I had the pleasure of meeting Skye this week and I'm so glad I went to her. I woke up on New Year's Eve with the worst, "slept wrong" neck muscle pain. I figured oh it'll go away in a couple of days, nope. The pain didn't even subside even the slightest so by the 3rd day of having this excruciating, annoying pain I decided to make an appointment with Skye. My husband attempted to help by trying to massage out my shoulders and neck but after hearing him complain after 2 minutes how his hand hurts..I had to just find professional help. I made the appointment through her online appointment calendar and even paid, so convenient. The day of my appointment I went about 10 min early just in case and she was already ready for me! I didn't have to do any intake as I did that online. The building is a bit outdated and not the fanciest but who cares! The room she has is clean and dimly lit, very relaxing. Skye was very sweet and asked what was going on and she listens with care, no rushing in anyway. The massage was a combination of deep tissue and Swedish techniques. Let me tell you, she is STRONG! I usually have a hard time with massages not being strong enough for the pressure but you won't have that problem with her. I was in pain but knew she was getting out all those pesky knots in my back. It was like popping bubble wrap all over my back, I had so many knots. I literally felt bad after my massage cause she worked my back with all her might. I told her she needs a massage after my horrendous knots. The nice bonus and surprise was the added essential oil. Usually I remember that being an extra add on at some massage places. This gets me to the price, she is one of the best priced in the area. I've been feeling so much better just from one session! If I could give more stars I would. I stumbled upon Skye about 4 years ago was in a real tight spot with my low back and sciatica could stand up straight. You all know the feeling. I was working in the South Bay and booked her not knowing what to expect typically I don't ever get a strong enough massage to really get in there. I was floored as her ability to get in there and work places out that have never been released. I drive 2 hrs each way just for her massage when I'm able. She is very open to hearing what you need and where to focus. Now days I have trouble with my legs, calf's, hips from sitting all day for work. That type of massage she is phenomenal at, it is not for everyone because she can really get at each knot in your calf or quads, IT bands and it hurts but it's supposed too. Feels great after a few days. I recommend a good soak and lots of water after a visit with her helps to speed recovery. Granted I tend to get 2 hr sessions. Let's just, THE BEST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Came here for a prenatal massage not expecting anything extraordinary. I have been experiencing extremely bad back pain from a 3rd pregnancy. I am a month away from giving birth and it is not getting any better. A friend of mine kindly gifted me with a gift certificate from Skye. I booked an appointment not knowing what to expect since it's my first time. Let's just say I didn't want to leave when the session was over. Skye was extremely good. She knew exactly where to massage, how hard or how soft to massage. She was extremely easy to talk to. She made the whole experience very pleasant. I would highly recommend anyone experiencing back pain from pregnancy to give her a try. It may not take your pain completely away but it certainly help. Her specialty is deep tissue. She's been doing this for 15 years so she certainly has a ton of experience under belt. Highly highly recommend giving her a try if you haven't been here. Hey all. Skye has been taking care of me for four years, and I have to say: she is the best. I'm a 200+ pound male with back issues from years of lifting weights and not stretching, along with a significant injury from a few years ago. I can repair my habits, but not the built up mess that is my muscular structure. Skye takes care of all that. She digs in hard, and doesn't relent. For someone with my knots, this is a great thing. I always leave her office feeling a little more flexible, and my muscles a little more coordinated. She's great to talk to, and listens and refocuses when I say I have a problem somewhere.
