Emarald island resort is a massive resort featuring condos and homes for rent or purchase conveniently located just a few miles away from the Disney parks. Very large neighborhood that seemed to have as many live in residents as it did tourists like ourselves who was renting a house while in town for our daughters cheer comp and to visit some Disney parks. As you pull into this large gated community you are met with lovely dolphin water fountains and 24/7 on site security. Once you pass through a security you see the fountain which is the center point for a roundabout. The forsr exit leads you into houses the second exit into soem condos and more homes which are further down the road. The 3rd exit will take you into the welcome center. The welcome center is where I assume condo renters check in but it also where you get your badge for the severity gate. In that welcome center is a fitness area, free on site putt putt course, an outdoor swimming pool and access to the first of 3 neighborhood playgrounds. Across the street was a small, simple and nice email as use land resort walking trail. We stayed in a house called stitch magic in the back of the neighborhood a few miles from the welcome center so we didn't spend hardly any time there. Although on one visit we noticed the pool Area had a live dj and a pretty busy tiki bar. The free putt putt course and walking trails were a nice and fun touch. Our house we rented was very large and very clean and well maintained. You walk in and imemditly to the left is one of the queen sized bedrooms. To the right was a bathroom, wall in laundry and entrance to the garage. The garage was turned into a game room and features a ping on my table, dart board and other gaming options. Walking back inside and continuing on to the left Last the first bedroom was a dining area off the kitchen with a large table. Off that room was a full Kitchen and another small dining area and table. If you. I've on past the kitchen you walk into a large open living room With nice couches and a large tv. Off that room was access to the main level master bedroom with a king sized bed and personal bathroom. Also off the living room was a set of stairs that takes you up to 3 more bedrooms and 2 more bathrooms. The bedroll Immediately to the right features two kids beds decked with Pixar deformations. The room next to that was a Disney princess themed room with a queen sized bed. Back out in the hall way the room next to the princess room was another full bathroom. Next to that bathroom was another bedroom with a queen sized bedroom that also boasted its own personal full bathrom. Downstairs off the kitchen dining room And master bedroom you had sliding doors that take you into your own personal covered pool that was a nice size and featured some on site water inflatables. Overall we had an amazing stay here with the house we rented called "Stitch magic". Very large and clean. Very close to the ESPN WideWorld of Sports where my daughter was cheering and very close to Disney parks and all kinds of good dining options. The resort had really cool And nice on site amenities. My older daughters enjoyed walking to the nearby on-site playground as the one here was more secluded and not very busy. So something enjoyable for everyone while boasting good comfort as well. read more

8565 La Isla drive, Kissimmee Florida Morning, Dory's Magic owner Sri Gogineni I checked into this rental property 12-22-21 at 7:00pm. Surprisingly enough I was very disappointed , the house smell like mildew, the carport clearly NOT clean. And one of the sinks in the upstairs bathroom backs up with black particles. The security lock to the pool area is hanging off from the wall. I've added the pictures to this email. I've contact property manager to fix the sink of course I got a voicemail. I had to cover the furniture to sit down because it's NASTY!!!! I was waiting to send response and photos at the end of my stay. However my family and I are disappointed. I'm sure as we continue our week. I will be updating the home website with my pictures and reviews. I would hate for ANYONE else to be in the position. To my surprise I couldn't add my review to their website. And when I checked a few weeks later the owner updated the website site with a great review during the dates that I stayed at the property. We stayed at a property in Emerald Island Resorts 8515 Crystal Cove Loop Kissimmee. The place was dirty and run down. A pillow on a bed had fresh blood stains on it...it was on the bed which lead us to believe our sheets were not changed. Also the ceiling fans had inches of dirt on them...everything was gross! I rented through airbnb and complained. . The carpets were disgusting, the place was dirty, beds uncomfortable, no soap, no anything...One roll of toilet paper! The place is called "Mickey's Magic" on Airbnb. It was horrible. Also you must check in at the clubhouse and pay for a gate key just to enter the ! Do not stay here or you will be soooo disappointed! Airbnb later confirmed through pictures and statements I was due more money. Basically we paid a 1/3 of total in the end. read more

This was a cool spot. My family visited for a family reunion and we stayed a week. I didn't have to book the place, so I can't give insight on that part, but getting there and settling in was pretty easy. The house was super spacious and accommodating for our family. There were about 8 bedrooms and several bathrooms. The garage was converted into a game room. There was also a private, covered pool. We had plenty of space. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it was lacking a few things. For one, one of the restrooms on the second floor had a toilet that ran all day and night. The jacuzzi had jets/bubbles, but it wasn't heated. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be heated or not though. It's a resort so it has other things around the resort that I didn't get to see. I think it was a pretty good deal and the location was perfect. About 10min from Disney World! We didn't have trouble getting around at all. I'd definitely consider staying here again. read more

There was a heated jacuzzi, and the owner of the property actually cut off the heat for the jacuzzi so she could charge my family more money. Unbelievable! Everyone wants to be a millionaire so badly, but they forget how to treat people like human beings. This was supposed to be a Disney family vacation. I ended up in the ER twice to have the infection drained. I had to take antibiotics for 10 days and prescribed percocets for the pain. Do not rent a property from this location. two members of security staff harassed myself and an acquaintance while we were enjoying the sauna in the clubhouse. Someone had apparently used some illegal drugs in the restroom earlier, and since they could not determine who it was, they decided to confront us in a very rude and confrontational manner, threatening us with the police.  We repeatedly attempted to politely let them know that we were not involved but they refused to listen and continued to berate and threaten us.  They also claimed the front desk person witnessed us doing drugs.  The front desk person feigned ignorance of the subject upon being asked. She also did not know the name of the company, nor the name of security staff. A complaint form was the best she could do and we all know what happens to those. read more

The security station is in shambles. They require far too much information for guest to enter. We were forced to wait for thirty minutes because their system was wrong. The security guard didn't wear a name tag and was very cold. We had two children in the back seat who were becoming agitated and even though a member of our family (who was already checked in) came we were still not allowed to enter. The place is a nightmare to stay at. On a Friday evening, you have to wait nearly an hour to get in due to the way security manages the property. The drive in gate has unorganized lines for residents and visitors which causes confusion for all that have never been there. Upon being allowed to enter, you must go to the community clubhouse to register your car rather than have security do it at the gate. read more

Driving in the Orlando area off Hwy 192 and/or I-4 is no one's idea of fun! It's not like they don't have enough roads it's just to many people and cars! But what do you expect with a top world destination of all the Walt Disney tourist attractions. I'm sure since we live in Florida we can't appreciate how appealing this location is. We had the occasion to find out when 9 family groups decided to meet in Kissimmee for Thanksgiving renting 3 BIG houses two in this complex; 6 and 7 bedrooms! These house were built as investment properties for large groups to rent and go to the theme parks. Our house was beautifully decorated and had a fully equipped kitchen, lovely pool/hot tub, pool table, air hockey table, darts and such. There were many large tv found everywhere and dozens of DVs to watch and some board games too. It appeared from the literature that many Europeans rent these houses when they come to Orlando. The houses are big, have very small lots but all have screened pools/hot tubs and there are two kids play grounds in the complex. Rent is not cheap but cheaper then renting hotel and you can cook your own food so you don't have the hassle of going to restaurants as a small, mobile village with lots of kids..lol! read more

This hidden gem in Kissimmee was a wonderful place to stay while in the area for a wedding at Disney. I found this locale while searching for a pet friendly place to stay while in Florida for a week for my brother's wedding. I found the house online under "Disney Vacation Rentals" . The price was fair, but I was concerned about not knowing the area. I had my brother check out the place the next time he was down with his bride-to-be planning for the wedding. It is a gated community, full of single family dwellings, large homes, and townhomes. We chose one of the townhomes on Sun Key Place and it was perfect! The community has a clubhouse with pool, equipped with a fully stocked tiki bar. It is driving distance to a shopping area and 10 minutes from Disney. There is also a nature trail where we took the pups each morning and evening for a walk and much needed sniffing time. It is very quiet, clean, and a great place to take the fam, including the furry ones (if you find a home owner in the resort that allows it). *Note: I read the negative review from Talia D. and it DOES NOT reflect on Emerald Island Resort. EMERALD ISLAND RESORT 2632 Emerald Island Boulevard Kissimmee, FL 34747 Airbnb- Hosted by Joe & Anne   PROS The house is large and had adequate space for all guests (7BR/4.5 bathrooms/9 Beds). CONS False Advertisement The internet reflects a beautiful, functional house, with clean, vibrant décor, however, upon arrival it is a very different sight (i.e., old, dated, smelly, hot, broken appliances, faulty toilets, poor AC unit, busted refrigerator, etc.)! The door locks and sliding glass doors are shabby and occasionally became stuck and would not completely close or open. The house smells stale/old throughout. All appliances are dated. The housekeeping/cleaning service only provided basic services and did not deep clean prior to our arrival at the house. The house advertises a games room that is in a hot ass garage with poor electrical issues and a pointless, raggedy ceiling fan. Additionally, there is a small TV with a missing remote in garage, which could not be accessed without a remote. There are three games in the games room/garage and two of the three are broken. Poor Communication with Airbnb owners/property managers The hosts/property managers started off in a pleasant, professional manner upon booking the property. I booked the property early June 2022 for July 2022 and they started responding to my questions/concerns within 30 minutes prior to our scheduled visit. After we paid in full and arrived at the house the timely communicated ceased quickly. We encountered issues as soon as we entered the house at 4pm check in. I contacted Joe and it took 2-10hrs for him to respond to our questions/issues. Joe ignored two of our issues completely! It all started within minutes of checking into the house. Upon entrance, the house smelled stale and was very hot. My family and I began to perspire while taking in luggage and groceries. The thermostat was set to 80° and there were signed posted above the thermostat with directives relating to the AC unit. The owners requested the temperature to only be set at 72°- 78°, but the cleaning crew or someone there prior to our check-in time set them at 80°. I contacted Joe and he did not respond until one hour and 49 minutes after my initial communication. At that time, he asked me to send him a picture of the thermostat. I sent a picture of the thermostat, and waited for Joe to respond... We had to purchase a couple of fans to cool two of the upstairs bedrooms. Joe did not address that particular issue and did not send anyone by to check the AC unit. The lack of adequate air flow caused some family members to sweat while indoors throughout our visit. While waiting for a response from Joe regarding the AC unit, we noticed that the remote to the TV in the garage/games room was missing AND the refrigerator was not cooling properly. Additional Issues with this Airbnb... The house is Old, Raggedy and needs MAJOR repairs throughout. There are seven bedrooms, and six out of seven bedrooms have non-working light fixtures. There was a water leak in an upstairs bathroom, poor flushing quality in two out of 4.5 bathrooms, and (of course) the raggedy AC unit. There are only two ceiling fans in the entire house. In the state of Florida, it is pretty standard to install ceiling fans in every room... I guess this doesn't apply in Kissimmee, FL! I'd communicated with Joe numerous times prior to our scheduled stay at the house in Emerald Island Resort and most recently, I inquired about other concerning reviews posted for June and July 2022. Apparently, I am not the first to communicate about the busted AC, old, broken refrigerator, or Joe's lack of communication. When I asked specifically if the issues listed in a review relating to the AC, refrigerator and water leaks would be resolved before our visit... Joe answered, YES.  PURE LIES! The Department of Business and Professional Regulations or some reliable inspector needs to shut down this Airbnb ASAP! There are too many issues with the entire house, and they are charging tons of money for a horrible experience. A TRUE RIPOFF!! read more

Yikes. My family rented here to have an alternative Thanksgiving away from home. My mom thought it would be a great spot due to its location to have our whole family dine and lodge in a 7 bedroom house right next to Animal Kingdom. When we get there, the restriction of cars allowed per Home was our first inconvenience. As I took a tour of the home, I found the layout to be extremely disappointing. It's literally the bare minimum with tacky signs on every corner of the walls threatening a fee if something wasn't cleaned right. Not to mention they didn't even have the audacity to place toilet paper in the bathrooms. Guess when I found that out? Yup! I've never seen such poorly arranged rooms. The furniture was all scuffed and most of the devices didn't even work. We were told to WASH OUR TOWELS BEFORE CHECKOUT but weren't even offered soap to do so. The barbecue had a cheesy lock on it that would only be opened if you paid more per night but the gas level was low so we ended up paying for a service that wasn't up to par. The pool in the backyard also had a lock that made you pay more to use something in your backyard. The kitchen was barely functional with any cooking utensils let alone flatware. The sheets on the bed were in very poor shape and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. The game room had all these games that didn't even work and the light was flickering inside making it impossible to enjoy. The outside patio had no lights and had speakers that didn't even work. It was such a disappointment because we paid a lot of money to host our family here and the experience was anything nothing to brag about. read more

2704 Grand Harbour - The house was perfect for our needs. It was very comfortable and became our oasis away from the parks. The lay out was great. Three rooms with king sized beds and three rooms with two double beds make it the perfect family rental. The numerous bathrooms helped too. The mattress in the downstairs master was so comfortable that I want to buy one like it so message me if you remember where you got it. It was fabulous. The only downside to the house is the lack of suitable cookware in the house. We are a family who likes to cook so we almost went and bought a good fry pan. I think maybe the owners don't frequently check it, maybe they live far away, but here's one vote for some new pots and pans. Also, the pool area had sustained some damage from Hurricane Ian and hadn't been repaired yet but it didn't bother us much since we spent everyday at the parks. We were told that a repair was in the works in the near future. We own a beach house that we rent out and I'd like to give a hint to the owners. You should go to your rental and stay a week each year or get someone close to you to do it. Then assess what needs to be fixed or what items should be purchased to make the stay for your guests more enjoyable. You would then discover that your pots and pans are subpar, you need a few more dishes, your stove doesn't work, and your pillows have lost all their bounce and are now flat. All and all though we were pleased, it is a great value for the money and we would definitely stay here again! read more

We had a pleasant stay in Emerald Islands, 8564 Crystal Cove Loop. It's a convenient location and a cute unit. We were guests of the renter, therefore unable to comment on the rental process. The condo was clean upon arrival. The sofa was a bit saggy, we didn't open the sleeper. The living room verticals were broken, many of the slats continuously fell out. We were unable to maneuver the verticals to the side to access the sliding doors. It's a decent sized unit, all three bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. There's a full sized washer & dryer, which worked well. Hot water was limited if the two showers were used simultaneously, resulting in lukewarm water for both. Definitely stagger your showers. The king and queen bedrooms were comfortable. The room with the twin beds has water damage and visible mold on the ceiling and wall. We didn't turn on the televisions, we're unable to comment on the cable. The gate check in was time consuming. Make sure you have $10 cash for the refundable deposit on each gate pass. If not, you'll need to utilize their onsite ATM (which probably has an added fee). The person who rented the unit arrived earlier than anticipated and needed an early check in (approximately 2 hours), and we would have preferred a later check out time. We asked, and were denied both requests. It did not seem like a particularly crowded time, a little flexibility would have been appreciated. As specified in their email, they provide one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, one dishwasher tab, and not many bath towels. Make sure you plan accordingly. (We needed soap, tissues, ziploc bags, paper towels, additional tp, trash bags, etc.). All in all, we would probably recommend 8564, but the mold issue needs to be addressed. read more

So we booked this rental for the week between Christmas and New Years. We booked the condo five months prior through a reservation company that I always use when traveling to Orlando. They were apologetic. I would not recommend staying here, at least in the three bedroom condo. Upon arrival at the gate, we were told that the rental unit number we were given, the security guard stated that the address did not exist but told me to go to the front desk to check in. Upon getting to the front desk and giving them our condo address, the lady stated that the unit we were given was being lived in by a resident and that they gave me the incorrect address with the security code. She gave me the address for the unit next door. We went to the unit that was given to us at the front desk and upon entering the unit, there was only bed like a hotel room. It also look like someone had been working in there with power tools laying on the dresser. We immediately closed the door and called the number provided for resort management. The management told us that the first address given was correct and to use the same security code. Now I am wandering, do all the condos have the same entry security code. We went to the unit, that we were told someone was living in, and entered the security code and was able to get into the condo. Upon entering the condo, it was very dated and although I believe housekeeping did the best she could, it was not very clean. I mean it was vacuumed, beds were made but there was mold in the shower and on the bathroom windows, the crown molding on the base boards were no longer white but gray from the dirt stuck to it. One day we came down stairs to sugar ants crawling on the counter. The couches were old and dusty looking. The vertical blinds in the common area and in the master bedroom were missing. Don't think about sitting on the back patio, it was so dusty and moldy you would have an allergy attack. We had to have housekeeping bring more bedspreads because there were stains on them, new pillowcases that fit the pillows in the master bedroom and additional pillows. Bring your own pillows because these need to be thrown in the garbage. Also we did not have enough wash cloths. I called management to bring the items needed at 9am and we waited all day until 4pm for them to bring the items. They waited until we left to get something to eat before they brought the items. This was our second trip to Orlando in 2021 and by far this was the worst. I will never stay here again. There is not a contact to voice my concerns with the actual resort because it is through a HOA. There is also a $40 fee for your vehicle to stay here. Upon entering it is beautiful but don't be deceived. Behind the two gates, the condo we stayed in was not was it appeared to be from the outside. read more

I picked this property from off of VRBO second time using them.... let's just say DONT!!!! 8416 Secret Key Cove is very taunting. You'd expect to come into a house thats clean and like the pics you see on line; completely opposite. This was the worst experience. Th were no lights out front so you had to come up in the dark and make it in safely. Flick the light switch and nothing. The the light switches dirty with dirt that you can see clearly with your own eyes check the pics. Then the bathrooms wa the next worst thing hair from previous renters and urins on bottom of toilet so at this point im just like the whole bathroom needs to be clean. then the kitchen was dirty. The refrigerator had to be washed out just to use it. The mattress protectors were stained with urine and blood stains. Just be very careful and there is lots more that was wrong with the unit; from the raggedy washer and dryer to the dirty patio to the dirty misleading living room furniture. to the broke tv that wouldn't work in the kids room to the main bedroom with no cable. Then on top of it all the owner is a liar with a ton of excuses. read more

We stayed in the house - 8603 Sunrise Key Dr. - and mind you, all the leasing people are different but ours wasn't so great... Renting a house is a great idea if you have 7 kids coming (we did) including an infant (we did) and 6 adults (we did) and didn't want to spend a ton on food or a billion dollars a person on a hotel for a week (we did or didn't what ever makes sense here...) But here was the issue - No soap for dishes, no sponges, no nothing so we had to buy them all for the one week we were there. That was a pain. AND we paid for a heated pool and it wasn't. It was decent if you didn't spend time there but kinda annoying if you plan to hang out during the day. Also, the so called "game room" is a freezing garage with an old pool table... the kids were less than impressed. There is no insulation so it was VERY loud and we ran out of toilet paper fast... another thing you have to go out and buy. It wasn't as convenient as a hotel. We had to clean and wash our towels... but it worked out. Oh and bonus? Right next to a decrepit old theme park with conspiracy theories... Splendid China. TOTALLY CRAZY! You are about 10 min from Disney but not in Orlando proper. Decent place but not what we expected... Oh and don't put the trash out at night... the raccoons will getcha! read more

We stayed in one of the homes for a week during October 2021 and had a great time. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with any cookware and appliances you could need. The house backed up to a green space and had hedges on both sides so the pool was quite private (thank goodness). It was also huge with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. We thought the staff were quite friendly and had no issues getting into the resort. The community is close to tons of restaurants and Disney and we drove to Universal and Sea World fairly quickly. We stayed at Emerald Island Resort this past weekend in a townhouse 8551 Crystal Cove Loop. If you are not super nasty, Do Not Stay There. My wife got sick from all the pet hair all over the furniture. The ceiling leaked water in the center of the living room and we were told by the host to catch the water with a bucket. Our food spoiled in the hot fridge. And no one ever showed up to fix anything. I will surely Never Stay There Again...!!! This place was a train wreck from the start. All the bath towels were dingy dirty, The shower leaked, the vertical blinds were broken and stove barely worked. The entire stay was a Disaster...!!! read more

Been to Kissimmee 5 times on vacation doing the parks. Always stay in residential resorts like this one. But NEVER will I stay here again, supposed to be suitable for families but it's more like an 18-30 holiday camp. Loud partying till 1am most nights from multiple houses across the back (screaming, music,swearing). Rang security at midnight last night as the noise was keeping my daughter awake and their reply was "leave it for 30 minuets see if it calms down". AVOID, there are plenty nicer areas to stay in ! Shame to come so far from England for family holiday to feel like your inside a nightclub each night. 1 star because house was "ok" read more

We stayed at Emeralds Cove which is a 7 bedroom 4.5 bath on Lido Key Drive. The house was spotless upon arrival.. beautiful decor... the owners definitely paid attention to EVERY detail. We had 2 concerns the entire stay... the spa wasn't using all of it's jets and we didn't have any frying pans or a working coffee pot. I contacted the OWNERS of the house via e-mail and within an hour we had the spa fixed, pool was heated one more degree and had 4 frying pans and a new coffee pot :) I do not know which management company we were under since I only delt with the owners. (maybe this is how it should be!). The only reason this review is missing a star is because of the resort itself, which has nothing to do with the house or the owners. Considering you have 5-7 bedroom properties that have anywhere from 10-14 people trash and recycling should be more than once a week. We arrived on a Saturday and the cans were full and not emptied until Wed or Thursday of that week. We ourselves filled the recyling bin to the top once it was emptied. Maybe all of the property owners should be allowed more than one can for trash and recycling? Other than that we were very happy with our stay and to be honest that was a very minor setback and we didn't even care all that much. read more

What a huge disappointment. My Sister in Law booked a villa for both families and we looked forward to a pleasant stay. The villa was shabby at best, the internet was irregular and the staff was belligerent, unhealthful and acted like pathetic children playing gestapo. We found the front gate staff incompetent to the point that we waited inordinate amounts of time while they pretended to be important. Upon my arrival the gate lady was so nasty to everyone. She was so rude and made so many slick comments. I don't know how she still has a job anywhere with a nasty attitude like that. Also on the booking the establishment said there were six cars allowed at the property but at the 5th car she stated "I don't care if this car is bringing you toothpaste you can't come in" it's one thing to obey company policy but I don't think employees are paid for the slick comments. I wanted to enjoy time with my family and this experience ruined the entire weekend. Also when purchasing the key card they staple the money to a piece of paper and it is under my understanding that by law you are not allowed to destroy or deface money. So when I kindly told the lady at the front desk this she basically threw the money at me. I can't express how awful this , place was address is 2751 emerald island in Kissimmee , there were flies around each window ceiling stuck on windows, and the tracking of windows have not been cleaned in years , the flies were in the pool jacuzzi, upstairs rooms on kitchen counter , Mangement was called so as I walked in they came in the hour time spraying agin more flies died , more on the floor just Gross , no broom to seep why I don't know but I used the vacuum , WiFi would not say connected yes they were called came out connection lost again two hours after I rebooted it never came back on ending using my own account just to have something the days it rained, then to top it off come back from Miami turn on the kitchen light there's is two roaches on the counter , I just couldn't believe my eyes they were huge especially the one hanging around the dishwasher , of course someone mash them (not me ) I hate bugs to my inner core , call them again of course weekend no one picks up the phone call in the morning , so I go down in the morning what do I see a f.... cockroaches the biggest I've seen in my life time just hanging out with the dishes and some other creatures yes they were contacted again , yes I requested for a different place, couldn't sleep all night thinking something was going to crawl into my ear or my child's with that being said don't stay at this location staff on the phone they are so rude , unprofessional the person on the phone ask me if let the door stay open what a dumb person I just walked in not even five minutes before calling the situation in , I couldn't believe she tried to but the blame else where when they knew flies were there why not just reroute the guess and check out the situation farther , but no I was told they didn't see any bug even though I gave videos of flies and roaches alive they said I wanted a free vacation , I am now trying to find someone other than these people to talk to refuse to give me a refund or a different location which would have been fine and this review would not be happening or at least apologize , the flies I could deal with roaches there was no way this was on a different kind of level even after you watch and seen pictures of this gross pest my guess and I unpack our clothes checked them inside and out and was careful not to step in these pest as they carry eggs from place to place to hatch and multiple, so who ever was on the phone I want her to know this isn't over and b........ please it was a vacation I would be in Hawaii , not in Kissimmee ! Stay away!!!!! I wish I had read the reviews before we booked. 3 families. My husband and kids, my sister her hubby and 3 kids and my mom. Beds are hard as a rock, pool dirty (they make you pay to beat the jacuzzi) heat the jacuzzi!!!! Wow. We were here for 2 hours when my niece went to take a shower and guess what? The shower was leaking through the walls to the kitchen!!!!!! My son slipped and fell by the fridge. And even with all of that they send a RUDE tech to my home that tells us he doesn't know when it will be fixed and STAY out of the shower! As if we're to blame for the plumbing. At this point we just ask to leave. Blond hair in the pool (which we didn't get a net), rain in the kitchen from the shower, broke blinds, patio furniture and oh I almost forgot we were told that the room my nephew is sleeping in... well it doesn't get good AC so I guess he will just have to sleep in a hot room. Now, this is my first yelp review. I am a very calm person and I usually just leave a place if I'm not comfortable. So I asked for a refund. We can check out and just get our money back, call it even right? No! They denied me a refund!!!!!!!!!!!! So people, that should be your first sign that there are problems, when a resort makes you sign something that denies REFUNDS RUN! I was so busy at work and booking this for my family that I didn't do my do diligence and research and for that I am sorry. But don't make the same mistake. Do your research. Don't stay at a place that treats you as if you don't matter, your being comfortable on your vacation doesn't matter, their customer service doesn't matter and why should it? They make you pay in full and offer no refunds. Last year we stayed at Windsor resorts! Google them, they didn't have this week available but had I known what I know now I would have chose another week! Safe travels. Sad my first yelp review is a negative one. read more

8501 La Isla Dr Emerald Island resort. Stayed in June for a week...would NOT recommend anyone to stay at this house. We stayed with 3 other families. The resort was beautiful but the house was bad. House was very dirty when we got there ,floors were not swept, found an open hypodermic needle in the closet when putting clothes away, fans were loud(clicking), some didn't even work, pool was gross....lots of hair in bottom of pool very dirty, waterfall out of whirlpool didn't work, jets in whirlpool didn't work, garbage disposal didn't work, sink backed up when dishwasher drained, no door shelves in fridge ,dryer vent wasn't even hooked up. There is more but the house was just dirty. Management did fix some of the problems but one of our parents spent 3 of her vacation days trying to get these problems fixed!! Some were not fixed at all. Would not use Villas4less again or stay in one of their houses. We had 2 other houses rented through them by friends at the same time and they experienced similar problems. Dirty house, air conditioner broke, and half the electricity didn't even work in one of the houses. Expect a little more when spending so much! Very sad. read more

Professional manicured landscaping and dolphin fountains greet your arrival. This is a gated, heavily patrolled island. You must check in at the resort's welcome building (this is where the fitness center, community pool and tiki bar are located). We stayed at 8579 La Isla Drive. The backyard is amazing! It looks on a small lake and wooded area. The whole entertaining space was enclosed in this massive screened in structure to keep the bugs out. My children did not get bitten, but they were in the pool and hot tub most of the time. The house is huge, 7 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. There's an awesome media room in the garage. The bedding was new and clean. The whole house was tastefully decorated. It was also extremely close to Animal kingdom and only 10 minutes from Magic Kingdom. We will return to 8579 La Isla!!! read more

I'm currently staying here place is decent. Positives- great location all the parks are with in 15 min away, 8 bedroom apt has a bigger pool so if you take a 4or 5 bedroom you will have a small pool Negatives - Overpriced, not a lot of sports courts, simple house. Would we do this again? Probably not, or if we do, we'd hope to use another management group. Great resort, but the management group that we were assigned to (Villas4Less) were a bunch of lazy f--ktards and once they had our money, they stopped being helpful. We were in town for a family reunion. We had to house 42 people and we had 3 homes to fill. There was plenty of room for everyone and even room to spare so we never felt cramped. This could've been an amazing experience had the management group been a hell of a lot more helpful and accommodating, which they weren't. PROS: -Home is spacious. -Home has all essential items to make it a "Home Away from Home"; bed, sinks, toilets, showers, bath tubs, washer/dryer, kitchen w/ all the necessary appliances, living spaces, air conditioning to get away from the heat and humidity, etc... -Luxury "bonuses": Pool, spa and covering over the backyard to prevent most of the living creatures that gross me the hell out. CONS: -Home was not ready by the designated check-in time. -Home was FILTHY. -Floors were not cleaned, there was even glass on the floor. Very upsetting considering we had a significant number of children roaming around the house! -The towels were still in the dryer when we arrived, just to add to the "rushed" job of (what they call) cleaning. -Pool was DIRTY beyond belief!!! There was crap floating around in the water and the floors of the pool were obviously in need of a scrubbing. -Trash cans (outside) were FULL to the point to the point to where you could not close them anymore... So where the heck are we supposed to put our trash w/o the raccoons making a mess of things? -Upon arriving to one of the houses, the key pad on the door wasn't working and the lock box that they claim to have a key in it, and there wasn't. We had to think like a burglar and went through the back-- viola! The back door wasn't locked. How dangerous is that?! -At this same house, there was a dead frog in the pool. -The other house that we were were renting, the key pad was very finicky, we'd be stuck on the porch for 30 mins while it was pouring rain outside and crying children wanting to take a nap and suddenly the keypad would work. And even at this house, the key was missing from the lock box. -The house we stayed in had a particular stench... Of mildew or something similar. All of our belongings reeked of the stench! Even the clothes that were in our suit cases that we never used smelled like the mildew smell and I had even more to wash once I arrived home... Mind you, I had washed all the items that we did use in the house so to lighten my load when I arrived home but that didn't work bc those smelled too! Some things to note: -Trash day is once a week-- we arrived on a Sunday w/ full trash can and left on Friday, trash day is Thursday... Can you imagine?! -Pool cleaning-- also ONCE a week. Again, we arrived on a Sunday and departed on a Friday, they cleaned it on Thursday, so we really only enjoyed the pool for ONE day bc no one in our group was about to get in that filth. -It's not a hotel, so do NOT expect the same thing. They provide you with bath towels and "starter kits" of toilet paper, small bar soaps, two dish washer tablets and the rest of the items are all your responsibility. -Kitchen does have practically everything that you might need. -Again, not a hotel-- so you're expected to clean the dishes and place the towels by the washer. -If you decide to contact the management company, be ready to wait for a call back. We stayed there mid-June and here we are in August and still no call! -Management group is only available through phone, they will not come out to see you. read more

Disappointed. Is the only word I have to say about the front office and the handling of my money for their "gate access card." I typically don't write anything negative about businesses since I used to be a former business owner, and realize the tourism industry is vital for Orlando, but my experience with the resort front office was a huge letdown and disappointing. In a nutshell, my mother booked a villa (which the owner of the villa was excellent and very accommodating!) for family visiting from overseas as well as some family that live in other parts of Florida so we could all meet in Orlando and enjoy the Labor Day Weekend 2016. I living in Orlando of course decided to visit, and when I got to the resort I signed up for a gate access card in which they took down your information, car tag, etc on a form, and administered a key for a $10 cash deposit. They had a sign posted that they only take $10 cash for deposit, and that they didn't have change, so I signed the form and handed them a $20 dollar bill which I saw them staple the bill to the form I had filled out. I know for a fact that it was a $20 because I had just pulled money from an ATM and that's all I had on me. As I was leaving the counter in the back of my mind I wanted to point out that I had given a $20 dollar bill instead of the $10, but I trusted that when I returned their beloved key that my $20 dollar bill would still be stapled to their form and trusted that as a resort and business my money would be handled correctly. Fast forward to checkout, I drove back to the resort to return the key, and they couldn't find my form. Instead they brought me my mom's form with their $10 deposit still attached. First mistake, they gave the wrong deposit back to the wrong person. Unacceptable. So I phoned my mother to verify if they had received my $20 deposit instead, and to my amazement they received a $10 deposit back. After a little bit of searching the person at the counter found my form, and of course no $20 dollar bill attached to it. She mentioned that usually they'll write down a different amount if the bill is larger than a $10 and of course this wasn't the case when I checked in. Instead when I saw the form returned back to me, written on the form was "$10" as the deposit amount. It's sad that someone decided to seize the opportunity to fraudulently write down a $10 dollar deposit was received when there was clearly a $20 stapled to the form. Dishonesty has no place in business, and I hope for your business' sake, whomever the person was that handled my transaction doesn't continue to do so for karma's sake. You may have tourists that visit your establishment that may not know any better, but I am not one of those people. I work for one of the most trusted professions in the country as an RN, and work hard for my money. I always give others the benefit of the doubt and usually don't have to worry about such issues, but thank you for placing a new doubt into my mind when it comes to dealing with other businesses and establishments in the future. read more

So my husband and I rented 8411 Secret Key Cove Emeralad Island. In total it was 7 people including my kids. If you are planning to stay at this respect be very advised. I do not think it worth it and it some how a set up. When I had booked the house. They had made me fill out forms which is fine. But they were very strict are certain things. For example if we wanted to grill, use a baby crib, stroller or grocery $175. Which I think it was ridiculous because the grill wasn't even worth 175 and this is per big night. If you want the pool to be warm a extra 175. They were very pricey on anything we use. Second thing that I seen that was off, the toilet on one of the kids restroom the toilet run all day and night. Running water which I was worry because they were so strict that because their toilet running they could possible charge us. So I had peeped that out right away. Third thing I notice in the living room one of the couches was broken. Than we had a bad incident too where we had someone come to our house late, asking when we had reserve our stay and a whole bunch of people were outside upset saying that they were someone to stay in our rental home. When we had booked it. Yes it had me worry and immediately I wanted to let the people know but then those folks left. I wasn't going to just let them kick us out of a rental we paid 1000. The day we left I had locked the door and somehow they said they locked was damaged. When I had did everything right but for some reason they just wanted to find some thing to charge us for. Then lastly a snake went inside the garage and we worried it might bite one of our kids. So we didn't even go back in the garage because of the snake. But if you ask is it worth it, not really. The pool was fun and the bed were neat but for the price and the charges no. Not to mention when I even first go there the lady at the front desk. Some while older lady was very rude and instead of letting me know they had atm machine behind me. She told me I had to pay 10$ for the key for the home. I literally had to waste gas to go get cash at a tan not knowing there was one behind me and she didn't tell me nothing. Which was super wrong on her behalf. But in all I don't recommend. If your looking for something better try a different location with less strictly charges and rules. Because if not they will charge with even things they probally already had messed up and would blame you for it just to have their 300$ deposit! read more

I visit Kissimmee every year once, if not twice. This is one of the sub division I would recommend if you want to be near parks, supermarkets and restaurants and stay in budget :). Clubhouse of this sub division is also nice. Big pool and hot tub, Sauna etc. It has everything. I normally stay in one of the villas on La Isla Ct (peaceful court). if not available then my second favorite is Lido Key Ct. Overall no complains what so ever. Will definitely recommend. read more
