To add insult to injury once the loan closed they sold our mortgage to a loanshark servicer that handles collections. Our first mortgage payment which was made to First Heritage was not recorded properly and we are now trying to get the new servicer to apply the correct amount to our note. The new servicer is a debt collection agency and they treat every issue like you are the problem and delinquent in your financial affairs. First Heritage should be ashamed. When I tell you this has been an unpleasant experience that is being nice. First Heritage was only about getting the deal to closing and cashing our check. Avoid this company, they are one excuse after another and do not take care of their customers. To date they have never apologized only offering half truth excuses. Save yourself from this place and just don't use them. Never again, you have no idea what surprises await you once these people disappear.
