Legit smoothie shop! Great, friendly staff, and huge snack selection. Always clean, ample seating, and a pleasant experience.

We were craving some smoothies and decided to try Emerald City for the first time and loved them! We ordered the green goddess and mango mania smoothies and added some boosters. So tasty! It was pretty busy when we went due to the warm weather on a late Sunday afternoon and we waited awhile because only one person was working but it was worth it.

Great place with quick service. Thankfully you can order 16oz drinks! Thank you for that! Nutrition is listed online. Kind of gross to see that big vat of peanut butter but I'm sure they go thru a lot. Quick and easy fix for me to get protein in.

I wanted to support a local business, so I bypassed loads of options to head to Emerald City Smoothie... It was the absolute worst smoothie bowl I've ever had in my life. With such basic ingredients, I didn't think it possible to mess up a smoothie bowl. Sure, there's different blends and consistencies, but overall it's pretty standard right? Well Emerald City proved me wrong. What they gave me was icy (literal chunks of ice that one could chew) akin to a slurpie from 7-11 or the icee polar bear drink you find in movie theaters. Now, top that fruity watery ice off with granola, coconut flakes, and goji berry... I tried to eat the toppings, but there was no saving this wreck, everything was soggy and icy. Tossed it ($15) into the trash.

Still the best! I just ordered two smoothies through doordash and yum! Thank you for offering delivery.

We came here to get a smoothie, as Emerald City Smoothie recently relocated to Park Row in downtown Bellevue. Glad to have it in the area, as it provides healthier smoothies than any other smoothie spot around. We ordered a 32oz. Mango Berry smoothie to share, which is a good size for doing so. There's also a 24oz. size option. In addition to smoothies, which you can customize to your liking, they offer acai bowls and other health products like supplements, protein powder, pre-workout mixes, etc... There was only one employee working on a Thursday late afternoon when we visited, so service was slow since there were a few customers waiting to get their smoothie. The shop here though is much better than its former downtown Bellevue location, offering more space, which allows for customers to hang out on the couch or at other seating options. I'm a fan of Emerald City Smoothie, so am glad they've reopened in downtown Bellevue. There are lots of healthy options here for smoothies, with some including whey protein or boosters. I like that you can customize any of the smoothies, to whatever fruit flavor, boosters, milk options, etc...you desire.

The standard açaí bowl- its a big ol thing!!

Went in Sunday around 3pm for a weird late lunch after escaping the Bellevue Mall Christmas chaos of lines/parking/etc round the corner. There's easy parking right out front and the interior is very clean and spacious! Incredibly so! And no line! I hadn't been to this chain in like a decade but saw they had açaí bowls and went for it - the two young folks behind the counter were courteous and quick and handed me down a comically large Berry açaí bowl! I was shocked, I'd asked for their standard berry açaí bowl and I think it was like a quart size While the size really made me laugh, the quality wasn't the best (compared to Kitanda or Jaiiya Cafe where it seems they use fresh fruits and a sweeter base), it seems the berries were defrosted and the blackberries especially were falling apart and flavorless, and the açaí blend didn't taste very fresh or sweet, but they're known for smoothies not açaí bowls right? And maybe this is just a healthier blend with less sugar ‍ On a strange note, this franchise appears to be branded deeply in 90s/early aughts weight loss and muscle gain health goals. Kind of feels like a time capsule being in there.

Maybe it was because it's a to-go order but the bowl was super runny like goop-ey. I was expecting much firmer but it just looked like the texture of soupy melted ice cream. The toppings were fresh though and I liked the coconut bits and granola, however it was super sweet. I wasn't expecting such a sweet taste and I'd prefer it to be more healthy. I asked for the agave drizzle but they didn't even put it on which I'm thankful for because I think it would've been like 10x sweeter if I had agave in addition. Overall, I probably wouldn't order it again unless there's another BOGO and I would go in person to order on the spot rather than do a pick up order since it's basically just melting there on the counter.

I thought I'd give this chain a try and I was very disappointed. Parking: mall garage, free. Atmosphere: no seating, long lines for ordering, waiting for your order to be completed is longer than waiting in the line (I presume it is because they fill mobile orders at the same time). Menu: posted on the back wall above the register, also a smaller menu at the beginning of the ribbon divider. Service: order and pay at the front, wait for your order to be announced, grab your own straw. Mango Sago Smoothie: I requested 30% sweetness and it was still very sweet but that wasn't the worst part--it wasn't until I reach the bottom of the cup that I saw the sago was nothing but two large coagulated clumps. It was clearly poorly made and not fresh. The mango tasted mediocre and was nothing to write home about. The boba was also very unevenly cooked and was mushy on the outside and rubbery/hard inside. I noticed this on the first sip and wasn't going to stand back in the 10 minute queue to get it remade. I'm all for bubble tea joints and I honestly thought the drinks would be better quality for a chain so large that I hear about.

The menu is quite small with three cold sandwiches and three hot ones, each inspired by a different region of the globe with the South Pacific, South America and Mediterranean as a few examples. There were two salads listed as well. I've been here twice and both times, when I went to place my order on the iPad, the menu stated they were out of stock for the sandwich that I wanted. However, when I asked the employee, she said that was not correct. So if you see the same message when ordering, it's worth asking about it! During my first visit, I ordered the RENDANG ($14). This hot sandwich came packed with SO much meat! Very tender chunks of marinated beef tasted of coconut, curry and warm spices. The flavor had true depth and I could actually taste hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Thin spears of pickled cucumber and carrot added crunch and a perfect zing of acidity. They were refreshing and cut through the rich beef. A drizzle of Sambal Terasi (chili) aioli gave it another layer of flavor. Cilantro, mint and Thai basil were all fresh and vibrant. The bread was lightly toasted, being a little crinkly in texture without being harsh against my gums. If I could change something, I would include a couple extra slices of the cucumber to balance out the ratio of vegetables to meat, and add a bit more of the aioli. Other than that, this is a great sandwich influenced by flavors of the South Pacific. My companion got the STEAK sandwich ($15) and enjoyed it. The steak slices were thinly cut and tender as well. They do their beef right! On another occasion, I tried the PROSCIUTTO ($14), one of their cold sandwiches. The delicate layers of prosciutto were placed on top of sliced tomatoes, pickled onion and arugula, all between pressed focaccia bread. Truffle mustard was spread on both pieces of bread, which was WAY too much in my opinion. With this mustard having a stronger flavor, it overpowered the sandwich and made it too tangy, especially in combination with the pickled onions. The menu stated this should include pistachios, but I didn't notice any, and they were all out of provolone, so there was also an absence of cheese. For the prices, these sandwiches are pretty generous in size, so I consider them a good deal, especially for the Bellevue area. The ingredients are fresh and make for a fantastic lunch option. While I wasn't a huge fan of the Prosciutto sandwich, I'd definitely go back again for another Rendang!

After being recommended Bellden Cafe by a foodie friend for a quick meal, we headed over to get some takeout to eat during the game. Mr. Brioche ($11) - This sandwich starts with a rich toasted brioche bun, which is then slathered with some creamy and fatty aioli. A soft and tender, spiced breakfast patty is placed on top, charred just a tad to give some browning and develop flavor. Some eggs, cooked on the flat top in a circular mold which makes it perfectly conform to the size of the bun, is carefully placed on top of the meat, and then finally some swiss cheese cements the sweet vegetal microgreens atop. The bun is voluminous, especially noteworthy in height. The interior ingredients only reaches perhaps 1/3 the height of the bun, making it appear that the sandwich will be dry. But that's an impression soon deemed to be false, as there's more than enough moisture from the aioli and melted cheese to smooth things over. (4/5) I don't normally associate cafes, particularly ones that seem to lean more towards the drink side of things, to also serve good food. But overall, I came out pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food I ate. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.
