What a wonderful, knowledgable person! He arrived when he said he would, diagnosed the problem,…read moredid a temporary fix, and was back as promised 2 days later with the part to replace the fan in my refrigerator. I totally trust this company and will always call on him when I have any type of appliance problem. This is a one-man operation and he does stay busy, so be patient when you are trying to reach him.

I'm telling what a great guy to come and repair your appliances. I was a little ways out from his…read morenormal area that he focuses on. This is his "retirement" job to stay busy. Very high quality repairs. He is a one man operation, so there are limits. Please be cognizant if that. The Repair: GE clothes washer ~10 years old, not draining and getting stuck on pause He came in and listened to what was going on and then decided to crawl underneath to get a closer look. He deduced that the drain pump wasn't working. After pulling it out he opened it up and discovered that the pump didn't feel right and showed me his findings. He ordered the part and would not accept payment until the repair was complete. A couple of days later, part in hand and first thing in the morning he shows up and puts the pump in place, and WaaaaaaLa! He put the washer through all the setting and showed me that it was working. Between both days, he probably spent an hour and fifteen minutes total. Great to have a working washer again! Oh, and not spend a bunch of money on a new machine.

It was Sunday evening when I discovered a plumbing problem at the house. I decided to put out a…read morerequest a quote through Yelp so I could see who was available and get some pricing for Monday morning. I've had this issue happen years ago so I was pretty confident in the fact that I needed my main line snaked/augered. I feel like the whole point of doing these requests is to get the info you need without a bunch of phone calls and visitors to the house, but it feels like pulling teeth trying to get a quote out of someone. I understand there are variables, but I'm including a description of what I need... at least give me a ballpark. While Holy City is one of the ones that would not offer any pricing, they did offer a free estimate and they also got back to me Sunday evening within minutes of putting in my request. I went back and forth on the app and set up an appointment for Monday morning between 10am-12pm and was told I would get a text 30 mins before to let me know someone was on the way. Well 10-12 came and went with no tech, no call, and no text. I did shoot them a message at that point letting them know that nobody came. A while later, they sent me a message saying that my appointment time had changed and would now be between 3-5pm. No apology or acknowledgement of the missed appointment from that morning. So I replied, "No thank you. You already no call/no showed our first appointment". I get no response on the app so I figure what's done is done. Then I get a text around 3:15pm letting me know a tech is on his way to my home. I responded with a shortened version from above and that I no longer wanted service. Then it seemed I was getting a new message from an Aaron D stating he canceled the appointment and was sorry for the confusion about my appointment. I pointed out that there was no confusion about the appointment and that I was ready and waiting the whole time to which their tech no call/no showed. Then they just reschedule me for 5 hours later with zero explanation or apology. At that point, the problem was already fixed by another plumber from another company who was more reliable. From there, Aaron did apologize for the inconvenience and acknowledged that the mistake was on their end and he would deal with it internally. Based on other reviews and the quick response to my initial inquiry, I was really looking forward to a great experience. Maybe this was a fluke for them, but I can only go off of the experience I had and it was quite disappointing. I'll add an extra star for Aaron reaching out to remedy the situation and acknowledging their mistake, but I won't be recommending them to anyone else.

Holy City installed a new hvac unit and all new metal duct work January 2025, for almost $22,000…read more During the winter, the unit ran a lot (I thought it was supposed to do that...duh on me). In February 2025, my power bill was $220, which was $80 more than when I had the old unit and duct work that was full of holes. I was told that my power bill would be much better. There were a total of 4 months where bill was significantly higher. Also, the thermostat was doing weird things, and I called them, but it got better on its own. In September, I was switching out summer shoes for winter, when I saw all my leather shoes were covered in mildew and or rotted, as was my leather recliner (in guest room so I don't see it frequently). Cabinets in spare bathroom had mildew, part of walls and another small leather chair that we don't really use. A friend that sells spray foam, told me that hvac is supposed to get rid of moisture. I had a technician come out, and he told me it was caused by water under my house and on the brick. ( I had accidentally left the hose running in that area a week prior). I had a termite inspection about a month earlier where they said there was no moisture. i asked for a second technician, A.C., and he spent about 2 hours at my home, then told me the unit had not been installed properly. The owner came over, looked at stuff and went into a 15 lecture about how customer friendly they are. I asked for compensation, and he called me an extortionist and said my shoes were from the 80's, which is laughable because I love new shoes. He went out to his car to leave, and he accused me of running down the street after him. He was parked on my grass, when I have a perfectly good circular driveway with no cars. I am contemplating small claims court, but what bothers me are the intangibles...I am a 70 yr old arthritic women who had to clean all that mildew. In addition, who knows what the long term affects the moisture has done to my home? Below are some photos, but most things werected cleaned up by then. THEY OFFERED ME NOTHING.
