Unfortunately I wasn't…read moreaware that the only classes offered here are heated, (this isn't mentioned anywhere on the website)-- I've ended up getting extremely sick during my pregnancy experiencing prolonged ibs symptoms. Thus regular heated classes have become dangerous for me and my baby, not to mention my husband and I are now incredibly tight facing a variety of medical bills. The studio managers have informed me that I am not able to cancel my membership without a cancellation fee and have been surprisingly & incredibly rude to me regarding this situation-- going so far as to unnecessarily threaten collections. I wasn't aware I signed up for a year contract as I never even signed anything-- this makes me nervous of how the business is run here and how many others are locked into a contract unknowingly? Overall, very disappointed with how unprofessional and insensitive I've been treated. I will not be returning once my health does.

Amanda was very friendly, greeting everyone as they arrived. Anyone who didn't register online, was asked to fill out the waiver on the iPad. Since I registered earlier I only needed to check myself in. They have a couple areas with black storage containers to place your belonging. They lock the doors while yoga is in session so no one can come in, but you can leave if needed. It was nice that she told us to pick up a couple blocks and strap as you walked into the class. It was a 60 minute FREE mindpose SLOW class in a heated room. It filled up quickly and started promptly at 9 am. The music was a little loud at first, but someone asked her to turn it down so we could hear her since the room was full. Loved the class; however, there was one set that by the third pass at the moves it was way to fast for me to follow since it's been years doing yoga. I wasn't able to follow, except the first two and end poses. Other than that, I was able to hold the majority of the poses and I loved the leg stretches towards the end. I'm hoping to go to this one a week to help with my running and mountain biking. The class ended with a nice cool towel with a slight lemon scent that was placed on your forehead or your shoulder.

There are new people every week, and the environment's open, inclusive, and enjoyable. It doesn't matter if you've never meditated before. On Sunday afternoon, we usually sit for about 25 minutes (cushions or chairs provided), break for coffee & tea for a bit, and then listen to an Integral dharma talk from the Sensei, Diane Musho Hamilton. It's just a lovely experience. On Tuesdays her husband and Sensei, Michael Mugaku Zimmerman, dives into Zen practice in a more academic way. You won't find two more centered, caring individuals. There are lots of options for the practice that I haven't attended due to my distance, like morning sits. When you first walk in, you're in the retail area-you can purchase stones, incense, accessories and just about anything you can think of to get in touch with your spiritual side. If you're lucky, you'll get to see the local cat. I didn't get the cat's name, but I enjoyed sitting on the couch petting the sweetie for several minutes. Downstairs, you'll find the treatment rooms as well as the salt cave. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, even offering a brief tour before our sound bath session began. This place exudes calm, peace and tranquility. If you need a little break from the chaos of the world, sign up for a session (there are so many offerings from massage, sound bath, card readings, salt caves, etc.)-there's sure to be something that resonates with you.
