Unfortunately, their business model has changed from "honest and hardworking" to "opaque and manipulative." The Technical Issues: In 2020, Santa Air installed my trane system but failed to properly connect the emergency heat strips. I spent five winters wondering why my house wouldn't stay warm below 30°F. They missed this mistake during every subsequent maintenance visit over the 5 years. Recently, they tried to charge me $1,700 for repairs I didn't need. A second opinion confirmed their diagnosis was wrong; that technician fixed Santa Air's original installation mistake and the actual sensor issue for a total of $575. The Billing Issues: Their current pricing "tiers" (Bronze, Silver, Gold) are incredibly over-inflated compared to other local HVAC companies. And if you only need a repair included in the Gold tier, you have to pay for all the things you don't need in the tiers below it. When I realized the invoice was vague and the work wasn't needed, I cancelled. The Ethics Issue: The most disappointing part was the office's response. They tried to emotionally guilt-trip me. They held my refund hostage, telling me they would only return my money if I removed my negative reviews. I refused to be coerced and had to fight for three months through my bank to recover the funds for services never rendered. Don't let the high star rating fool you--they are actively pressuring customers to delete bad experiences. Always get a second opinion!!!

My experience with Comfort Pro has been excellent, prompt, courteous technicians, quality of professional service, excellent communication, and fair pricing. The semi-annual maintenance services have revealed no issues so far, so I have not needed repairs. However, I did sign up for the $19.99 monthly plan since my HVAC unit is older; it is a very reasonable cost that covers semi-annual maintenance visits while providing coverage for future issues that may arise. Logan and Alex have provided very professional, friendly maintenance service. Mary always follows up with timely maintenance reminders, and to obtain feed-back after technician visits. And when I called last Sunday with a question about humidifiers, expecting to leave a message for a call back, I was amazed that the owner picked up! A very responsive professional team!

Logan performed my semi annual maintenance service and located a potential issue. He brought it to my attention. Shortly after he left, I received a follow-up call from Mary, in the office. She asked how the service appt went. I thanked her for the follow up and complimented their service technicians. I scheduled an appointment for the repair a few days later. Talk about thorough! Alex, came out replaced the part, and now, I' m all set. I've been a client for approx 8-9 yrs. The company really cares about their clients. I tried to hold on to my old unit as long as I could. I felt confident Comfort Pro would do a great job with my new unit installation in 2020. I only have positive comments for the owner, who was the first to come out years ago, to most recent, Logan and Alex. Also, thank you Mary for the follow up calls to schedule timely maintenance! All around, great team!
