needs to be focused on, and she manages to incorporate that in a way that feels like a perfectly-tailored massage for you. Got treated to a  prenatal massage by my best friend. She hired Karalyn to come by my home for a 90 minute session. Karalyn did an awesome job getting my problem areas taken care of. She asked where I had issues and asked if the pressure was to my liking. She didn't follow a routine like some masseuses do. The session was very individualized which I appreciated. Cons: 1. She wanted to change the start time a couple times. 2. She was a little late. 3. She forgot her mask. 4. I prefer a quiet, conversation free experience. Pros: 1. I feel she wouldn't have minded if I asked for minimal conversation but because I enjoyed our conversation, I didn't mind this experience not being a quiet one. 2. Really strong hands. I felt my knots popping away. 3. Responded fast and communicated well. 4. Very personable and engaging. 5. The overall massage made up for any hiccups. I highly recommend Karalyn. It's always difficult to find a good massage therapist, and a great one is mission impossible! So Karalyn is clearly a unicorn! Her massage are amazing! I'm 6'2 and 250 lbs, Fitness trainer... so generally I'm pretty difficult to massage but she had no issues applying the right amount of pressure and loosing up my muscles... working on trigger point and deep tissue... I was a noodle at the end of it!! She is super friendly as well so it makes the experience perfect! I'm actually passing the word to all my personal training clients! I have a chronic daily (24/7) headache. The headache is due to muscle tightness caused by long-term statin use (statin myalgia). Over the last seventeen years, I've seen numerous MDs, Neurologists, Osteopaths, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Dentists, Massage Therapists, and Acupuncturists. For me, it is important that Karalyn does home visits, since my headache pain levels are such that my ability to handle traffic is limited. First, Karalyn listened to my pain history. Next, she searched for trigger points that may be causing my pain. Note, she understands that where you hurt may not be the source of your pain. Most important, Karalyn listens (some therapists don't, they know best!), her treatments are adaptive, and not repetitive. There are therapists that repeat the same procedure over and over. Treatments need to adapt to changes in muscle imbalances. I have to say, that for some of us, massage therapy is not a luxury, but a necessity! read more

Incredible massage. I have been having sciatic pain, running down my leg from holding my toddler. I was looking for a deep tissue massage for pain relief.
