This American Legion Hall has been in business for 89 years…read more It is used by Members or Rented by other guests for Club Meetings, Bridal & Baby Showers, Weddings, Funeral Luncheons either Daily or on Weekends. On Saturday August 7th, I attended a Memorial Luncheon here for a deceased family member along with others such as friends, neighbors and I was very pleased to observe the employees working for the celebration of life meal from start to finish. Employee Kathy in uniform not only served at the bar of mixed drinks, beer, wine and pop but she also helped served at the buffet of delicious Polish food. After lunch she maintained the round tables of 10 with a few staff employees to remove plates for clean up. A group of polite and dedicated hall staff. The prepared foods were cooked special in the early morning hours, then to keep hot and served with perfection and very delicious in flavor. No complaints at all from myself or the 85 guests in attendance about this hall or staff from the hours of 12pm to 4pm. My photos of the home cooked food and two strudels for dessert shows the hard work, talent of the staff here at the American Legion Hall. All employees were also very welcoming as well! There is also a bar near the lobby and restrooms before entering the hall for Legion members to use when open and to enjoy a drink and catch up in conversation with other friends that are retired or inactive. This Hall is located Near I-96 Freeway - Jeffries. The cross streets are W. Warren Avenue and Military St. is off of Waverly. There was plenty of ample parking for the family memorial luncheon too.

It is a combination of fresh and smoked Kielbausa seasoned to perfection. The Herb Chicken is moist and flavor full. The city chicken is krispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside. Servers were polite and accommodating, the bartender was enjoyable and poured excellent drinks. Our guests enjoyed everything and I would like to thank all the staff for an enjoyable experience.

The team at The Loft is on top of their game, is easy to get ahold of, and is great with follow-up. The catering was excellent, and I loved that they had vegan/vegetarian options plentifully available. Onsite staff was accessible and always willing to lend a hand if we needed to reset something in the room. Only a couple of snags we ran into: 1) in the warmer months the loft had a particular... odor about it. I don't know if it is because there is a workout studio below, or the neighborhood, but we had to cover it up with candles. 2) One particular event which took place in January the loft was without heat for the entire day of our training. An apology was made, but we were not given any sort of compensation for the inconvenience. Overall, it's a great unique space and I would recommend it.

They have a very large amount of tables and chairs but they do not have a large amount of round tables available. We did find that however that did work to our needs. They were extremely helpful during the party hours coming and changing trash as needed without being asked the staff also helped me with extension cords. I would recommend this place hands-down to anybody looking for a venue for graduation party, baby shower, etc. in the Taylor area!

The parking is kind of tough especially if you get there late. The parking lot was pretty full. I did manage to find parking further to the back. It was a little walk but that's okay. I entered the stadium via the gate. I did find out that you are not allowed allowed to bring packages in that are certain size. You also had to have a clear package in order to enter. We quickly found a seat pretty close to the field. I was surprised that the other side of the field seating was empty. There are a lot of people but it is a small venue when you compare it to a big house. There is food that you can order at various food trucks and some lines are longer at some food trucks than others but the weight was short at the one I went to. I ordered pizza from Little Caesars and sat down. There was a regular guest that visited the games that had an extra seat with padding. He offered them to me and my friend and we sat in style while we watched the game. That was pretty cool. Leaving the game was pretty easy and safe because they had designated areas to cross with a police presence. I'm glad I checked it out and attended.
