Located in the Water Street District, this place is a classic local casino with a friendly vibe. The Emerald Island Grille inside has solid, affordable meals and stays busy. The casino is a smaller, low-key place -- not fancy, but fun and nostalgic if you like old-Vegas-style locals casinos. Cocktail servers make there way around quite frequently and lots of good games to choose from. Overall a great spot to grab a bite and play for a bit.

Love this casino! I am a video poker player. Love the selection of video poker games with excellent pay tables! They even have penny Ultimate X! I will be back next time I visit Las Vegas. Worth the drive!

Classic diner type food here for breakfast and lunch. I have been here a few times for both but not dinner. Service was quick and friendly. Food deliver was fast. I decided to try a Cobb salad for first time. It was delicious and exactly as described on the menu. Delicious field greens, chunky blue cheese, grilled cubed chicken, fresh tomatoes and nice hard boiled eggs. Plus the chopped bacon which quality is lacking slightly. I had blue cheese dressing on the side which was delicious. Coffee is just okay and breakfast before with eggs can be hit or miss. I was surprised by quality of my salad and it was extra large. My boyfriend enjoyed his cheeseburger. The coleslaw nothing exciting. 3.5 stars overall for this type of venue.

Emerald Island is a great little casino to unwind. I love that there is a selection of fruit flavored Bacardi. Not many places offer that, and I am a huge fan of flavored bacardi. The staff is friendly, and I love the little bar by the entrance/ exit. I've never tried the food, but it looks good. I enjoyed the 70s music playing throughout the casino. This is located in downtown henderson/ water district, which I think is such a hidden gem.

This is another of our favorites in Henderson! We come here every chance we get or across the street (which they now own). Even though we are from out of town we like the vibe of this local casino. I always seem to meet really great people, which is what I love to do while my wife gambles. The food here is great but they have a lot of free perks like free ice cream, tacos & pizza. Yes all just for coming here and playing. The stakes are low (they have $.01 penny machines) but you can still win big (or at least my wife can, to the tune of $2k). The bartenders are great, which is the reason I love coming here.

A small Henderson casino downtown. Emerald Island is mostly for locals. It gets busy at times because people like the good deals and prices. A lot of fun. There's mainly just slots but you can also play spin the wheel. It has a kind of feel like a dive bar. Of course I mean a cool dive bar that is. The drinks are cheap and the food is too. Much better than at a typical casino. The food's not healthy but they have some okay things. It's always open. The casino area is small. No table games. Only just slots. It would be nice if there was more but there's limited space in here of course. The place has kind of a smell but it's not as horrible as others can get. Good place for betting cheap. It has pretty good odds. The cafe has pretty okay cheap stuff.

Only all our dreams and aspirations. When you see the outside of this building it's truly amazing and inspiring. In fact the mural has deep roots and meaning to the community. This mural is meant to tell a different tale. The artist that painted this mural was Ozzy Villante. In fact this mural he quotes, "wisdom and knowledge are at the end of this rainbow, not a pot of gold." The mural in every bit of its core incorporates the city of Henderson going all the way back to the war effort to symbolize the great American culture of America and all its people and literacy. For if example you cannot understand you cannot ever comprehend. The power of art and color has brought this building to life. While you gamble and try to make your dreams come true inside the casino. Outside was what drew my attention. And the fact the word "rainbow," was in the title of course. There's a Holiday Inn right next door, a restaurant and gas station super close as well. When we walked in, I was a bit concerned at first with how strong the cigarette smoke was. You walk in to the casino after all. Check in was a breeze, but we didn't see any luggage carts so we managed on our own. Once we knew where our room was located, I moved my car in the lot. We did see luggage carts upon checkout so we used those then. Overall, the room was clean, cozy, and the cigarette smoke stayed down in the casino. Price was reasonable as well. Once inside, it was bad! One hour-later when we left, the stench of cigarette smoke was still on our clothing. That was the biggest negative for a non-smoking group of ten like our group. The casino is old but fun with a nice mix of colder and newer slot machines. The machines were DEFINITELY tight as only one person in our group won money and that was a whopping $37.00. The rest of us left the casino having had fun but now we all smelled like cigarettes and with less money in our pockets. The entire staff here were friendly and polite. Parking was avail and free in the casino's private parking lot. I don't know that I would ever visit this casino as this was perhaps my one and only visit to the area but also as a result of the strong cigarette smoke which is a challenge for a non smoker like myself

Time to share my two cents before they pass on…read more The Pass Casino, formerly Eldorado, sits right next to Rainbow Club in Downtown Henderson, making them a convenient stop if you're looking to hit up multiple casinos. They're also being bought by the owners of Rainbow Club and nearby sister casino Emerald Island, so the easy double-dip of two differing systems of casino promotions is going away soon. Although it may have changed lately, a modest level of slots play was good enough for $10 food vouchers and $5 free play twice a week. I've addressed the specific restaurants in the individual business listings, but the ability to get free food in this economy can't be overlooked. And they also recently resumed a program to let you exchange comp points for gasoline vouchers, with multiple valid Conoco locations around the valley. Free fuel, baby! They also have weekly promos including wheel spins ($500 max; I've hit the $75 or $100 more than once), gifts (some better than others), and other small prizes or drawing chances. And their other less-frequent events can be worth it; I even won their slot tournament once. The slot machine selection itself has enough of a variety, although obviously less overall than big casinos. At least they've added some newer games every so often, especially seeming to rotate in newer Light & Wonder games quite a bit. Last, but not least, most of the casino staff have been friendly and helpful. I'll miss seeing a lot of their faces behind the "Player's Junction" desk after the end of this month So long and happy trails, The Pass. Hopefully their sister property Railroad Pass will still feel close enough to the same thing, although they're not as conveniently located.
