Price per round is high for the course conditions. Has potential to be a much better course if the Township and Mgmt company invest. Neighboring city owned courses are offering better value/conditions. 27 holes but no practice area outside of a small putting green. Tee boxes: inconsistent. Tons of divots, and many of the boxes are over crowned. Fairways: no known issues, pretty good shape. Bunkers- unplayable. Loose rocks mixed in with thin layer of sand. Drainage lines poke through the surface in several of the bunkers. Greens- mostly average condition, but are kept long. A lot of overgrowth areas on the West and South course. Expect heavy mosquito activity on the West course. read more

The course is decently maintained and the rate of play of people around us was fine. I'm not sure why the entrance to the pro shop is on the opposite side of the building than the parking lot. After a couple minutes of aimless wandering I was able to find everything. The drink cart was MIA from us - even though we were told they were out there. Recently had our mother's funeral luncheon at the Fellows Creek Banquet Center. They were flexible on short notice, provided a good meal and wonderful service. Deanna and Kate were extremely helpful during a difficult time and we appreciated their help in a pulling off a nice celebration of life! Definitely recommend them. read more

The course was in excellent condition, a great course for older players(it is short). Greens were well paced and flawless. It was inexpensive and well worth the price. I would recommend Fellows Creek Golf Club for any event. We hosted our Wedding Shower here in 2021. To begin, they were flexible with us adjusting our date, as we were originally slated for 2020 and had to adjust due to COVID. They underwent a change in managers during that time, and yet we never experienced a gap in service. The quality, friendliness, and timeliness of our service was top caliber form the first meeting to the end of the event itself. The pricing was very fair, and made planning easier as they included catering in the package we chose. At the event itself, everything was perfect. We had the space to ourselves, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was incredible. The room is beautiful, they helped us set up (which was not expected), and I was very happy with the quality of care we received. Played the East and South nines on a Thursday afternoon. The course is not long, but is in good shape - especially the tees (when compared to most municipal courses). The par 4s are varied and offer different challenges, but are, in general, short. The greens on the South nine had been cored and sanded so were a bit slow, the East greens ran well. The traps are the low point on the course -- no sand and all dirt. l The staff was very friendly and the greens fees very reasonable. read more

We had our wedding reception at Fellow's Creek and we couldn't have made a better choice. The staff was incredible. Jeff and Deanna could not have been more attentive to our needs and they went out of their way to offer suggestions that we never would have thought of. The food was incredible and we had a great selection to choose from. We had about 60 guests and the banquet room was not only plenty large enough, but with two full walls of glass looking out over the golf course was beautiful. Having a bridal room was also great when we needed to catch our breath and get a quiet moment. Deanna also took us out on the golf course and she had three beautiful spots where our photographer took pictures that we will always cherish. Finally, compared to several other venues that we considered, Fellow's Creek was more than reasonable and if we were going to do it again we would have chosen Fellow's Creek again. Pros: Very affordable with a Groupon, wide open fairways, you can hit driver off virtually every non-par 3, decent greens and in very nice shape for Nov. 15th. Cons: Can be crowded with hacks who have absolutely no knowledge of golf etiquette, in other words, Detroiters. Also, the bottom-feeders in the Pro Shop want to charge you an extra $5 for a cart with a windshield -- seriously, how Bush League can you get? Teed off yesterday at 9:45 and got in 18 in around 4 hours despite following a 4-some of jeans-wearing, factory rats who had no business teeing off from the back tees (none of these overweight slobs could break 100 on their best day). Because it was a beautiful day (65 and sunny) the place was jammed packed once we completed our round. Played the South Course twice to avoid the slow play. If you want to work on your driver, this is a place you might want to consider but don't, under any circumstances, pay more than $16 for your round with a cart. read more

Great course for the price. I would rate it up there with some of the much higher priced courses in the area especially in Oakland county. 18$ today which included the cart can't beat that. On a 1 to 10 I would give the course an 8 and for a public track that is pretty good. Greens exceptional, fairways good ( some small snow mold burn out in areas) design great and playability is a 9. Went out on a limb and got a hot dog at the turn and that was a 6 I would not recommend unless you are starving and since I was I took the chance. Above average course for the area with great dollar value but what seperates it from the others is the pride the GM...Jesse, I believe, has in his entity. He is someone who gets it. He places a high value on a well maintained course that appreciates the folks who walk into his pro shop. This course will never be a pro-rated country club but what these folks do is provide a great value with magnificent guest service. My experience in the Detroit area golf clubs is that some-how, they believe they are the poop of all golf courses in the country. The starters and groundskeepers tend to believe they are the important ones but at Fellows Creek, Jesse really makes you feel like a million bucks. When I am in D-town, I want to experience new venues but when it comes to golf...I go back and forth for new courses or new experiences then I think how friendly and easy Fellows Creek makes it to tee-off and play without the BS that old, crabby retiree's tend to portray as starters. Jesse hires great folks who start your round with a laugh and advice...not just ornary old timers that should be sitting at a pool with a PBR instead of treating people right. Go to this course to play with fun and return again to play with fun!!!! read more

I had a 10:12 tee time. They called at 8:00 that morning to tell me they had an outing and we couldn't get off until 1:00. I have never had a golf course cancel a tee time. That tells me it is ill managed and don't care about its customers. They didn't offer a free round of golf or any effort to make up for the inconvenience. Experiences like this negatively impact my desire to ever play there. 4 people were inconvenienced by them and there was no chance of us getting on another course with such late notice. read more
