We rented on a Sunday in June for a bridal shower and the owner offered us an unused keg that the wedding party had left the night before. It was a very nice gesture, and our guests enjoyed the extra perk. We mentioned that the A/C didn't seem to be cooling very well (although, we did have the back door open to unload lots of supplies). However, the owner went the extra mile to investigate the problem with the a/c unit on the roof and was able to reset it for us, so we were very comfortable during the event time. The kitchen is equipped with a new stove/oven - an electric, 4-burner residential type of appliance, but suitable for reheating food, which was great for our needs. The owner was clear on not being a fully stocked/operating kitchen - so they don't supply dishes, silverware, etc. However, they do have some things there that were helpful for various items we forgot (e.g. a few serving dishes We really liked the flexibility of being able to bring in your own food and bar. While the price point was higher than I had originally wanted to spend, we found the overall quality of the facility and service to be of great value. Our guests were impressed, the owner turned out to be easy to work with, and I would recommend it to others who are looking for a facility in the Canton area.

It is so well taken care of by the owners and it shows! Mirela and George went above and beyond to make our day special and exactly how we wanted it. They are both so genuinely kind, and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. George was our officiant and did a perfect job. He met with us beforehand and went over the ceremony with us a few times leading up to the wedding to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Our day was truly perfect and ran so smoothly, thanks to them and their amazing assistant Grace. I cannot recommend the Historic Blum Barn enough!!

We had 130 guests and 200 items up for auction. The room was great, the facility is beautiful, the food was fabulous (REALLY!!), and the staff could not have been more accommodating of all of our special set-up needs. They also kept the Mimosas flowing! We'll be there again next year on October 18, 2025, and are looking forward to another great event with the help of the Hellenic Cultural Center. Neighboring city owned courses are offering better value/conditions. 27 holes but no practice area outside of a small putting green. Tee boxes: inconsistent. Tons of divots, and many of the boxes are over crowned. Fairways: no known issues, pretty good shape. Bunkers- unplayable. Loose rocks mixed in with thin layer of sand. Drainage lines poke through the surface in several of the bunkers. Greens- mostly average condition, but are kept long. A lot of overgrowth areas on the West and South course. Expect heavy mosquito activity on the West course.

Main course was a mixed green salad, pasta with a vodka sauce, green beans, lemon chicken, mixed roasted potatoes, roast beef and mushrooms in gravy, and bread. EVERY SINGLE THING WAS DELISH. Nothing over the top here. Plain and simply the best banquet food I have had in many years. Chicken and beef were tender and juicy. Pasta was hot and the sauce had a little kick to it. Beans and taters were not overcooked and mushy. The bread...oh the bread. Nice solid crust with a moist fluffy inside. And the servers were very polite and and keeping up on refills and clearing dishes. Ended up sitting with the husband of the deceased and he said this was exactly what his wife had wanted for her funeral luncheon. He could not have been happier. Hats off to Laurel Manor.
